Great info! Going to have to check my Frontrunner water can ASAP. I used it twice last fall, all was good but never did the leak test on its side or check the threads.
I just saw a poor review of the IronMan 4x4 version of the same can - Complaint, course threads made it leak from the cap constantly. Must be a widespread problem from the manufacturer. Front Runner was great to me though. They just need to take the manufacturer to task.
had two of by kids backpacks fail. The water bottle pockets/nets of the Recon failed and ripped after roughly 6-9 month. The North Face, after ~5wks, sent me a letter saying that this is Normal wear and tear and not covered under warranty. We paid more for the backpacks hoping that we get a Quality product and that it would last longer; unfortunately that was not the case. Actually some of the Backpacks from Lands Ends lasted my daughters all through Highschool. No more North Face for me if they can’t stand behind the product.
