Every time I watch this tears run down my cheeks , he was the Best Player I've ever seen . I hope you have risen in Glory George in Heaven like you did here on Earth, I love you RIP GB
Fast, could dribble, could kick a ball left foot or right foot, could tackle and take a tackle, good in the air and never injured. Priceless in today's game. RIP George.
If George was playing now , you would have to start the bidding at £100m - and then some - if you wanted to buy him . The best British player , and arguably , European player , of all time . When George Best was on song , there was no one to touch him .
A 100 million for his T-shirts????? If that little diving prick cost 200 then Georgie will surely be worth about 600 million with all that marketable looks as well.
I remember watching His Funeral here in Ireland and being amazed that My Aunt had been A welcomed visitor in His Mother and Fathers Home. Ireland stood still that day, Mr George Best was Home, Sadly for His Funeral Procession from Stormount. May GOD let this Beautiful Man know The Unconditional Love, Acceptance and Forgiveness that He didn't know in this Life. R.I.P. George Best 🙏
George had wonderful balance and a quick football brain. I used to watch him every other week and worshipped him. Towards the end at United on occasions he didnt seem interested, perhaps the drink had taken over. Possibly if United had renewed the team and signed players who were available such as Frank Worthington, Malcolm McDonald, Alan Clarke etc and appointed a strong manager George might have maintained or regained his enthusiasm? He could have done a Giggs and played on well into his thirties dropping into midfield using his brain.
but He played well at Fulham and at USA. furthermore was United poorly management whom was relegated, not George. They tried to that time puts supporters and press / mags against George, but United take several long years to become great again. meanwhile Best was still playing so good at Scotish soccer, at Fulham, at Australia, at USA. unfortunately He never played here in Brazil, would surely had been great if He would played as for example at Maracanã stadium or so.
Tavy@ when that song came on and it showed you george playing it was enough to bring you to tears! What a player this was and when he finally left us it was enough to close your eyes and remember the best of him! Rip george xXx
Frank Mc Lintock a truly great footballer,a truly great captain, but above all,a truly great man. Good on you Frank, from a diehard Manchester United fan.
You can hear his sincere grief in his voice. As you say, a great footballer, a great skipper, but above all a truly great man. God bless you Frank - you're a wonderful guy.
“I spent my money on birds, booze and fast cars…. The rest I just squandered”… legend! My dad loved George Best and was a big Man Utd fan back in the sixties but fell out of love with the game when the money took over As he said it
Messi is the only player that comes close to Bestie, but, until messi goes out til 3am drinking, then rocks up and scores a hat trick on a field of mud, he can never be compared to Georgie Best! Hero.
Jack Grealish 100 million what would BEST be worth. great memories. Best said remember me for the football. The Greatest footballer ever. Football legend. Remember him playing against Scotland in 1967 at Windsor park a match now headed Best V Scotland 1967 he just tore the apart that great day. Another one was the disallowed goal v banks another game i was at. would that goal have been given today with VAR. He had indeed the perfect name BEST
I often asked my dad as a kid who the best player was. Pele, Zico, Maradona, you know the usual suspects in the early 80s and he always said George Best. I didn't understand what he was talking about as there was no UA-cam back then.
after watching hours of match footage of GB I think people had become spoiled by his brilliance & if he wasn't tearing a team apart or scoring 6 in one match commentators were disappointed & began saying we haven't seen much of GB or he hasn't been much involved when in fact he HAD been involved as much as say Law or Charlton. He was involved in many of the goals &was behind many of the forays into the pen area. Unfortunately the team wasn't rebuilt & was heading for relegation. His brilliance probably kept them up for years

George was the greatest footballer ever, no one has even come close. he had it all very sad day when he died.
Lived life to the full. Tremendous player.
God rest. Brilliant player. They don't make them any more. Pure class!!

"Absolutely"
Brilliant haha

Messi and also Garrincha in his prime.
What about Tom Finney?

Footballer .
Great Bestie - Great Simon and Garfunkel
Marvellous player George he was playing on ploughed fields these players now playin on Carpets ❤
I loved it when he was one on one with the keeper, one result. , ball in net.
My pride and joy is my George best tattoo and he played for Edinburgh's finest Hibernian fc
Have you read the book " when George came to Edinburgh ?" Well worth finding a copy as it tells you about the people who met George when he was there.
Best of the best of the best
He was actually a straight A student in high school
Saw this. Clicked on it. An alcohol ad came up. 🤬
George looks knackered
george best was a glass full kind of guy 😋
......but it was soon empty
He rode the fouls. No diving like nowadays.🇦🇺
Imagine Best under Sir Alex! Holy Fuck 🔥
A footballer from the gods
Sad so few comments.
lesson for the kids , dont drink
No way pal. Beckham and Ronaldo wouldn't lace Besties boots. Ferguson was many things, but he wasn't stupid.
Fergie ended up going through the exact same thing with Beckham and Rooney as Busby did with Best
unfortunately he loved drink more than life.......what a bloody waste of talent
Pele' said he was the best.
Frank still alive
Fergie would have sold George like he did with Beckham and Ronaldo
Too much bin juice
Best was the GOAT before Messi was born, one of if not the greatest of all time!
