Joseph Coker!!! Comic, Musician, and Martial Artist extraordinaire! And of course, the most intelligible judo instructor on UA-cam, Shintaro. This video has got it all !!!
Interesting, you teach the step behind version of yoko from ai yotsu. Ive seen it before but never done it. I usually do ko uchi to yoko. I’ll have to try it.
I feel a big deterrent in BJJ for this is the 2pts some competitions award if they grab your leg on the way down. Especially if you are posting the foot up on the side that you only have the collar grip. I've gotten plenty of points that way myself but kind of disagree with the rule as you are really doing nothing to achieve a takedown and it makes people hesitant to try things like this. That being said I teach this to all of my students, as well as wrestling and guard pulling🤙
Sensei, I find that with yoko tomoe even when I get the guy loaded up and elevated, they end up making a wide arc around into side control or in some cases doing a cartwheel over me. Any tips to stop this?

God i love this channel
Bjj practitioners should at the least specialize in sutemi waza. One of the best models is to follow Katsuhiko Kashiwazaki Sensei.
Yes! Kashiwazaki is the master. His Tomoe nage is amazing 🤙🥋
Great stuff 🙏🏻 Love the adjustments
