an UPDATE: The Wheel Inn was demolished today. I saw some pictures online.. I'm glad I made it out there 2 days before it was killed.
I was just there last week !
I'm happy that I had the opportunity to eat there, when I used to commute between San Diego and Palm Springs.
So sad 😞

Hi Jordan, The Wheel Inn was once a truck stop and had a fair amount of parking. I went in there often back in the 70s, and early 80s.
Came back here after watching your video about Alice (Large Marge) at her grave.. wow, its been a long time since back in the early daze!
