Round Baling: First Bale

First bale for this brand new John Deere 460M and what a machine. We will give you are review of this baler at the end of harvest but so far we love it. What a machine so far it is. There's a lot to learn but what a difference green paint makes over the Massey red round balers. Here we start round balling at Ted's and have a major breakdown on the rakes. I never thought id have to go out of state, Oklahoma, for rake parts but here we are. And it all could have been avoided if it had been plowed and planted in a circle.

Sucks to tear up equipment, what could the farmer do to make it different?
Song dogs at night! Our have changed territories at least I haven't heard them in a while.
I was getting a house ready for final inspection and had worked deep into the night so I crashed on the floor, not sure what time of the night but a song dog tuned up under the room window caused me to levitate to a standing position!

He could plant and plow in a circle. It’s so rough I can’t cut it in a circle cause it’s so rough. We cut and bale in a circle to minimize going across the tracks. He chemical farms this so he never plows it. Just runs a planter and turns on the water.

That's the old story of the sprinkler track it ruins your equipment and their is equipment available to level the sprinkler tracks but farmers aren't bothered

What kind of tractor you were driving
