Borderless full screen is known to add latency and decrease fps It's better to use the normal/default full screen, it usually crashes only if your CPU is overload with other applications running in the background or low ram availablity
@VR00100 honestly in dbd the latency penalty is so minimal (and ur capped to 120fps anyways) that you won't notice it, if it was a shooter then sure, but if borderless stops games from crashing at a VERY MINIMAL latency penalty then I'd rather play borderless i know in bo6 borderless adds too much latency which is noticeable, but its a non-factor in dbd

it is in my discord :3
Does this work for Console too?
anything that requires pc settings doesn't, though u can change ur tv settings to mimic reshade if u really want to
Should be banned
bhvr have said its okay to use filters, and if they ever end up preventing u from playing the game with reshade installed, people will just start using monitor settings for the same result, if anything allowing reshade just makes it more accessible and fair
-dx12 makes my game crash on start up :(
then don't use it obviously! i think some really old gpu's cant use dx12, or maybe it was a old windows thing, i honestly forgot lol
I couldn’t find config
make sure you're in appdata/local/deadbydaylight and not where u have dbd installed
@@Nea7x ok thanks
bro waarom zeg je die nummers zo snel...
after i install reshade and open dbd again it just crashes and says EXEPTIOON_ACCESS_VIOLATION. help pls
try an older version of reshade
you may of installed it wrong. if you do the version not meant for mp games it can mess it up
can I get banned because of this reshade? Someone please answer
no its not bannable as its whitelisted in EAC and bhvr said its ok on a reddit ama earlier this year
@@Nea7x thx
Still too laggy cause the patch broke the game lol
thats desync not fps xdd
why tf do u need 5 tb of storage
making videos means needing hella storage for recordings and music
shirtless myers folder
that too
Technically cheating
bhvr said its okay so technically not but u want it to be in your magical little world
@@Nea7x is just my opinion that’s all , u don’t need to be aggressive
just stating the obvious
@@ako_udagavavrc7633I read his comment multiple times and no part of it was I thinking it was aggressive. How’d it come off that way to you?
“ competitive “ and “ DBD “ DO NOT go together lmfao
im just the messenger 🤷♀️
Still can give you some advantage, and there’s comp players
4:26 is outright cheating btw
u get the same thing by just setting your game on low, is playing on low settings cheating now???
How about you people play for fun not for tryhard et a life
its fun to challenge yourself in games, if you don't like that, consider animal crossing or something
@@Nea7x Thats a good point G my bad
Reshade should be considered a cheat. Since it literally lets you see in darker games much easier
Bhvr has specifically said it's allowed
bhvr approved filters
BHVR themselves said it's literally not a cheat, and fine to use.
should i be banned for having a higher refresh rate monitor too cus i can see more frames? lmao
Dude, you won't win in this topic
Ban peoples that have more fps than me
Ban peoples that use M/K because i'm on controler
Ban peoples that can use filters ((everyone can except if you play on a CRT TV lol) i can change brightness and saturation on my +10 years old Phillips tv 💀))
Ban peoples that uses a mechanical keyboard instead of a membrane one
Ban peoples that have idk a better gaming chair so they have more comfort than me
Ban peoples that put a dot on they're screen or have one directly integrated into their screen
Ban peoples that have a large mouse pad and therefore more space
Ban peoples that doesn't have disabilities irl
Ban peoples that doesn't play on their TV speakers
...
all these things even the insignificant one are linked to an advantage over others (and i must forget many) so you won't win on this bs rhetoric (my game is dark so yours should be)
Is that a trans flag on your profile?
yes :3
@@Nea7x nice, glad that I got it right lol, and great video, It helped me a lot, thanks!
Dark blurry? Thats how it’s supposed to be... bright? Clear?😂 def not an advantage and cheating, cringe compy compy wannabe bot
It's stated by BHVR itself that it is not cheating in any way, be a cry baby elsewhere LMFAO
Of course a console play would be that butthurt by simple BRIGHTNESS shade
filters are allowed by bhvr so why wouldn't i use them to make the game look clearer and brighter
god forbid bro tries to make the game look better
the game ugly af and even bhvr allowed filters
1:13 but my games looks really bad without it on, see-through hair, jagged cloths, etc…
hey listen its a competitive settings video not a make your game look as good as possible video
@@Nea7x yeah, ik. I’m just saying I haven’t ever noticed any issues with TAA other than it improving visual fidelity. No ghosting or frame skips
@aidan_ish2447 if u play on a higher resolution the blurriness of TAA is less noticeable, as well as higher framerates, but since dbd is capped at 120 its more noticeable for me
@@Nea7xI play in 900p as I play on a toaster :)
