I discovered Captain and Tenille in the early 2000s. Got all their albums and I absolutely ADORE them. Their early A&M albums featured no guitars, focusing instead on multiple keyboards and syntesizers and it all made up this unique, original sound!
What a great interview. I am one of Toni's fans from the beginning... I was ten years old when Love Will Keep Us Together came out and I've followed her career all my life... I am the unofficial Captain and Tennille Archives. Toni had always showed me great respect all through the years... I'm looking forward to Hello Dolly.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for having Toni on your show. Such a great lady. I grew up on her music and it brought back so many memories. It was great you interjected and used her music in lieu of your theme song in her honor. Also, I loved that you interjected those various clips into the interview. It allowed the viewer to go back in time and just remember how truly talented this woman is.

In the 1970s, I had a floor-covering store. Tony Tennille's father came in and when I told him how much I enjoyed her music, he called her and let me talk to her. One of the highlights of my life.
Smashing interview Harvey! I'm glad you got to interview one of your favorites She is still so beautiful, elegant and classy They had a lot of great hits I enjoyed watching her talk show in the 80's
Thank you so much for watching this very special episode of our show. Yes, at 82, Toni is still beautiful, elegant, classy and so full of energy and love of life. I hope this interview goes viral. Toni deserves it!!!
Thank you so much Toni Tenille for letting us into your life a little. Mr Harvey Brownstone is quite the host and somehow always knows what questions to ask. You open our eyes and allow us to see people for who they really are besides being famous. I loved every bit of it. Thank you, thankyou! ❤️❤️❤️

Yes! I think they were really hip. The Captain had this cool “don’t wanna be a star, it’s all about the music” vibe. Unfortunately, after reading Toni’s book, I now understand what was really going on.
@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 Great interview w really respectful & appropriate questions. I could tell you really admired her and knew a lot of her work. This energized the interview and made one more interested in the next response. It seems that many interviewers today want to get a “gotcha” interview that ends up demeaning the guest. It leaves the audience with a dissatisfied and empty feeling. So I think you did an excellent interview that left me yearning for more! Great job.

. I don’t know when it happened, but somewhere over the years, something happened that made having NO TALENT whatsoever is now a must to get a recording contract. It’s disgusting that so many of “today’s” singers..not a musician…not an artist, not even a “singer” just a person who somehow managed to get famous for nothing. They don’t have a good voice. There are so many. But the first one that comes to mind is Kanye West. I’ve never heard any of his songs…he’s a rapper I think, so I wouldn’t have listened to him anyway. However, by accident, I was watching a top ten list and it was a list about people who had done a cover of Bohemian Rhapsody - live performances only. OMG - when they played Kanye’s version I was mortified. My first thought was how glad I was that Freddie had passed and would never have to hear it. It was the worst “singing voice” I have ever heard. I still think that he had committed a crime - Trying to destroy a classic. There really should be a law. No one needs to have PTSD from a traumatic experience of hearing Kanye “sing”
Harvey, Toni Tennille is a ray of sunshine. Her incredible talent, warmth, and honesty is so inspirational. Your interview with her was wonderful. I love Toni’s voice….I’m a long time fan. Thank you for an outstanding, entertaining interview.

I really enjoyed this interview with the talented Miss Toni Tennille. As always, you created a warm atmosphere for her to open up and tell us so many interesting tidbits!
Toni is multi talented, has had an extraordinary and interesting life. She is strong and beautiful, and what a voice! Fantastic interview Mr. Brownstone, I really like your style.
I was a little boy in grammar school in the 70s, and had a crush on Toni. She was always so nice, pretty and talented. Wow! She looks beyond fantastic. Can't believe she's 82 in this interview. As gorgeous as ever. I still have all the Captain and Tennille albums....All the best to her!

I was 12 years old the first time I heard Love Will Keep Us Together. I got to, by myself cross the country to spend the summer with my Grandparents on the East Coast. The summer my life really took off & started to become me. The music that year was amazing...so thank you for being a big part of it! One of the songs I missed at the beginning was Butterscotch Castle, I truly loved that song...I loved all your work. It was wonderful to see the wonderful clips from the past... singing with Ella...Wow!!! I wish you the best of luck with Hello Dolly, what great fun! I'm sure you'll be great!!! BREAK A LEG!!! 💐
Another fantastic interview! You have become my favorite interviewer. You really hit it out of the park with Toni. I had the pleasure of meeting her and Daryl years ago and they were both lovely. Great Interview! I’ve been a musician since the early 80’s and the first record “45” I ever bought with my allowance was Love Will Keep Us Together I was probably 9 or 10. I still own that 45, Just another great memory from the 1970’s. Thanks for the music Toni ❤️
Love love Miss Toni. She's from a time when people could actually sing. We dont have that anymore I'm sad to say. But her voice is like warm velvet. What a voice!
Great interview with Toni Tennille. She brings up the realistic point that back in those days, you would be either an AM Radio Pop Success or FM Rock Star Success. It wasn't really negative; Carole King's "It's Too Late Baby," was an AM Radio hit that I heard all summer at the beach. Same thing with Carly Simon and many others. Toni's voice was special and her ability to sing contemporary as well as standards makes her stand out as a very special talent. Once again, thank you Harvey.
what a way for an intro, she deserves every word that you were saying, they definitely made an impact on the music industry and in 1975 oh she was so pretty and she is still good looking.
Toni is an amazing singer and a wonderful, down to earth lady. I love this interview! I have all of C & T albums from when I was a kid. Thank you Harvey for interviewing Toni Tennille!
Thanks Harvey Brown Stone for sharing this with my favorite female singer toni tennille of the captain and tennille they were the best husband and wife music team of the late 70s and 80s i have All of their music albums cds and 45 single record s in my collection of music on my shelf to listen when ever I want to

Wow, what a treat! I have been a huge fan since 1975 when I was 11 years old!! I live in East Texas but have traveled to Reno to see her perform with the symphony there at Christmas in 2007 and to Prescott numerous times in 2010 and 2012 to see her with the symphony there as well. I was blessed to get to see Toni And Daryl perform back in 1978 as well. Have every album, record or dvd they've ever done as well as all of Toni's solo stuff. I loved her book, so thankful she wrote it to help all of us die hard fans understand the divorce and what the relationship was really like. It only made me admire her more. Her voice is as smooth and wonderful as I've ever heard it! We bought tickets for 2 of the performances of Hello Dolly in November as well as the meet and greet and will be traveling once again from Texas to see it. I hope she knows just how much joy she has given people over her career and what an inspiration she continues to be. Wonderful interview again!!!! ❤👨✈💃🎹🎼🎶

This was incredible! Such a great interview with this beautiful and super talented lady! If she ever needs that guy to play her new songs too, I’m here☺️!
When I started listening to Top 40 music, "Love Will Keep Us Together," was on the radio. Loved the song and loved Captain & Tennille, today all their music is so ultra special to me. Hearing her sing, always makes me smile.
I wish I lived closer to Prescott! I'd be there in a heartbeat. It's so great to see Toni performing and interviewing again. She's been missed. The best of luck with Hello Dolly, and I hope this isn't "it". Toni, if you're reading these comments, is there any chance you might record again and put out another album? I think everyone listening to this interview, and hearing that you are performing in Dolly would love to hear you record "one more time" 🙂 You have brightened my life since first hearing your music in 1975, and you are still on rotation in my car and on my stereo at home. Thank you for almost 50 years of great music, and wonderful memories!
I absolutely love this woman !!! Top drawer class , stratosheric talent and a gracious heart to boot ....... Here it comes - "They just don't make um like this anymore" !!! It has never been truer ! Love you "Toni" , good luck with "Dolly" !
Wow! What a fun interview. She is delightful. I had the privilege of seeing her star in "The Rainmaker" at the Westport Playhouse in St. Louis in 1981 and she was wonderful!
Thank you Harvey for your in depth exquisite interviews. I just recently found them on UA-cam and I am loving every minute of your phenomenal rapport with the fascinating people you have chosen to interview! Thank you and I hope you do a million more interviews because they are pure joy to watch!

Great interview, Thank You! I am lucky enough to work at YCPAC and on the costumes for the show. Hello Dolly will be worth the trip to Prescott, I guarantee. Off to buy the book.
Thank you for everything you do to make YCPAC so great. I know you will love Toni’s book. It stays with you long after the final page has been read. She’s a truly remarkable human being on so many levels
My mom, now 94, was a classically trained mezzo. She liked opera, Roberta Peter's, Leontyne Price, Marilyn Horne, and.......Toni Tenille. Toni was the only the only pop singer mom mentioned in her list of "likes". Mom LOVED her! SHE saw Toni's depth. Bam!
That really says it all, doesn’t it? I appreciate you taking the time to watch our show, and to post your lovely comment. Please give your dear Mom my best wishes. And thanks for your support of our show!🙏❤️
It has been a long time since I have heard Toni's music and I must say it was the key to opening up some wonderful locked up memories. Thank you for including her music in this heartfelt interview. I had forgotten the transformation in Toni's look from girl next door in Love Will Keep Us Together to sexy bombshell in Do It To Me One More Time. Great Interview!
First music I ever asked for and received as a child was the "Love Will Keep Us Together" album (on 8-track) at about eight- have loved The Captain and Tennille and Toni ever since, and immediately adopted them as "my" favorite music act and loved all their hits growing up. "Love Will" remains as fresh during the 1,000 listen as it does during the first. Great to see Toni talking about her life and career with such enthusiam- bravo!
Toni Tennille is one of the great voices of one of the best eras in American music. I feel blessed to have been able to meet her once early in her career when she and Darryl played my little hometown of Abilene, TX. I have followed her ever since. She is a true musician.
@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 My father took me backstage after their concert, and they signed things for me. I answered her with “Yes, ma’am” like a true southern child, which made her smile. Daryl signed a piece of music I had that was composed by his father. I I was in high school, and a total music geek. I still have a few fabulous musicians on my bucket list I’d like to meet from that era, including Melissa Manchester. If she’s able to rejoin the Funny Girl tour, it’s still possible. 😊
Oh my sweet Harvey! TONI’S VOICE WAS THE EPITOME OF RAW NATURAL AND REFINED BEAUTY. WHAT A MAGICAL TIME IN MY LIFE! THE 70’s! SHE HAD THE KIND OF VOICE THAT MADE YOU STOP AND SOAK UP THE LOVE THAT EMERGED FROM HER LIPS! I PUT TONI’S VOICE UP WITH THE BEST OF THE BEST! SHE WAS AND IS MY FAVORITE FEMALE VOCALIST!
I just love Toni. I go looking all over UA-cam to see if she's posted anything recently. Great interview! I'm glad she's still performing. I know it's hard work. I was a little kid when Captain and Tennille was popular. I loved those variety shows as a kid. It's part of why people in my generation (Gen X) love Toni Tennille. Great interview, and thanks to Harvey for his personal opinions interspersed. I am glad Toni referred to the song Circles. Thats my favourite, a musical masterpiece, with circles concept throughout.
Good evening Harvey- I am late to the party here having only recently "discovered" your interviews and subscribing. You are amazing. The depth of your knowledge and research, the questions that spark entire conversations from your guests, reminds me of a now passed former Canadian interviewer who I admired - as did many others- Brian Linehan (right from my home town here). Your delivery may be different as it is your own, but your knowledge, respect and thought provoking questions are very much the same as Brian's- yet your own style. Back to binge watching and catching up on your many interviews. THank you so much!
Thank you Gayle for “discovering” our show. We’re so happy to have you join us!! I remember Brian Linehan well. I’m from Hamilton as well, and I was a personal friend of Brian’s. And please spread the word about our show!!❤️
@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 Well Harvey now I am just embarrassed- I did a search of you after you said you were from Hamilton and found we are of the same vintage- you went to Scott Park and I went to Cathedral Girls at the time= we both grew up by Sherman Avenue- you at the south end and me at the north by Barton Street- I see you are a retired judge- I have a very old friend- a retired family court judge from our old neighbourhood who recently passed, I am sure we have many people we know in common-BUT that is not why I am embarrassed. In looking you up online, there is an article from the Bay Observerr that was put up only two weeks ago that ALSO compares you to Brian Linehan- I am not surprised but was astonished to see that........I came up with that one all on my own.....you are amazing besides your interviews........back to watching and catching up!
Fantastic show!! I own all Captain and Tennille Albums including More Than You Know, solo album. And later Captain and Tennille's album, More Than Dancing and Saving Up For Christmas ..plus their Variety Show on DVD!!
Really enjoyed this interview! Muskrat Love was a memorable song from my teen years and so sweetly sung by Ms. Tennille. She reminds me of Doris Day, who also sang to the person and not the crowd. Vocally Toni, Ella, and Doris all stood out on their own, the highest praise I can give them! Distinctive voices that are instantly recognizable! I respect how she was a friend to the end to her former husband I want to read her book now! I think that Daryl Dragon was great also , loved what he brought to their songs. It does pop my bubble finding out they were no longer married, much like it did when I found out as a teen that Sonny and Cher had solit up. I would love to attend her performance of Hello Dolly! Will there be a PBS or pay per view of that performance for those of us unable to attend in person? I respect her for giving back and helping pave the wave for up and coming entertainers! Thank you Harvey for yet another excellent interview! I'll keep drinking the Talk Show blend, one of the best coffees I've ever tried! ☕️ 🌟 🎙️
I loved your beautiful comment!!! Thank you so much. And I am thrilled you like our coffee. Please note, the Hello Dolly performance is long over, and was not filmed.
This was most enjoyable. Song of Joy wasn't mentioned, but wow Toni's voice on that tune is quite something. A fun look back. Well done from you both! (I saw them in concert early on in their career in Davenport, IA and decades later at a casino in Bettendorf, IA).
"For whatever it´s worth I thought you were really cool." You tell´ em like it is, Mr. Brownstone. In my opinion, HIP gets dated but POP CLASSICS like the masterful ´Do That To Me One More Time´ will never get old for longing for romance and real love will remain one of rhe engines in people´s lives.
I watched the Captain and Tennille tv series. I enjoyed it but never felt one way or another about Toni until I read her book and she became more three dimensional for me. I enjoy your interview style because you do not intrude on your guest and enable them to tell their story.

Toni & tennille what is my favorite group in the early.Toni is one of the best singers of all time❤
She certainly is!!! I absolutely adore her!!
Harvey, Toni Tennille is a ray of sunshine. Her incredible talent, warmth, and honesty is so inspirational. Your interview with her was wonderful. I love Toni’s voice….I’m a long time fan. Thank you for an outstanding, entertaining interview.

Wonderful work Harvey, you never let us down
Thank you so much for your support of our show! I greatly appreciate it .❤️
I was a little boy in grammar school in the 70s, and had a crush on Toni. She was always so nice, pretty and talented. Wow! She looks beyond fantastic. Can't believe she's 82 in this interview. As gorgeous as ever. I still have all the Captain and Tennille albums....All the best to her!
I’m so glad you enjoyed this very special episode of our show. Please check out our other great interviews and consider subscribing to our UA-cam channel. It would mean the world to me. 🙏❤️

My dad dated Toni back in Birmingham al, we have a box saved with letters and photos from Toni
They dated for a while
That’s so cool!
Awww, how cool!
My uncle banged her in LA. He has a couple Polaroids from their time together. 🥹
Wow!
I’m a downtown Southside Birmingham native…and I’ve always loved Toni’s voice since I was a kid!
-and whoa!…I’m “a Tony” as well!!!
🌉🖤🌁
Thank you so much for watching, and for sharing your memories.
Another fantastic interview! You have become my favorite interviewer. You really hit it out of the park with Toni. I had the pleasure of meeting her and Daryl years ago and they were both lovely. I have been a Captain and Tennille fan from "Love Will Keep Us Together" on. Thanks for bringing Toni to your show!
Thank you so much for watching, and for your very kind comment. I’m so happy and grateful that you like our show! That truly means the world to me!❤️❤️❤️
Excellent interview Harvey! I have been listening to Captain & Tennille obsessively as of late. Toni is so talented and lovely. Enjoyed learning more about her through your interview. Thank you!
Thank you so much for watching, and for taking the time to post your comment. I listen to Toni Tennille’s albums very often. And the box DVD set of her TV variety show is FABULOUS
Harvey I just love your interviews. You really allow these stars to express their humanity. So very uplifting to watch and experience this. You have a great gift yourself.
Thank you so very much for your wonderful feedback. It means the world to me to learn that people appreciate my interviewing style. Please spread the word about our show. 🙏❤️
Lonely Nights, The Way That I Want To Touch You are forever favorites !!
And let’s not forget Muskrat Love!
Great Interview! I’ve been a musician since the early 80’s and the first record “45” I ever bought with my allowance was Love Will Keep Us Together I was probably 9 or 10. I still own that 45, Just another great memory from the 1970’s. Thanks for the music Toni ❤️
Thank you so much for watching our show. Please spread the word. This interview deserves to be seen by millions!
Love love Miss Toni. She's from a time when people could actually sing. We dont have that anymore I'm sad to say. But her voice is like warm velvet. What a voice!
She certainly is one of the all time great female vocalists.
Thank you so much for watching, and for your insightful comment
So so sweet and a lovely interview! She was my childhood idol
I absolutely adore her!! Can you imagine how thrilled I was to have her on our show? Did it show?
what a way for an intro, she deserves every word that you were saying, they definitely made an impact on the music industry and in 1975 oh she was so pretty and she is still good looking.
Thank you for recognizing and acknowledging the importance of my introductions. They are a hallmark of our show
Beautiful talented wonderful lady. Just loved her in the 70's.
Me too!
Toni is an amazing singer and a wonderful, down to earth lady. I love this interview! I have all of C & T albums from when I was a kid. Thank you Harvey for interviewing Toni Tennille!
Believe me I was so very thrilled to interview Toni. I absolutely adore her.
Thanks Harvey Brown Stone for sharing this with my favorite female singer toni tennille of the captain and tennille they were the best husband and wife music team of the late 70s and 80s i have All of their music albums cds and 45 single record s in my collection of music on my shelf to listen when ever I want to

Love her so much. Fantastic interview!
Thank you so much for watching, and for posting your comment.
Thank you so much for watching, and for posting such a beautiful comment. Interviewing Toni was a thrill of a lifetime. I loved every moment of our time together. I hope all her fans watch this interview, and that you’ll share it with all your friends. And please consider subscribing to our UA-cam channel. 🙏❤️

Thank you so much for watching!!! I hope you’ll do me the honor of subscribing to our UA-cam channel. 🙏❤️
I remember so well. Ouch! I was young once. Thank you. There may be life in me yet. What a sweetheart. Dang
Age is only a number, darling.
What a incredible interview. ❤
Thank you so much for watching!!
When I started listening to Top 40 music, "Love Will Keep Us Together," was on the radio. Loved the song and loved Captain & Tennille, today all their music is so ultra special to me. Hearing her sing, always makes me smile.
What did you think of the interview?
Thank you for your beautiful comment. Greatly appreciate it.
I absolutely love this woman !!! Top drawer class , stratosheric talent and a gracious heart to boot ....... Here it comes - "They just don't make um like this anymore" !!! It has never been truer ! Love you "Toni" , good luck with "Dolly" !
I’m so glad you enjoyed this interview. It was a real thrill having her on our show. Thank you so much for watching.
Wow! What a fun interview. She is delightful. I had the privilege of seeing her star in "The Rainmaker" at the Westport Playhouse in St. Louis in 1981 and she was wonderful!
Glad you enjoyed the interview
Thank you Harvey for your in depth exquisite interviews. I just recently found them on UA-cam and I am loving every minute of your phenomenal rapport with the fascinating people you have chosen to interview! Thank you and I hope you do a million more interviews because they are pure joy to watch!
What a beautiful comment!! I’m so happy and grateful that you’ve discovered our show. And I look forward to your feedback on every interview you choose to watch. I put my heart and soul into every interview, and your feedback means the world to me 🙏❤️
Great interview, Thank You!
Grew up with Captain and Tennilles music and tv show and I was a child back in the 70s. Love it
I have the DVD box set of their TV show and love it so much!!
@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 i also have the dvd set. Also Sonny and Cher
@Rest65432 me too and also the Tony Orlando and Dawn box set
Thank you so much for watching, and for taking the time to post a comment. ❤️
I was one of Toni Tennille’s biggest biggest fans-all these years😊
You and me both, believe me
First music I ever asked for and received as a child was the "Love Will Keep Us Together" album (on 8-track) at about eight- have loved The Captain and Tennille and Toni ever since, and immediately adopted them as "my" favorite music act and loved all their hits growing up. "Love Will" remains as fresh during the 1,000 listen as it does during the first. Great to see Toni talking about her life and career with such enthusiam- bravo!
What did you think of the interview?
@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 It was great to hear Toni talk about her career as part of the Captain and Tennille, and beyond.
Thank you so much for watching our show.
Toni Tennille is one of the great voices of one of the best eras in American music. I feel blessed to have been able to meet her once early in her career when she and Darryl played my little hometown of Abilene, TX. I have followed her ever since. She is a true musician.
You’re so fortunate to have met her. I absolutely adore her
@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 My father took me backstage after their concert, and they signed things for me. 😊
@kellydiver don’t miss my interview with Melissa Manchester
Thank you so much for this interview. I absolutely love Toni Tennille, she is the epitome of a woman and entertainer.
Thanks so much for watching this very special episode of our show. Greatly appreciated.
Enjoyed seeing this, Toni so talented.

You've Never Done It Like That is my favorite.
I love that song too. But my favorite is “We Never Really Say Goodbye”
Oh my sweet Harvey! Once again, you have reached the pinnacle point of providing the paramount importance for the most friendly and professionally informative interview, that keeps you in an ‘on the edge of your seat’ kind of excitement which you provide each and every single time! Thank you so much! I absolutely love love love Toni, and like you, I have always loved and enjoyed her vocals, as l sing as well, and so appreciate quality vocals. So this was so wonderful to hear. She is a beautiful soul, as you say. Also, I wish to extend my sincere condolences to you on the loss of her Majesty, the Queen. A lovely and beautiful soul. For all the goodwill she gave this world, may the angels take her on wings to heaven. I will indeed miss her. May she Rest In Peace. Once again, I thank you for this amazing interview, most sincerely. Love and Kisses, Frankie 🥰🌹😘🤗💕🥰💙 ….ps..I enjoyed her Back To The Island…I actually loved her rendition better than Leon Russell! 😎💙

Such a CLASS ACT!!. Always loved her.❤
That’s for sure. I absolutely adore her.

Toni is such a sweet lady, I was a big fan of hers since the mid 70s. Yes I’m old 😊
I was a big fan of hers too and I still am
Really enjoyed this interview Harvey. Cheers
Thanks so much for watching
I just love Toni. I go looking all over UA-cam to see if she's posted anything recently. Great interview! I'm glad she's still performing. I know it's hard work. I was a little kid when Captain and Tennille was popular. I loved those variety shows as a kid. It's part of why people in my generation (Gen X) love Toni Tennille. In fact, I will look for them on UA-cam and play them now and I'm transported back to my childhood. She's such a wonderful lady. So incredibly talented! I'm glad she's doing well. I wish her so much happiness ♥♥♥
She is fully retired now. I’m happy she’s enjoying her life now.
@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 Is she? Wow. I will miss seeing and hearing about her. Good for her, but bad for her fans. I wish her well.♥♥♥ Thanks for replying and letting me know.

Brilliant interview. Gonna look at some more of your interviews now. 👍🏻

There's been many amazing female singers but it's my sincere opinion that Toni ranks among the very best of them all! Great musician, too.
That is 100% correct. She’s a magnificent vocalist. I tried to bring that out in the interview
@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 You sure did and you're a stellar interviewer Harvey making people relaxed and comforted and bringing out the best in them. Keep up the good work!👍

Great interview, and thanks to Harvey for his personal opinions interspersed. I am glad Toni referred to the song Circles. Thats my favourite, a musical masterpiece, with circles concept throughout.
Thank you so much for watching this very special episode of our show!
It’s a great honour to be compared to him. Thank you so much for your very kind feedback. Now hurry up and start binge watching!!! You’ve got a lot of catching up to do!!
She's the real deal. A truly class act, and as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
Absolutely true. Thanks for watching
Fantastic show!! I own all Captain and Tennille Albums including More Than You Know, solo album. And later Captain and Tennille's album, More Than Dancing and Saving Up For Christmas ..plus their Variety Show on DVD!!
Me too. I have everything they’ve ever done
Man I'm a big fan/ i use to look at the captain/tennille variety show. A very talented couple
What did you think of the interview?
Thanks! If I ever se her in person, I'll know to let her read her book without being interrupted.
She will appreciate that for sure
This was most enjoyable. Song of Joy wasn't mentioned, but wow Toni's voice on that tune is quite something. A fun look back. Well done from you both! (I saw them in concert early on in their career in Davenport, IA and decades later at a casino in Bettendorf, IA).
Thanks so much for your great feedback about this very special episode of our show
I used to love her and her voice when I was a seventies kid. She look like my first and second grade teacher.
I still love her!
The interview was amazing!😊
Thank you so much!!! Please spread the word about our show🙏❤️
"For whatever it´s worth I thought you were really cool."
You tell´ em like it is, Mr. Brownstone.
In my opinion, HIP gets dated but POP CLASSICS like the masterful ´Do That To Me One More Time´ will never get old for longing for romance and real love will remain one of rhe engines in people´s lives.
Amen!!
I watched the Captain and Tennille tv series. I enjoyed it but never felt one way or another about Toni until I read her book and she became more three dimensional for me. I enjoy your interview style because you do not intrude on your guest and enable them to tell their story.
I’m so grateful that somehow, through the magic of the internet, I’ve amassed the most supportive and loyal audience any talk show host could ever hope for. I’m so blessed that you found our show.
