- Took the XMAXX out for a bash with the new M2C wide hubs to test them out. They held up awesome but some of the truck did not lol.

Killer durability test on the M2C axels David 😱!!!! Loving the wide stance and stable handling this adds plus all the 24mm hex wheel options 😍. Absolutely HUGE vertical airs 👀. This was definitely a sacrifice for the team.... knowing now all the myriad of internal parts and chassis sections you had to replace. That monster send at the end is definitely more than this platform will handle 😂. Maybe the mini Maxx, but definitely not Big Bertha. That roof landing was friggin awesome 😱🤣🤣. Great stuff Brother and glad you have her rebuilt and running again. PS.... Gorilla tape those connectors. It saves you time and money in the end. 🍻🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
Thanks Rich I really appreciate that buddy! That vert ramp was definitely hard on the car but it was a decent test for the axles for sure, but yes I’m definitely taking your advice those connectors together from now on. I had a blast out there and that’s what matters right?

One of the skate parks is in Zelienople the other one is in downtown Butler kind of on the southside.

I know i mentioned this, if your still having issues replace the rear bulkhead and put the hot racing aluminum plate on the rear under the rear skid plate. I haven’t broke any since. Well how you keep it going for so long is beyond me, I'd have broken something on the first jump! That's one tough truck and the best part is you'll have it up and running again in no time. Hope the damage wasn't as severe as it seems. Happy New Year David!
Well at first I didn’t think it was too bad after tearing into the truck I have now replaced 80% of the plastic on this car but it is back up and running lol

Yeah honestly I’m scared to stay on the gas that hard because the tires will self-destruct when I put the belted ones on I can give that a try maybe
@@BarstoneRC I reglue the tires on your video and they have little trouble with double and triple backflips. Hehe. I run 25/35 gearing, which I believe has even more rotation speed than your 30/50 gearing?? Not sure. I know that it's very fast even on grass.

Well all the chassis breakage and all the major carnage was found when I started pulling it apart to fix the Kush drive

Yeah the aluminum diff covers definitely help keep the diffs in place. A also put a shim between the bearing on and output drives on both front and rear differential to make the mesh a little tighter. That's very cold weather for big jumps bud. I predict that it didn't end well before I even watch the video 🤣
Yeah temperatures definitely play a huge part in breakage and I expect that so it’s no huge surprise lol
@@BarstoneRC I do jump my X-Maxx pretty high, but not on concrete like in your video honestly. I just don't feel comfortable landing my $2k Xmaxx on such a hard surface. I do plenty of damage with 30ft jumps, doubles and triple backflips, while landing on grass. Thanks for the carnage bud! Someone did test an Xmaxx weight with the stuff that you got and it was like 28lbs, which is almost as much as the 8s Arrmas 🤣. I think my X-Maxx is around that weight too.

Do you recommend the m2c wide kit or the Traxxas wide kit?
From everything I have seen and talk to people about the XMAXX kit is a little too wide you lose handling and bend driveshafts easier I think the M2C is just right.

That was off the chain bars landing on that concession stand I thought I seen some popcorn blow out that one door when the xmax hit the roof that would have blew someone's eardrums out if they were inside there
Yeah I really wanted to jump over it but the jump just produces too much height and not enough distance lol

No the M2C wide kit.
What happens if you bend or damage one will m2c sell singles?
I think if you were to actually bend one of these they would either sell you one or get things straightened out but it would be pretty hard to damage one of these I think.

No they’re the stock rpm a arms with the extended hubs

Yeah I have the same truck except I didn't put any kit on there I left at stock I think stocks the best part of it I haven't had one issue yet and I would never change the motor that's just my opinion it's already quick enough enough in the grass I think it's an insult to take this on pavement not to be rude anybody this is meant for the grass or dirt not for the street I take my XO on the street or my rustler or some other street car, this is meant to bash which it's a great truck overall I like your tires though.
I'd rather buy these than the Traxxas wide kit , keep us posted soon as there available

Is the m2c motor mount bent near the pinion gear?
The tabs the connect to the motor mount had bent whenever I had the 800 KV motor in this thing and it wasn’t supported. That motor is just too big and heavy. For this truck
Bring some electrical tape with you and tape the connectors together. !

Yeah and I still don’t understand why that cop decided to give me a hard time at the BMX track I’ve ran into two others while I was there on past visits and none of them said anything or had an issue. One of them sat there and talk to me about the cars and how fast they went and stuff like that
