I've watched a lot of bike video reviews, and I came away from my first of yours thinking it ranks up with the best of them. Too many miss the forest for the trees, spending all their time expounding on individual parts while letting the opportunity to describe what the bike is to experience pass by. You didn't. Moreover, you articulated it artfully. And I appreciate that.
Great review David, I really enjoyed it. Makes me feel even more happy about my recent 2021 Fat Boy (in Vivid Black) purchase. Like you, I love riding it and it's pretty cool too! I went with V&H Eliminator slip ons and the sound is just right for me. Thanks again, keep up the good work. Cheers
G'day from Nth Qld Dave. Great natural review as ever mate. I found the Sportglide more suited to myself, but that Fatboy look is iconic, thats for sure. Cheers mate.
Great review everything you mention was spot on and why we love them. I have a 2009) 1200 sportster. I've owned 14 bikes since 1977 this one I can ride hundreds of miles a day in comfort can't say that of the others.
Great review (again) Im a HD subscriber from UK- Have had two of these, a 2019 in blue and a 2020 30th Anniversary and everything you say about this bike seems spot on. Great looking, Great quality, Great ride. Cheers
I own a 2016 fatboy and i think its the best of all of them it came with a windshield i took it off hit the freeway came back home put the windshield back on. Left it on the bike ever since its got a racing cam with freedom exhaust. 110 motor black its awesome what i dont care for is the oversized rear tire on the 2021 model solo seat and the quietness make some noise let em know you are there just my opinion
Great review 👍. I had 107 Fatboy for a day and it was great. Only thing that I didn't like was driving at slow speed in the city n filtering the traffic. Do you think the twin cam Fatboy is easier to handle in that situations? I'm considering getting one. Fatboy or softail slim
@@BigDavesPlace thanks for the quick reply 👍👍. Please keep on making more reviews like that. Your quality of photography is the best, specially the night shots of the motorbike.
Really like these bikes, but im not happy with the build quality. I've seen a plenty of 2018 models with chrome forks pitting and even Willie G replacement parts also pitting. The older models 2007 up are perfect.
The main reason we don’t see many of Fat Boy on the road is: Fat Boy are only good on Straight Lines * Not made for Road you have to Turn \ Sharp Corners, never heard from any reviews where the riders aren’t complaining about handling The Tiers are too Flat Just like the original Sportster Roadster Tires Changing to the right Tiers makes it to a Much more enjoyable Ride - Not only in a Straight Line

Best review video I’ve ever seen. Great quality, editing and extremely informative. Well done 👍🏻

Thanks Andrew - Perfectly understandable - we all rate the Sportglide as the best 'all-round' H-D yet.

Great review! LOVE this bike!
Great review David, bought it last week here in the US 🇺🇸 Its awesome to just cruise around all day 😀
Love the review as a 2021 Fat Boy 114 owner 😁
Excellent review, thanks very much. 👍
Beautiful bike really nice review mate thanks 👍
Great video Dave, job well cone mate. Cheers
Thanks David. This bike or a road glide would be my choice. Interested in the comments and improvements you made between this one and the 2018 model
Love the Coremandel!!
great review

Thanks for the sub!
It's definitely a looker. I'm partial to the Slim and the now discontinued Deluxe myself.
Nice interesting review lovely pictures of bike..

The previous model looks a lot nicer than the new one! That looks like a breakout from behind !
She's a beauty mate, love the Ausie accent. Great review of a great bike.

Thanks - Really ... I think M8 is better in *every* situation. Slim handles much better though - With the 150 section rear.

Great video. But sir, please, wear a full wrap around helmet!
That big, bulbous headlight of the older versions of the Fat Boy would be reason enough for me to stick with the older models.
Don't own a car so for reasons of practicality I need a TriGlide but damn, I really want a FatBoy. 😭
Looked like a bit of a struggle to make a turn at one point (at 7 minutes into the video).

I enjoy riding mine, even though it is by far the worst handling bike I've ever ridden. The sound, even with a third party exhaust sounds weak.

The Tiers are too Flat
Just like the original Sportster Roadster Tires
Changing to the right Tiers makes it to a Much more enjoyable Ride - Not only in a Straight Line
I like how they made the head light myself its better
Fat boy is comfortable for about 1.5 hours of uninterupted drive, anything longer than that is punishment (just my experience).
What’s the difference between the 2021 and 2022 fat boy? Trying to decide which one to buy
