its always taught with a plant leg for sure. but have you seen it hit in competition? The secondary leg lots of time is used to guide the throw or to create momentum. Not very useful if it's planted on the floor. Just my humble opinion.
@Shigashi84 I'm with the old school. The plant leg gives continuous power, and if your oppenent doesn't go over before it leaves the ground, the throw wasn't going to work either way.
