Great review Had a Kubota g21 HD for 10 years it could cut anything never give any major issues just wear and tear changed to a g21e HD there 2 years ago same thing also very comfortable and the high dump is very useful for tipping over fences and high sided trailer
My work currently have a G231-HD on order arriving soon to replace our 6 year old JD X950R, which is starting to fall apart and a nightmare to get the deck off. We used to use an Iseki SXG323 and SXG19 before trialling a Kubota G23 and JD X950R, and chose the JD originally, but since realised it was the wrong choice over the past 5 years and we should have went with Kubota all along, you really can't beat them for mid mount deck FWD machines.
Always used kubota ride ons and diggers also just purchased a 90hp tractor as well because they are reliable and strong and do the job. Highly recommended
Great review, I have rhe G261 HD which is essentially the same miwer as this only high tip, love it, upgraded the tyres for irish waether and with the hight tip and front weights its significantly heavier than this mower,
We had a gr 1600 for 8 years it was a wreck when we chopped it in for an iseki 216 which is now 8 years old and apart from a few dents is as good as new, no comparison
It would be brilliant to get some ransomes machines on the Chanel, it may just be my area but the vast majority of commercial machines are cylinder triples.
In the order of the way I got my colector mowers .Kubota g 1900 came with the busnis . Purched new g1900 . Went to to JD New 455 X495 x750 Went second hand ( isehi sxg 22 best purchase ever )amazon profihopper sxg 326 sxg 22 600 hours sxg 326× also Leck stone raker 2,saxons case tractor with 6 ft major mower john deere 5300 with 12 ft mower 4 transit laland daf canter
This is really just council machine for a landscaper ud really want this deck and rear linkage over here in ireland with the rear collection machine damp clover can be a problem
Kubota does some nice machines now, that looks really good and comfy to operate, what hight of grass would it cut though🤔, but there is one fault i never seen a cup holder 😂
I’m not really a fan of tractor type ride on mowers, probably because of that place I worked with that 605R which was completely the wrong machine for the site it was on, those aren’t meant for constantly going up and down tall kerbs on industrial sites full of rocks, potholes, raised manhole covers, bits of strewn concrete and rebar, really thick grass and domestic waste. There were constant problems with it as a result until it finally fell to pieces. At least this one can go up and down kerbs though.
Yeah, we see it so often where the wrong machine is being used for the job. Or where people buy a cheaper machine thinking it will do the same job as a dearer one. So frustrating as a machine can get a bad rep for no reason.
@@MachineryNation Indeed! Commercial sites require commercial products, no matter how many times you tell people that you’ll still find them looking through domestic product catalogues again when something breaks. That’s just site managers for you though, stupid. That’s why I won’t work for these people any more.
Hi bud looks like a great machine, currently im using stihl and honda hrd walk behind mower But jobs are getting bigger, im unsure on what is the best ride on, currently looking at the diesel iseki, but is kubota better in your opinion
The most important parts of the buying process I would say is how good is your relationship with your dealer and how supportive are they? What are the spare parts availability like. Otherwise, choose the right machine for you.
Nearly bought a kubota F3890 out front mower, but came across a ransome HR 300 with less hours and in better condition. Kubota make good machines and my ransome has a 33 hp kubota engine which seams strong and reliable
Trouble with Mulching it needs to be done much more regularly, other wise the decks can’t deal with the grass and you end up put more strain on the machines. Take councils for instance, some areas you’re lucky if they cut the grass once a month, a mulcher would not cope.
Nope has that stupid famous Kubota treadle pedal. Worst device ever placed on any machine. I will take a John Deere side by side two pedal any day. So comfortable to use. Heal of your foot stays in one place and you simply pivot your toes left or right to change direction. Ran one for many tears as well as a treadle pedal on a BX Kubota working for a local school district. Would love a chat with Kubota top management.
Nice tractor, but the ROPs need to go, i don't know what they were thinking putting ROPs that big and ugly on such a small mower. It looks like you're towing around a section of scaffolding lol.
@@MachineryNation oh I realize that, it's the size they went with kind of looks, well, definitely looks out of place. I think their engineers moved the decimal point over a few too many places lol.
@Monkey_Snot you wouldn't care how ugly it is, if you got into a situation where it let you go back to your computer to make dumb comments after a rollover 😂
Calls zero turns and regular riding mowers robotic then starts talking about all the advanced features of the kabota which are things you would find on a robot
They are great mowers I had two g23 low dump ones when I ran my garden maintenance business
Nice Ian 👍🏼 cracking machines 👍🏼
Hi James, Great review now you won't be late for your tea, that all I need to know👍
Hopefully not, although I have just got home and it’s not ready and waiting for me 😉😂

Now that's a nice mower. 👍
My late step-dad had a Kubota tractor like used on a golf course and loved it.
Awe nice John! Hope you’re well sir 👍🏼

Thanks mate, the tyres sound a great addition 👍🏼
I love Kubota lawn tractors / Compact tractors. Super quality cut, best bagging and diesel engine so very fuel effecient.
Thanks Derra, that’s great feedback 👍🏼
I use a Kubota svt 35 it's 20 years old compact tractor with a major swift finish mower on the back it is still going strong good machine 😀
Awesome Anthony, thank you for sharing 👍🏼
Kubota makes great equipment. They pay my bills.
Always found Kubota's to be excellent machines!
We had a gr 1600 for 8 years it was a wreck when we chopped it in for an iseki 216 which is now 8 years old and apart from a few dents is as good as new, no comparison

Thanks Ash, certainly enjoyed this one 👍🏼

Compared to the Countax I use, that looks like a dream

Yeah for sure. Anyone who just wants to cut and drop to be fair 👍🏼

Hey Nev, thanks mate. You could quite comfortably cut 6” of think grass with this mower without putting undue stress on it.
How is this different from a normal compact tractor with a mid mower attachment?
This does not have linkage on the rear. So if you only need it for mowing, it makes it a lot more affordable 👍🏼

Lot of mower for the money hey Al 👍🏼
mulching is even better than discharge

The headlights look really old fashioned. Why not put the modern L series tractor LED lights on it?
Can ya tow with it ?
Ye you can if you put on a tow ball and depends what your towing
Yes, I believe you can get a bracket and tow hitch for it.
12 miles a hour! It could replace my van.
Yes you. Said it, if you don’t like a zero turn or a robotic then this is for you ie third in line. No point really!

It’s legislation on mowers over a certain weight. 500kg I think. Anything over and it has to have rops.
