J&B the two of you always amaze me with your knowledge and videos. I was NOT aware until now of the 2013 Nickel. Thanks, God bless and I pray B is getting around better and the puppy gets well.
Thank you, but the credit goes to my wife, B. She is doing the research for the content for our videos, choosing the topics and creating the entire video from the start to the end. I only read her scripts😊
Wow I am so happy and excited with the beautiful 2006 P & D proof set!!! God I love u guys! Thank you so much. Hope Cujo does well this Tuesday coming up. God bless
Sure didn't know this. Can't believe you could turn a nickel in 1000 bucks. Thanks J&B for putting the hard work into letting us all know these things.🙏 for Zoey. Don't know what is going on with her but heard you say in one of the streams she isn't doing well.

Thanks for this video. I was looking at a 2013 P Nickel I have, it's by far from being in mint condition but I did notice one thing that cough my attention when checking the stairs. One of the front pillars looks to be off. Almost like the stamp was faulty. Is there anything with the pillars that can make them valuable? Would love to show you a picture
i got a 2013 jefferson that look like it was struck on a copper plancet on one side and a brass or bronze on the other side of the coin.. hear any thing about that one? D mint mark
Hello, I don't know anything about collecting numismatic, but your chanel popped when I was trying to find any info about weird nickle that I was scratching my scratch tickets. I don't buy them at all, but I was having a weakness day (didn't won). LoL. Anyway, my coin is 2013, has off center face and the house on the other side is upside- out/ totally opposite. It weights 0.011 lbs. Can you be so kind and let me know if it has any value? Thank you so much ❤
Just found a 2013D. Can't tell if it's doubled just yet but it's got some cracks on the Whitehouse, and the whole thing is grayish cloudy possibly from oxidation idk. Btw am not expecting responses to all these comments lol. just typing out loud, hoping to discover new errors & get some occasional feedback while letting you know what's going on out here so you are as informed as possible. It's my way of paying for the knowledge you freely spread
I have a 2013 P nickel with full steps, but there's an error. Under the steps and above the N in Monticello when it was struck. I'm new at this, but doesn't the error increase the value?
I wouldn't mid to know this things also because it seems to be hit and miss with coins from what I can see. In most cases from what I see errors add but it sounds like in this ones case it's only worth as much as it because they had so many had errors? As in it's hard to find a high grade business one? idk I would imagine it depends on the error also if the error is rare... haahaha I'm so confused right now.
Interesting that every modern nickel weighs 5.000 grams or 0.176 ounces including the 1942-1945 Nickels. Before the Jefferson nickels there were other series such as the Washington nickel, Shield nickel, Buffalo nickel and the Liberty Head V nickel. Each of these series also weigh exactly 5 grams! So the nickels found in your change should all weigh 5 grams unless they have errors, damage or a different composition. The earliest nickels weighed much less than 5 grams. The first nickel ever produced was the "half disme". It was produced in 1792 and it weighs just 1.2 grams. Next came the Flowing Hair half dime (nickel) that weighs 1.34 grams. The Draped Bust and Capped Bust half dime series followed and they each weigh 1.35 grams. Starting in 1837 until the Coinage Act of 1873, the nickel went through changes so the weight wasn't consistent. In 1837 the Seated Liberty half dime was minted with a weight of 1.34 grams. In 1853 this coin's weight changed to 1.24 grams. It continued to be minted with a weight of 1.24 grams until the series ended in 1873.
Im looking at 5 Denver mints and 1 Philly mint in my hand. They ALL have full stair set... idk how to tell grade or anything. I have NO CLUE about any of this...
For some reason I looked at the year on a penny and was shocked 1933D then I found the Nicole you were talking about. Now I'm going through ALL of the change I can find. Lol
HI I found a nickel that is American made and I'm in Canada I really don't know if it is something that I should get appraised but it is not what I thought it would look like the head of it and the white house isn't it supposed to be paralle to each other because the one I have dosen't it is upside down from eachother as in when I look at the head right side up the white house is opposite upside down is that the way it is or not because ever other ones are upside up and up it is a 2013 p
I have a 2013 P w full steps that can be seen at both ends AND the center. And the nickel is "rainbowish" colored. I wish i could put a pic of it here.
I would guessed that they would evenuatlly bring value in 20 years but has of right now that a shocker to me cause I had a much of nickel rolls n didnt even think twice about this 2013 nickel :(
WOW! I'm going to have to steal my granyunguns 2013 sets and look at these coins. 2013 is the year I became PawPaw. Twice. So now I have to go back to SC and raid their collection. NOT! Hope you are BOTH well and covered in snow.

The Jefferson coin that you showed at 5:43 from San Francisco seemed different. It didn't even have any steps. Or was that my imagination?
