Hmm, isn't it always in those stories about mole hunts that the guy who tells you there is a mole is the mole? Or the one leading the investigation is the mole? Therefore the chef and the Mayor are the moles :P
I think starting with sharpshooter is the best. Not only he has a high focus(accuracy) he also come with a shotgun (good accuracy weapon). Heavy drinker trait is also a good bonus, because it's easier to sober up.
Here's a quick tips.
Just hunt with a character with a high hunting skill preferably 15-20, you can hunt in the forest near faranis, you can also sell your game there.
Later when you find petshop event, buy a hunting dog, and stsrt raising your husbandry stat. Then start hunting again to sell and to keep some for food.
Another tips is to raise cooking also, because eating uncooked rations actually gives stress, it is also heavier. So it's recommended to cook probably half of you starting rations and keep the other half for trading or event.
My recommendation for food is game soup with mushroom. You can get mushroom from foraging, the game by hunting, and water by trade or producing it on your town. So it is recommended to go to starlight town to immediately set up the water production.
The price goes up if you buy a higher quantity? That's not how things work? Also, can I rename the crew? I cant bond with a game where my crew are called Runner and Worker.
