Hi from Northern Ontario Canada, love both versions of the podcasts. I listen to audio version at work and watch video at home. You have had some great guests already, the best one was sam and Andy. Although the first with AMC is still my favorite.
Absolutely the best, fun-looking video for riding a Harley I've seen yet The bike sounds good, the scenery is second to none and you are having a blast riding it. Great job Teapotone!
Finally a bike that suits your beard! Beautiful bike. I've had a dyna (hd) for 20 years, love it but you've hit the nail on the head, it's the one bike I will never sell but I have 3 other bikes I ride alot more.
It's always a feel-good time when someone who isn't American hears why people in America love putting loud pipes on their Harleys. And understands it because motorcycle is a universal language
Jesus Bruce, I've never seen you in such a good mood! Reminds me of the sport glide I test rode recently; I also thought to myself "This brings back the joy I remember from when I first started motorcycling". Ha Ha yeah I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed the Fatboy, and by how much I enjoy rising Harley’s period! They’re by no means fantastic bikes mechanically, they don’t handle particularly well compared to a lot of other bikes out there - but there’s just something about them that just makes me feel alive when I’m riding one 🤷♂️👍
I got a Fat Bob 114 as a second bike 2 years ago. It’s nice to have something different for just chilling. As you say, the feeling sitting on a HD with that rumble is addictive and everyone should give it a go. Definitely couldn’t live with it as my only bike though. I still need the thrill of my Tuono factory and recently added a 1250 GS Exclusive for long distance and when the weather gets colder.
Got me a Fat Bob 114 last year, first Harley, coming from a Speed Triple, I think you about nailed that, loads of fun, loads of noise, just a nice place to be
Enjoyed that Bruce. Podcast are great and stuff like this just makes me smile. End up starting work with a coffee and smile. Balanced view on the Harley. great to explore other types of bikes. Like you say, you might be surprised. I've bought a more of a sport tourer to try...not really 'in fashion' these days...which I thought would just take on longer tours vs my street triple...but...I quite like it....and didn't think I would like it quite as much. All the weight is on your back side on those cruisers, so I'd guess you'd just need to get used to it. Keep doing what you are doing!
Omg I took this fatboy out for 2 hours, it was awesome and then some ,,,, then I came across your vid ,,,I'm lovin it ,,,,national's, bloody brilliant my friend, I've watched it 3 times now 🤣.....thank you...I'm going to buy one
Reminds me of when I used to commute on my ktm supermoto there was a guy that had a fatboy and we used to have a tear up every now and again. His foot rests were VERY well ground down 😀
Dam it boy grinder of floor pans ! Nice review Other people never give the bike a chance . To scared to put it on the floor pan to ground grindIng with it. And they got on it with the shock set on 4 ,complained about the rough ride. The first thing I did um not technically the first thing , but the first thing I did myself .was change the seat . But the first thing that was done to it was I put the stage four on it. Which is head jugs pistons rings clutch pack bigger intake throttlebody Cam lifter Cam Springs ProTuner auto tuner.. and Acs slip on exhaust but once again I wanna thank you for doing a review that’s worthy of a review thank you!

Most podcasts I listen on the move but recently with Sam, that was a brew time to sit and watch. Keep them coming. You are like most people when it comes to Harleys, no idea about models etc but who cares when it purrs like that. I would love one, but the price and too many small niggles stop me. Maybe one day.
Great video Bruce with an honest no b.s review!! I'm still not sure if you liked riding that bike though!! Ha. Good to hear you're 'getting' the cruiser speed thing. That's what does it for me with my bobber. Love the sound of the bike & the boards scraping made me chuckle!! Re the podcasts, I listen to the audio then watch the vid version late at night when house is quiet. Keep em coming bud, but don't overload yourself. Awrabesht. 😉🏴👍
Mate, 11 mins in and you had me hooked to that sound, great audio experience especially with earphones. Re the calimoto issue, I think when you go to download the maps, it is seperated into countries ie Scotland, England etc so that should solve the no signal issues. Stay safe dude
I had a HD courtesy bike when my Buell XB12-R was in for one of it's regular recalls...(that's another story) and I think it was the same bike yer mate was riding in this video. I really enjoyed it although it was vastly different to the Buell in nature. Had it for a day and did 150 miles around Edinburgh and the Borders region on a sunny day. The sound as you say, on the over-run was epic! Totally changed my way of riding as it just wouldn't do the same as my sports bikes. Get yer kicks in a different way. Ended up taking the Buell round the Nurburgring for a few laps with mates and sold it to a guy who was going to ride it home to Croatia! (Hard seat) Good luck mate!
Tip for turning the Fat Boy for best results use counter steering techniques and you will discover a whole new bike that handles very well. I ride a 2019 114 Fat Boy. Give it a try and Enjoy the ride!
Great video - as usual. Don't feel bad about the "floorboards" from the post ride vid' , it looks like Harley factory left in a sacrificial nail :-) . It might have been the seating posture and/or the camera angle but I think I know where Harley got the name for this model (we all a different shape post lockdown and those brewtimes chats you shared involved more beer than PG tips - well they did in my household! Great channel and glad you are seeing some well deserved sponsor support.

Loving the content Bruce👍🏻 Fatboy is an absolute blast to rip around on, keep the reviews coming! And I’m loving all the podcast content and long form interviews 👍🏻👍🏻 I prefer to watch on UA-cam, as opposed to apple podcast. But both are equally amazing. Cheers 🍻
Many years ago I was reading "Cycle" magazines review of the Sportster. On commenting of the fun of revving the throttle at traffic lights, they made this comment: "In fact, throttle-blipping a Harley is such a kick in its self, that in a recent poll of 'Fun Things You Can Do By Yourself', it came in second, right after you-know-what!"
Great review mate😃👍🏻 one of the better Harley review out there in my opinion. The Fat Boy is a gorgeous bike. Loving the podcasts and i tend on listening to the first and the i watch them later on the ipad with a beer in hand. Keep up the good work buddy 😎🤘🏻🤘🏻🤙🏻
I’ve tried, I just can’t get on with them. Plus I keep seeing Fortnine’s video in my head 😏 Just realised, starts at £17.5k and one bloody front brake disc! Sod that, what a joke
I rode HD's for 25 years, they make fine bikes. No, they aren't the best bikes, but they do have a unique feel about them which no other brand really captures. Although Indian is VERY close with that feeling, the Challenger is an HD killer.
I absolutely agree, I think his production values and technical knowledge are truly superb, and he’s a likeable guy too. Best bike channel out there for me 👍
I have a 2019 114 FatBoy,I fitted a Stage 2 on it over winter and now its how it should be off the showroom floor. Always wanted a FatBoy since I was a kid seeing Terminator 2,at the tender age of 37 I have one parked in my garage and love it. By the way the black ones are the fastest😜 ground clearance is terrible as you found out,it handles like a boat but who cares except it for a two wheeled tractor and enjoy the ride.
My dream is to have a Harley, a Fatboy, but unfortunately I can't afford it, here in Brazil it costs $20,000 and it's impossible for me, unemployed, doing small jobs and supporting a family. I met a person here in Brazil who received it as a gift from an American businessman, he actually gave the value of the bike and he bought it, I found this attitude a dream, I watch videos about Fatboy every day and dream, today is the best I can go arriving by a Harley Davidson.
Listen to the podcasts, watch the vidpods and now bought the t shirt! 👍 I do prefer to watch the podcast personally, I find them more involving. Keep up the good work Bruce 👍
The problem with the Fat Boy is - not much ground clearance. A buddy has 2 of them. I ride a 2005 Dyna Wide Glide. It has more ground clearance and I have ground down the underside of the foot pegs. It does not have FAT tires. My rear tire is a 150. It has forward controls, which I need since I am 6' 5". Harleys work well for short people. I cut an inch off of the rear brake linkage to lower the brake pedal. Had to drill and tap the hole again but that was easy enough. Your butt got sore after an hour??? I did 1135 miles in one day and my butt never got sore and I have a stock seat on my wide glide (average speed was 85 MPH) The Fat Boy you rode is quiet compared to my 05 wide glide. Cool video dude :)
Tried one a few months ago and was totally hooked! The one i was after was taken be dealer for his personal bike! So i ended up buying a GS which as you know is an awesome machine. Now ive chance to get one at "the right money", Mrs Mad has discussed how unrealistic 2 bikes are given what we use the garage for. The majority of my riding is done solo, with the odd day out with Mrs Mad and 1 or 2 tours a year with mates, 5-700 mile weekends. Do you think its a realistic only bike?
Hi David, as much as I love the FatBoy - for ME it couldn't be my only bike to cover everything you'd said you use your bike for - but obviously you may be different. You can certainly ride the FatBoy two-up if you want, but I would have thought the GS would be a much more comfortable place for the pillion to be on tour? The FatBoy can handle but it'a a cruiser ultimately, and if all your mates are screaming around the bends on tour, then you will get left behind on the Harley. But again, it's your call bud, only you know how you ride and what you're happy with at the end of the day👍
@@teapotone of course I want both! But sneaking a Harley into the house is a lot harder than a new watch, the old, ach sure you mustn’t have noticed, I’ve had it for years, is a bit harder to get away with! 🤣
Ref the podcasts, good on you and I'm glad they're going well for you. I personally prefer video podcasts to audio, and as such I'd like normal videos to come on a separate day to podcast videos. That said though, audio only ones are good for working and commuting so there's benefits for all options. Keep up the good work
Great review and production Bruce, not a fan of the bike, but a fan of the channel, so I stuck it out 👍🏼 watched this down to your podcast about how you wasn’t too fussed about HD’s so I thought I’d stay open minded also 😀
I burst out laughing when you exited the tunnel, lifted the visor then,,,,, whistle! I have the same thing with my atlas 2.0 mercury, so much so, I call it Herbert, after a character in family guy 😂😂

My dream came true when 3 months ago I was able to buy a 2023 fatboy with stage 2. Dreams can come true 😮
A Scotsman on a Harley ...I like the voice sound...
Great vid..
Cheers 👍
Great content, brilliant machine! What us that route planning app you used?
Cheers Dan, it’s called Calimoto - there’s a link in the description 👍
Listen to the podcasts, watch the vidpods and now bought the t shirt! 👍
I do prefer to watch the podcast personally, I find them more involving.
Keep up the good work Bruce 👍
Cheers Simon, that’s good feedback bud, thank you 👍
V much enjoyed the interviews Hicky was great
It’s not till you ride a Harley that ...you get it!!
Nice review Bruce it sounds like a 1940s aeroplane
By the way I watch all the podcasts on your channel keep them up am loving them
The problem with the Fat Boy is - not much ground clearance.
I did 1135 miles in one day and my butt never got sore and I have a stock seat on my wide glide (average speed was 85 MPH)
The Fat Boy you rode is quiet compared to my 05 wide glide.
Cool video dude :)
Man I was squeaky bum time when the bike ran a bit wide at ~6mins 😂😂😂👍
Excellent review my friend.
Cheers Tony 🙏👍
😂👍
@@teapotone well ….. Far boy bought, I’ve promised to sell one in 12 months…. Gonna be an interesting year lol
Ha Ha brilliant! 👏😂👍
Ref the podcasts, good on you and I'm glad they're going well for you. I personally prefer video podcasts to audio, and as such I'd like normal videos to come on a separate day to podcast videos. That said though, audio only ones are good for working and commuting so there's benefits for all options. Keep up the good work
"Nationals" !!! Love it Bruce - and loving the Pod casts
Thanks Ian 👍
Great review and production Bruce, not a fan of the bike, but a fan of the channel, so I stuck it out 👍🏼 watched this down to your podcast about how you wasn’t too fussed about HD’s so I thought I’d stay open minded also 😀
Boys and their toys! 😃 Great video, really illustrates what the bike is for.
Cheers Buff 👍
Nice vid Bruce, enjoyed it almost as much as you! 👍
I burst out laughing when you exited the tunnel, lifted the visor then,,,,, whistle! I have the same thing with my atlas 2.0 mercury, so much so, I call it Herbert, after a character in family guy 😂😂
