Great to see some more footage of the Interceptor. This one looks and sounds exactly as it should, plus a bigger wheelspin. Still my favourite movie car of all time. Brilliant effort!
This is definitely a awesome fan made short film about Max and his adventures after Mad Max and before The Road Warrior. I wish there was a HD or 4K version. But still top notch at 360p
Love it! I remember watching the trailer in 1980? When the first Mad Max with Mel aired. It was awesome! Loved these movies! Great story & loved the ending! The Guy playing Max did a excellent job!
Really wasn't expecting such a quality little film. A great job to all those involved. I especially like the radio broadcasts adding to the atmosphere, particularly at the end with the announcement of a code black, signalling the end of MFP.
I'm actually listening to the audio books at the moment, just finished the original over the weekend, love this period of the series, with the Armalite gangs... Great fill in for between movies...
this makes the dogs loyalty to Max so much more than just dog and owner. Dog sees Max as the man who raised him. and now it makes what happens to Dog in road warrior way sadder.
aaaahhh, that was one of the roughest and most painful dog deaths in a movie for me. they spend so much time showing Dog's personality and character, like in most movies not centered around a dog that have one the dogs have a bit of personality, but Dog, he actually shows a full one. you see him at rest, working, interacting with Max and the Gyro captain, you see how smart he is, how clever he is, waiting to jump the guy when he goes for the car after he gets the drop on Max, and then they do what most movies like this that include dogs do and tear the audience's fucking hearts out.
Fun fact about the dog in the original road warrior movie. They actually got the dog from a local pound and trained him, I thought that was pretty cool
I thought was going to be a preview of a movie I've never heard of and then it starts off like a real movie and I thought how good could it be in 8 and half minutes. I was proved wrong. The attention to detail was pretty meticulous. The dog at the end just sold me. Great job!

So cool that they incorporated the dog in there, that that is the dog you see in MM2. Simple enough, but shows the time to be between 1and 2 and fits the story. And that car is still the bomb, also nice to see the car as it would be as they were sold. If i'd ever have a chance to get a movie car, that would be it. Very well done film. It is very clear that the creators are quite the fans of Mad Max movies, all the signature shots are there (on hood facing the supercharger and Max's face, on the ground facing exhaust pipes, on ground looking at a car come to a screeching halt). Only thing that gave it away was the left hand drive cars :P (sans Pursuit Special). But well done nonetheless and you guys should be commended for your efforts.
Thinking about it, I think the Mad Max and the Road Warrior is why I have a love of supercharged engines to this day... I've got a 5 liter supercharged in my Jaguar that definitely likes open road!

Absolutely outstanding...you should all be really proud of this.
Fantastic. Exceptionally well made guys. That Pursuit Special is bang on. As is the Mustang and the Rancher, they were ideal for the look and feel of Mad Max.
Above all else, you all had very convincing Aussie accents. Speaking as an Australian, I would have been convinced that it WAS Australia. Only thing that gave it away was the left hand drive cars :P (sans Pursuit Special).
But well done nonetheless and you guys should be commended for your efforts.
Hats off to you sir... This coming from an accountant who secretly wants to roam the wastelands in a police interceptor.
The look on the guys face as he turns to face max only to be greeted by the double barrel shotgun.
Thinking about it, I think the Mad Max and the Road Warrior is why I have a love of supercharged engines to this day... I've got a 5 liter supercharged in my Jaguar that definitely likes open road!
OMG that's a great story for introducing the dog, top job
