I have had the Ryzen 9 RTX 3070 variant of the R5 for about a week and it is a beast. I beat Guardians of the Galaxy last night and with everything on ultra settings, both ray retracing options to max and dlss set to quality, I was averaging around 110 FPS. Just make sure to flip the MUX switch in BIOS.
The mux switch is in the bios. It is labeled “enable hybrid mode” it should be set to disabled to ensure the best performance possible. To access the bios, press f6 as soon as the computer is turned on. The hybrid mode setting is on the second page.
Thanks I got an M15 R4 and wanted to use it for mining and was concern about the longetivity. You should be mining on that beast!! I use to game on PC or laptop but rather play with playstation becuase of the flexibility of controls versus keyboard but your a gamer. Good luck

ofcourse 5900 will be better than 5600 , Also Alienware is a bit costlier due to Brand name. but if you are going for 5900 go with 3070 or 3080 to compliment its power
yes its not as heavy as earlier models and easy to trave with. battery backup with maximum performance is hors, will be more if lightweight apps are used and not used to full potential. also an eye turner everywhere

U must display all gaming setting like graphics setting game fps u know wat i mean 😏 and u paste too much sticker man jst like college kids remove it man
performance wise ofcuiourse the 3070 would be better if you have heavy graphic usage and editing stuff, else for lighter work, it wont make that of a difference
@@gokulkarthik3317 Actually they perform neck to neck almost , ROG was a bit higher like if ALienware is 19 ROG is 20. but 2022 Alienware All AMD ones are much better , so i would suggest if you can wait a bit.

Not faced any over heating issue yet, even when gaming or editing videos in 4K. maybe because along with the cooling i have a cooling pad too

i have R5 and its cpu tempreture touch 100 c° in this case it lags also and runs hot..what i need to do ?even my laptoo is new under warrenty
make sure when you run the games, it runs on high performance mode. Also always use proper ventelation preferably a good quality cooling pad

Battery life for office work and UA-cam
batterylife is pretty good, it has a 90Watt hour battery that lasts 3.5 - 4 hours on max settings, and at moderate usage easily 5-6 hours
