@@LippyTG it's also great because one of the buttons are set to take screenshots, and it's pretty fun to use the feature and see what you got on the screenshots menu, though i guess it's not that important for someone who's recording haha

btw, maybe with some extreme optimization tricks could be done, (which isn't true for this modpack as it uses optifine) but a ps1 could never run this, the xbox 360 struggles to run the ocean update that it was left on.

I don't like this mod very much. .__.
I mean it looks nice with all the ps1 effects, but why putting analog horror on a mods literally call it it self, "Minecraft PS1 Editon" but i think i did't play it... i could call it "Minecraft PS1 Editon but with anal horror and all the stupid jumpscears and ouuhoo! spooky stuff" the mod. :)

@@Mr-WillsonXp My gripe with it was that it didn't really lean into the hidden horror of playing the old/nostalgic versions of minecraft. Like the alpha version for example. Sure, it gave us Herobrine and some of the original textures and the low render distance. But where's the glitches? The chunk errors? The liminal space of it all? Like the glitch where you suddenly hear the walking sound effect coming up behind you. Or moments where some of the terrain wouldn't fully load. I know the version of minecraft this person is playing is more recent/current so its alot more polished and wouldn't have those glitches and bugs but atleast make it a feature in the mod. Maybe they are not scary on its own but with the right atmosphere, it could fill you up with enough paranoria that maybe, just maybe, there's something wrong with your game. There was actually this bizarre chunk error glitch in the alpha version where if you built something in a different minecraft world and started a new save, whatever you built will transfer into the new world (i actually learned about this in an hour long video about an old minecraft mystery about someone finding a house that they clearly didn't built themselves not sure if you seen it too). But thats what i mean, something like that. like the player should've come across a house or base, not in ruins but a pefectly built base, items and all. And the unnerving feeling that comes with it. We should've gotten something like that but instead we got the cliched static, jumpscares, and spoopy herobrine sightings. And while those can be scary, it doesn't ring true to the true horror of minecraft.
Tl;dr, The mod should've leaned in on the hidden horror of playing the old versions of minecraft (like the alpha version) and it didn't
@@greenbird6435 I like the points you give that minecraft has hidden horror. that make it special and how minecraft oid versions, had glitches that could happen at any moment and that vibe makes you that you are not alone on your private world, thats why herobrine was made because of a uncanny glitch.
Note here: i never see a minecraft critic that critics minecraft mods :)

I didn't do anything differently when launching the game, I just opened and played the modpack from Curseforge normally and everything worked for me.

I don't fully remember but I think I meant the game's hotbar icon and stuff was reskinned to look like an emulator but it was still technically just a modpack.
