Egyptian women are one of the strong women in the world, they don't leave their men to feed the family alone but they work together with their husbands to provide the family need.
Egyptian women are hard working women I've ever seen otherwise may almighty father God in heaven protect them and bless them to live long life with their children's. Am student in Cairo university from South Sudan and I love Egyptian people.
Ameen and yes. This is true i felt the same
I've been to Egypt and believe it or not, those vegetables are so fresh! And even they sell in the streets, it's still taste really good . I will definitely go back there again and again. ..

Thank you 🇪🇬❤️
You going back for vegetables 🌶 ? Funny 😁 has
Poverty has not stopped them from leading a dignified and independent life. They are honest people taking care of their families.

is a hard life this woman never laugh have no fun in life, they work hard just to get by, i lived in Cairo before, I pray the woman get all the respect they deserve
Marisailuminada yes very hard I grow up in Aswãn
Marisailuminad: all women that have children work hard to raise them; all their fun and strength comes from that. There are women like that in every country. My mother did that in Italy and America. Such women are liberated before time and are not afraid of any men that try to interfere with them. Some years ago in Cairo during a demonstration Egyptian men attacked an American woman journalist, the Egyptian women around her defended the American journalist by attacking the cairo's men. Long leave women the world over.
Claudio Saltara I’m wondering if while living in poverty bringing less children into poverty might actually be the wisest choice. 7-8 children and not being able to get ahead. It’s not hard to see a problem. Too many children and not enough birth control.
@@trishayamada807 egypt wait you
@Dragostea Din Tei From that documentary, you see that they still do.
Selling vegetables better than begging
TrucketteTV MsMac you know what it is! I bet that they can live with it. Lower middle class I guess
I respect theses sister my egypt mother's and daughters
Yes u r right...it could be propagate in India....Burqa clad women could sell vegetables like Hindu women instead begging on street and our Hindu brothers hate them unknowingly....
TrucketteTV MsMac 100%
Yes. At least, these women have a job, they have family, they have a house. Not begging, not sleep on streets. btw, Respect to these women so much! Give them so much healthy.

Big Salute to these hard working ladies.....from Pakistan..
Respect, good wishes, love and appreciation from Pakistan. May Allah bless the poors
I love Egypt and it’s people, life is very hard for most Egyptians, they deserve better, but things would be so much better with less children.
crazy 7/8 children and you have no money....
Corruption disease turned them to poor
More people is better leave us alone
It happens in south America as well. Both have faiths that tend to look at any children given to you as God's will for you (Egypt being Muslim and most of South America being Catholic) Meaning birth control and western concepts of "family planning" are not really a thing traditionally. So you can easily end up with 6 or 7 kids over a lifetime.
It's not a bad thing per say. It is a cultural difference. A different perspective. The world is made of them and we would do good to understand them.
We're all stuck on this rock hurling through space together.
Respect to these women who do back breaking work, Salute!
My mom is also a seller like them..That's how we earn our living.Respect for the mothers
I’d marry 2 of these women and young ones to have more babies, move them to another location and take care of their families, as a Muslim man, that sees the benefit of marriage, they would be taken care of.. only condition… must learn the religion
All the sellers are admirably canny and shrewd, but seemingly with a heart. The most memorable for me is the one who says, about everyone asking for lower prices than she quotes (at 22:33), "This is business: bargaining and headaches!" What a great line! May prosperity find them whatever they do.
This women deserve alot of respect.. xx
"she works to help me support our family"
No, dude. She supports the family. She is the one doing 95% of the work and you are setting back coasting.
She does the work outside the home. She does the work inside the home.
She is the provider of all things.
She has provided the children
She has provided the child care
She has provided the money to pay for a shelter and education for the children and you.
This dude has no shame.
No wonder there society is in such bad shape. All the men do is create costs.
You can't have a good society when it is full of unproductive and worthless men.
The proper management of human male capital is what makes or breaks a society.
This is a great example of the consequences when men and boys are improperly managed and allowed to do what they want to do instead of what they should be doing.
So well said
Right. 🤐🤐
Amen. And my own comment. This is what happens when women don't have access to birth control. More children then families can properly care for, and it's the women and children that suffer for it.
Absolutely ,,correct!!she went to college and finished then back to market where she struggle and to have good future must she past all hindrances and when done everythng hardwork,,more responsibility to her instead of parents who will carry for entire family needs, she bear it all the burden...narrow minded ,selfish and greedy exist in any country in this generation...shame on u mister(father)...dont give birth and birth which is beyond the limitation and capacity of ur ability to survive whole family,,it will be haram to look ur children suffer,,i am filipino muslim but i dont agree this kind of mentality of human...
That is so western paradigm bullshit. If it's that good why is the USA in a state of anarchy. Everyone complained about Saddam Hussein but Donald Trump is worse.

Helen E Doesn't it just. I don't see a point in it
Being a human in egypt is very hard... Money is a big problem we love egypt but economics stress people out
Yes, gender inequality in Egypt is a big issue, all thanks to the Islamic regime. If women don’t wear hijab, they risk being harassed or even killed if they’re unlucky.

Wow! Women work so hard! This was one of the most interesting docs I've watched in a long time! Blessings to you all! May you not have to work so hard for the rest of your lives!
I was in Egypt in the 1960s and looking at it now, it looks further back in time and has not moved forward, especially the way the women dress.
kpzcbttp poverty is the reason
@Angus Lee that's not bad to muslim woman to wear
tarin tarin I hate when some screw up people try to impose on me as woman what to wear, I think no human been has the right to criticize the dress of these women, they are happy with the way they dress and this should be respected world wide.
Reducing a woman's freedom to clothing is disrespecting her.
woman is free when she makes choices that are inalienable for her.
Thanks to Egypt's modernisation programme, the young men left the countryside for the city, to go and work in offices; hence, nobody was left to work in agriculture; hence the countryside became impoverished, and Egypt has to import wheat and other things. (Passing this point on from an Egyptian scholar). So: you can thank modernisation for making Egypt move further back in time.
Interesting to read some comments and see how women are seen as the ones who should take care of the children and men should provide for the family - it is just so ancient-thinking.
Here in Europe, normal thing women work the same as men. Women are strong and independent - equality.
Anyway, it is incredible how hardworking these women are. Stay strong!
When i saw the first old mom i remember my own mother she was dead 2006 may allah grant her jannah and all muslim umah hats off these moms real hardworkers
