EVs in Malaysia are just a lifestyle choice and not really doing anything much for the environment. You only have to look at the state of public transport in Malaysia, the lack of charging infrastructure on the highways and rural areas, and the complete lack of control for phasing out IC cars. For instance, a while ago, Perodua introduced a strip-down version of the Axia for RM20k to encourage Malaysians to upgrade from motorbikes to cars which spews out more pollution. So, what is the point of all these EVs and so-called push for a better environment. Classic Malaysian thinking, say and do what thing with one hand, but negate that with the other hand!
A 10 year old Toyota Prius is now able to be refurbished with 2nd hand battery at yourlocal workshop. So old EV in 10 years time with depleted battery how? Worthless I guess 😂

Get a hybrid or PHEV, cuz the decision by authorities is also "hybrided"...
