WOW I am SO HAPPY youtube recommended this video. You are AWESOME, dude.... and this video is extremely well made! I'm only a few minutes in and already so stoked that I am leaving this comment rn. This a super practical, informational & entertaining video.
I got into paragliding after randomly seeing a vov biv video and always wanted to do it (my dream was to hit the Rockies here in the U.S.) but a brain injury and having a kid have pretty much ended those dreams. Im currently a P3 pilot and made it to Turkiye for an SIV course with Theo deblic last year, so i at least got to fly overseas once and made it to the paragliding Mecca, so to speak. I dreambof getting back in the skies one day so thank you for sharing this video for tjose of us who can no longer do it! Love from Portland, Oregon!
This is so awesome. Never knew this is a thing. I've only seen people do short one night camping trip with paramotors. To do this on glider and with so much gear is just amazing to me. This would be something I'd love to do. Combining two things I like, camping and flying :)
What a great Video! Well explained and all the imprtant information in there. From now on I will recommend your video to everyone who asks me how to do volbiv.
This just got recommended to me. As someone who's about to learn solo flying and aiming to do hike and fly. This was super helpful. If you are still in Bir would love to catch up with you. Subscribe. Keep flying. :)
Hi great video! one question.. maybe I missed it.. but whats the weight you're carrying? and the size of the wing? will try the gloves advice! thank you!!
you didn't miss it, and this is a great question: the wing load can be an issue and put you out of the weight range of the canopy. I'm flying a savage M-L which has a 95-115kg range. I'm a bit more than 90kg naked so I was most likely out of the range when fully packed of food and water. This is something to take in consideration especially when you gonna top land in altitude.
Awesome, thanks for the advice. I passed by Solang during the vol biv. I found Bara Bhangal on google map but it doesn’t show how to access. Can you drive there? And what about Keylong?
@@SatoriFactoryjust fly behind barot and cross thamsar pass while paragliding you'll reach bara bhangal. Yes you can't drive there the easiest way to go there is by flying
Excellent, but ditch the line-catching, helmet-mounted, ego-cam and added risk of flying, illegally, in clouds. Otherwise your decision making/equipment selection was great. Feel the buzz that you were gifted by the Gods!

@@SatoriFactory Thanks for the reply! I was trying to figure it ,specially when you carry water.. I reckon top landings are fast! 😅
Hi! Nice video. Which under liner did you choose from the heat company?
The polartec
Great advice! Thanks a lot! Whats the name of the alien-goggles?!? ;-)
Fluga
Does anyone know the model of the glasses?
Could have used them in a vol biv in the alps, hope I can get my hands on some before next spring
Check flugasports.com
Next time go to bara bhangal in October end or solang

And what about Keylong?
@@SatoriFactory Bara bhangal is the name of a peak, from Bir it's 3-4 day trek. No roads there. Keylong you can reach by road through manali
