I’ve worked in construction most of my life and it’s extremely rare to see an employer encourage one of their employees to work towards going out on their own, not to mention loaning them money to get a start. You’ll be blessed greatly for that, awesome work!

Well its kinda sad, but sometimes people believe that they are creating best place for their employees. Very often it's a lie repeated 100 times. In my opinion it doesn't really matter if you hire a guy or you work with him as 2 separate businesses. And if employee is already thinking about starting something on their own they already made up their mind so you can either help him out, try to work together or watch him leave.
There's enough $$ for everyone. Plus he respects his work enough to TELL him he should do side jobs and eventually have his OWN business. And loan him $? MUCH RESPECT.
That’s amazing Ryan much respect to you. I hope Erik never forgets who helped em out in the future. As a Mexican we are very thankful and don’t forget never ever.
As part of the sale of the landscape company put a clause in the deal that your yard is cut for the rest of the season. That will give you time to find the mower you want and the winter the price of the mower will come down. Also it will give you a break and you will see first hand how they do handling the business you built up and sold to them. Just a thought! Your videos are great and I hope you and your crew stay safe and healthy!

A business owner that encourages his employee to start a business & lends money to him to buy a truck for side business. Now that’s awesome. Class act. 👍
I really appreciate how y’all did that border around the concrete. Looks awesome, lot more work involved, but it definitely stands apart from all of the other houses on the block. Keep up the great work sir, looking forward to seeing the next video Peace out y’all !!!

Ryan, I am a landscape/hardscape contractor. We have been using toro grandstands since the first model came out. They have really came a long way over the years and no major issues besides normal wear and tear. Our oldest unit has 2400 hours on it and I wouldn't buy anything else.

I ran my landscaping business for 3 years with 2 Badboy sitdowns and a Badboy stander. The stander was a deal when it first launched at $6800, and I bought the first one that made it to my old dealer, but I'm not sure what they run now. The lockdowns last year put me out of business and I had to sell all of my equipment, I did keep one of the 52" sitdowns though for my own place. I demo'ed a wright that a friend had on a 2-week demo, and despite all of the hype, I didn't like it much at all. The Torro stander I demoed was high on my list, but they were starting at $10k when I was looking. One of the main reasons I went with Badboy, was that my dealer stocked their "Fusion" blades, which have silicon carbide hard facing on the underside of the edge. Down here in the sandy half of South Carolina, the sand will eat a set of blades in a couple of days, to the point they are 3-inches shorter on each end. The fusion blades would last about 8-9 days of use with 2 sharpenings in that period. So while the fusion blades were more expensive, they would last about 4 times longer for me, which was worth it. I ran the grounds department at a small state school about 12 years ago, and we had a fleet of Skags, and on any given week about 1/4 of them would be broken down with a new issue. They were a few years old, but even new parts would break randomly. Maybe they got their act together as I do see a lot of the more heavy mowing commercial companies around here using them for what amounts to basically brush-hogging on a smaller scale.

I am 70 years old and disabled but never > my wildest imagination would I believe I would be watching concrete being poured and shaped for entertainment! You do amazing and beautiful work! I live in an old brick house in Columbus GA and wish I could afford to pay you to pave a driveway in my house and new walkway at my house stained and patterned to look like brick! If anyone could do it it would be you guys but, unfortunately, my only income is my social security disability! If I ever win a lottery, I will be in touch because my house could really look like a perfect picture of an English cottage! I believe there is nothing you can't do with concrete! Hey Ryan I am 60 went from 180 at 25 years old to 245 at least three times in my life. Two years ago I cut out sugar all together and under 20 carbs a day.only took six months or so to get to 185 and have maintained that for over a year. After a lifetime of yo yo dieting I realized to stay thin I needed a lifestyle change, no candy, snackfood etc. It’s not as difficult as it sounds, just need six deer a year to make jerky for snacking! Enjoy your videos. Good content, but I believe your success is mostly due to your moral and spiritual standards. No cursing, arguing etc. The kind of content lots of people want to see. Toro and gravely are my favorite! As a person who does not own a landscaping company but worked for a large scale Parkdistrict I would defiantly say those are my two favorite mowers to use. She and or ride on they where both great! Keep up the awesome videos!

Wow I've never seen a boss support a worker to start his own business wish my boss had a heart nearly close as yours im saving as much as I can making 16 an hour to save up and start my own power wash company and Ryan you really been a giant inspiration in me taking that step for real Im 31 and I've been searching my.whole life for an answer to become a owner of something but never knew what skills I could master and now pressure washing for 4 years I realized how much I love it and want to do it for the rest of my life if I can and if I ever get any where close to your success with your business I promise to my self to be selfless as you if I ever have hard working employees with a dream that i can possibly support becasue I've never seen no one do it and coming from nothing the absolute bottom i know how it feels living check by check your whole life and at some point you realize thats not realistic life style i just need opportunity and I can thank you for giving me that motivation to create this opportunity for my self 🙏 God willing ill get there soon ! Thnx again I almost want to call my company victory style!

Congratulations on 100k! Glad to say I joined around 75k & have not been disappointed. Hard work is hard work. I like what your crew does, glad you are willing to help almost anyone, as long as they're willing to learn. You are definitely putting a smile on peoples faces including mine.
Your face at Daryl’s “ those are small” comment is priceless 🤣
I was blown away with the fact that you borrowed Erik some $ to help him move ahead in life and encouraging him to keep learning so he can one day have his own business. That is an amazing gesture. It is no surprise why your channel has blown up to 100k. Congrats on your 100k subscribers, and here's to the next milestone of 1 million subs!
Mower guys didn't seem to happy to be working lmao Cheer up!!
Your videos are really inspiring and I love your videos and I watch your videos all day nonstop
I'd offer them 9500 for the scagg...mowin seasons comin to an end and they don't make money sittin in the showroom!
Not at town and country they well sit on it for that price. They just don’t move on there price’s bought 4 mowers from them needed a new one would not move at all found someone who had what I wanted and I stopped buying from town and country
I run a Ferris Z2 with the 25hp Kawasaki. The machine is a beast. I would definitely recommend looking into it and the cut is phenomenal. All my customers love the stripes it lays
Big ups to Ryan for lookin out for Eric 🔥🔥🙏🙏 that good karma will bless your family
That's why you are a very blessed man Ryan always looking out for your friends
I noticed how slowly you walked pass the donuts at the coffee shop.
I've been watching the channel everyday for about 2 weeks now. Love the content. Ryan and the crew seem like some great guys!! EASY MONEY
Out of all the mower brands you pointed out all ever ran a scag, those v-rides cut really nice but I've seen some good work done by the Toro's too
I tuna Ferris and love it
Run
Erik should be really grateful..and you are a great boss !!
Ryan: "Daryl literally didn't do a single thing today... Daryl what do you think about that??"
Daryl: "eaaassy money"
I lost it when I heard him say that right to the boss man 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yo same 🤣😂
Ryan hats off to you for helping that young man on his journey to becoming his own boss
Hey Ryan, try 2” painters tape on your edges. You can hold the plastic down with that, and its so easy to take off after.
Tape sticking to concrete to put it as Ryan would "is NOT the greatest".
I use to be able to do so much for myself-- painting rooms, put in a zoysia lawn from seed, gardening! Now I am doing good to make a sandwich!
I love how you have to micromanage everyone, except for bugs 😂
Because bugs is the man 💪🏼
Nobody tells the bugs nothing
God bless you and your family.
The way Darrel said "those are small" as me dying.
Toro and gravely are my favorite! As a person who does not own a landscaping company but worked for a large scale Parkdistrict I would defiantly say those are my two favorite mowers to use. She and or ride on they where both great! Keep up the awesome videos!
What was Daryl Jr thinking trying to get away without saying "yessir"? lol thats routine for this crew!
Ryan total respect, you set the standard how to treat your workers. My ethos is treat people the way you like to be treated but also not let people treat you like a moron.
"Your dad looks like he's pulling up for a drive by" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have to say it again congratulations to the whole crew 100,000 baby that's awesome.
Love the longer videos. These could be an hour haha
Could any understand what darryl jr. was saying in the middle of the video???
He was thanking everyone for subscribing and hitting 100,000 k.
Man I love jr. He has a huge heart. Loved the way he stuck up for Erik lol
