Looks like not too heavy on the material but still turning out good product.
Baling hay with no beer is like not not having any wrap!!!
do you use cover edge?
H&G Land Management I went to edge to edge on my 468 and it stop doing it
Get a little hand torch and it’ll burn that stuff right off the rollers
It's so nice to turn the volume to the perfect level so I can hear what you have to say, and then it's awesome to have the music blairing 3 notches too high that my ears hurt on my Bluetooth. I didn't like my hearing anyways. Nice video otherwise
Love the videos guys! Keep the good work up. Us guys at Fort Hood love yalls videos!
I could see your breath at the start of the video, what would the moisture content on these bales be? Dewalt here and love it with the lock and lube.
How many acres y’all cut total?
I use the Milwaukee M 18 grease gun. It was a game changer on greasing. I have that lock lube grease for about 5 years only had to rebuild it once. Also have the longer one but I have more problems with it in the year or so I’ve had it.
Had a Lincoln liked it, but the batteries were junk on them. If you need some rain I'll send to ya'll. Cant seem to go more than 3 days without it here in TN.
How does that rake do on rough ground
When was the last time if ever you cleaned the brush on the knife and checked the knife for the proper clearance? If you have the right clearance so the net gets cut clean you won't have bad edges that fray and wrap around the rollers.
I have 2 Lincoln grease guns and have had good luck with them. Some people love them and some not. I just got a Milwaukee electric grease gun and gonna see how that works too. I have over 40 different pieces of machinery to maintain here at home so I go through a lot of grease. Just the excavator alone will use up 2 tubes of grease itself before using it for the day. Grease is your best friend along with frequent oil changes.
Hello H&G Land Management
I guess that you get no morning dew in New Braunfels, TX?
When a guy can go out & rake the hay while it's still tough from the morning dew & not shake off all the nutrient rich leaves on the hay.
You might not want to do this but this is a trick we have learned for getting the net rap off the roller if you get one of those miny torch lighters it melts the polyester net rap in seconds
How well does the baler pick up the flat hay in the middle that the rake misses? Do you have the pickup teeth into the ground?
Nice video, keep them coming. Question - how do you charge when you bale for someone else? By the bale, by the day?
What did that rake cost
Is it worth it in time and diesel
How much is your hay
Do a tour of your truck
How well does this setup do in the corners and on turns as far as leaving hay behind?
@@GolschHayFarms Yeah that makes the most sense and I don't know anyone that likes baling curves. Do you know if there are any rakes smaller then yours offered? I've got a design I'd like to build at somepoint where its just incorporated into the baler but that takes time I don't really have.
