  • Was a fun couple of days flying in the South of France, first time in the area. The second day was a much better day for flying, some people posting some pretty massive flights, unfortunately wasn't such a cracker for me but was still a fun adventure!
    Apologies in advance to all the French people out there for my pronunciation, I'm very English.
    I was flying the Ozone Zeolite GT and BV1 harness, check them out here:

    No more cold hands at 10 grand.

    I use Ayvri for track log visualisation:

    Skysight is my go to forecast:

    I attach the camera to the Carabiner with this:

    You landed opposite Aerogliss in St Andre. The owners came out to NZ in the early 90s with pgs and we took them to Ahuriri. Francois got to over 10k on Magic - which might have been a record for a pg at the time - then landed at the bottom and caught a huge trout which we had for Xmas dinner next day ☺

    Maybe not what you had planned but great fun kicking around with mates. Loving seeing some new territory, but need to look at a map now to figure it out. All new terrain to more than just you so thanks for the Google fly over. Excellent for orientation

    Awesome video as always! Is the 360 camera mounted to the carabiner? Is the mount commercial or custom-made? Thanks!

      Let me know if that doesn't work.

    Hey Ben 👋 Just trying to figure out how you connect the side camera. It looks like a telescopic monopod connected to a swivel, which then clamps onto your riser? How do you find that setup? Which ones did you get? Thanks again for your channel!

      Hey! Thanks!! I use a "small rig clamp mount" (link in the description) to attach to the carabiner and the invisible selfie stick to the camera!

    Hey Ben, love these videos! One bit of feedback: the volume (your voice) is quite a bit louder when you're flying vs when you do voiceover. Makes it so I'm constantly changing volume.

    Title's missing an "e" at Alpes and has a redundant "s" in André :D

    Nice flying and video's. But looks like a horrible harnas.

      Thanks!! I actually really like it, it’s super comfortable and has all the functionality that I need for bivvy flying!

    • @mathieuwillaert3022
      @mathieuwillaert3022 Рік тому

      @@BenjaminKellett Ok I am not speaking about the functionality. But about the stability of your harnas. In turbulent conditions. You are pitching in your harnas and you head isn't stable anymore. I've already had the same experience in the past and tried so many harnesses. I can tell you that for everybody it is different, but to keep you head stable in turbulent air is important. With shifting your weight more to the front or back you can do a lot. enjoy and many safe flight. I can't wait for the nxt vid. cheerz
