You'll get more mobility on your flicks by letting go of W. Holding forward in dash reduces your mobility and means you can't take advantage of a&d to slow your movement to get tighter on some loops
Can confirm that on controller your actual flick cannot exceed 90 degrees. After examining the clip you showed in slow motion he preturned a little and flicked about 90 degrees and caught the survivors hitbox which pulled his camera a bit more.
I have 2 questions so if you could help me would be appreciated: 1. Do you flick with your wrist or your whole arm, is there even a difference? 2. Often when I try to 180 I accidentally hit a wall or rock, is it just skill issue? Do you have any tips?
Here comes the real toughness of Oni flicks :) The mechanics of it is not that hard, but learning the distance and timings and degrees around EVERY loop in the game and with any speed addon or without them, (the all different in terms of first noted parameters), is a whole science. Same as blights learning all bubm/slide places, we learn all flicks places. Also during the flick you will learn to react and readjust your flick according to surv dodging, because during flick you can turn it in every direction mid process.

no matter how many times I try I can't get it ever not even once idk what i'm doing wrong.. When I do the slow 180 i sometimes get it kinda but even then it's really slow and it's not in one motion like you. But the instaflick even with a DPI Switch i just can't ever get it idk why 😭
Hey man, I play on PS and have mained Oni for a long time. Can't do the 180 unfortunately, I would hope you're right but in my experience it doesn't work and believe me I've tried it many many times in custom matches

There are no number one Oni. Around of 10-15 mains are playing on same level, i hope that you dont speak about that cringelord kid vistuis, he plays exactly the same as few other content creating Oni mains such as lipy or odin or Stefa and others

skill issue for 2. Just need to get the feeling down to instinct and for 1 it's just whatever is more comfortable for you

Actually it’s not a 180 for console. That’s just a normal 90, it’s look beyond it because the console Oni looked up. But no that’s just a normal 90
