Hi Lovelies,
In this video, i speak on an ongoing issue with Swedish Public Employment Service also known as arbetsförmedlingen choosing to erase a person with disabilities and her ethnicity in an ad that is supposed to get companies to make space for people with disabilities.
The person whose face they photoshopped on the Young ladies body is perhaps swedens largest and most influential influencer Therese Lindgren. Who initially claimed that she would try her best to resolve the situation. But who has turned around and started acting in the best interest of the PR company and Arbetsförmedlingen and thereby stepping on several marginalised groups.
I recorded this video in a haste but because I had so much to say about the subject and since she is trying to silence the subject I will once and for all speak on it.

As a disabled woman, thank you for fighting this.
En ophotoshoppad bild med samma rubrik men med en text under som berättar hur influencial Nathalie är hade funkat så sjukt mycket bättre. Folk hade fått möta sin fördom direkt med en "aha"-upplevelse och fått veta vem hon är så Nathalie kan bli ännu större och lära oss massor. Så jäkla trist att Arbetsförmedlingen gör såhär. Tack för att du brinner för detta ❤
Eller om de hade Therese på en sida och Natalie på det andra som sig själv. Detta var en onödig reklam och slöseri på pengar. Önskar de lade pengarna på att ta in personer med funktionsnedsättning och höll workshop om hur de kan förbättra arbetsmarknaden för de istället

This is so upsetting. It's pure erasure of a disabled mixed race woman. It shows how disposable disabled people, people of colour, *and* disabled people of colour are in the eyes of workplaces and businesses like these.
Pure erasure! I thought about you and all the people I follow and who follow me who share their struggles and knew this was not something I had the privilege to remain quiet about. My disability is not visible so am able bodied passing but it’s a duty to use my voice as an ally. I hope Therese understands that and is reminded of the humanity we all require in 2019

I just can’t begin to imagine how, between all the people involved in making this advertisement, it still got approved? To take easily identifiable people from a community, and pose “what if they were disabled?” questions, while simultaneously ERASING the identity of someone who IS disabled... it’s boggling. And the way Nathalie was ‘arranged’ for the photo! To make her disability more pronounced, more obvious, for impact! I’m disgusted. Thank you, for using YOUR platform to raise awareness, to lift Nathalie’s voice, and give this the traction it deserves.
And, white women, do better. Apologise when you make a mistake, and listen (really listen) to people from marginalised communities when they tell you you have hurt them. And ESPECIALLY, don’t go to a woman of colour, or a black woman, or a mixed woman, or a disabled woman, and ask how YOU CAN DO BETTER, and then ignore that.
Well... considering no black/poc were hired by this Pr company I am not surprised at all. All the people in that pitch probably thought this was an amazing idea because they would never know what it feels like to have your identities erased :(

Being disabled myself and trying to bring awareness on the issues of chronic pain sufferers and the stigma of disabled people with both visible and invisible disabilities I THANK YOU for the work you do. This was wrong wrong wrong. How can one not see that photoshopping one persons body onto another was not ok ESPECIALLY in this context. With technology they could have manipulated her own body for the results needed. btw its hard to read the text hon. Also you are one hell of a classy articulate woman that many could take many a lesson from. Much love from the US

I'm so here for a new world where people are expected and praised for taking responsibility for when they mess up. Making mistakes is human, completely fucking up is human. But the solution is not to pretend it never happened. The solution is to learn, acknowledge it and then grow as a person. So that next time you won't make the same mistake.
And I love how focuses you are on that it's okay to make mistakes as long as one learns and tries to fix it. Because for so long I have wrongly thought that someone who messed up would be hated. I am also a vegan, but apart of being a vegan isnt just love and equality for animals, it is love and equality for EVERYONE. I have Asperger syndrome combined with adhd and being shoved aside happens to me aswell and many with simular issues and genders has been sexually harassed or victimized due of the social navitie. Most women with disabiltiy and mentall illness are a easy targets of isolation and abuse

@@jallowlovette yes.. it is fucking horrible and not many speaks about it.. Most of us is thankful victims as we hide alone in our rooms or not understand what exactly happen.. Most women groups i go too and the teens we met says the same over and over. And Most dont wanna hire or have Good Work places. Still i have never seen the diffrance due to skincolour Most have identical stories and all of them comes from diffrent shapes and colour. What Therese and arbetsförmedlingen did is sick.. and atm arbetsförmedlingen goes agenst lls law and withdraw support system that end many chances to Work.. the organisation is in chaos due of system change so it is even larger issue atm. Without that support so many more will suffer and even more go to self induced isolation.. so i wont forgive them for doing that to the girl and none will apoligise to her.. none... if she not sue them. But either will go to her level to understand because Most normies look down at any disabled ppl to be lesser.. they wont admit it so they will pretend to be the victim and she will hurt alone and feel shame for nothing... she was used to be a trinket as Most organisation does, cute project to show how Nice they are

You are right and my partner was right. I did something out of kindness even though the person has enough privilege to find out themselves. And when they refused my help and had their backs against the wall they apologized and used that opportunity to discredit me. I saved all the printscreens to remind me next time I get the idea to “educate” someone to listen to my instincts instead. I don’t feel good today after a whole days of her fans sending shitty DMs and hate, I can’t even respond because they are all under 18. But lesson learnt. ❤️

Jag gillar Therese och JA jag tycker att detta är fel! Jag tycker inte att man gör så för det är respektlöst mot Natalie men jag tycker ändå att folk kan tagga ner lite grann. Om man skadar någon förlorar man all rätt att kräva hur de ska påtala skadan och vilken ton de använder. Personligen använde jag silkeshandskar med Therese för att få ursäkten till Natalie men inte ens det funkade.
Men oavsett vad har Therese levererat sin ursäkt till Natalie och arbetsförmedlingen har tagit ned reklamen så det är det som är viktigt.
Folk kommer att göra misstag så länge de tar ansvar för det och ber om ursäkt är allt bra ❤️❤️❤️

Ja, diskriminering finns, och ja, jag har varit med om mycket annat.
Ja tyvär så visar statistiken att personer med härkomst från Irak får bara 10% positiva svar på jobbansökan och ännu värre 5% för afrosvenskar. Så ingen kan hävda att diskriminering i arbetsmarknaden inte existerar. Låt inte det krossa dig, jag tror på dig och jag tror på att företag ska få konsekvenser när de diskriminerar.

Okay, I saw people talking about this on Facebook, and Therese handled it poorly. She shouldn't even accept something like this from the first place. But my mind might be muddled because I simply don't like Therese. Seen so many videos that she (and other Swedish, or other non-english UA-camrs) straight up copy English UA-camrs content, literally step by step, but for some reason it's okay because it's in another language.
The fact that she can't see what's wrong with this AD just shows how ignorant, either on purpose or unknowingly, she is.
I know exactly what you mean with the stealing of content from English speaking youtubers. I can’t say I didn’t like Therese before this. We spoke and were quite kind to each other which made me believe we were ok. Once it became apparent that no matter how much I may like someone I will speak when they harm others I became the bad guy as always and that hurts as well.
Therese has been in my DMs being very violent in language and been petty when my followers tried to make her see sense. This whole thing left a bitter taste in my mouth to say the least. But I will speak to my lawyer and see how we can best deal with this.

I don't know Therese, so maybe I shouldn't judge her really, but sometimes you get this bad feeling about people, and sometimes that feeling proves to be right, and sometimes it's wrong. The fact that Therese continuously keeps making very unwise choices in her life - that also affects others, proves my feeling was right.

Nu skriver du igen och inte förstår innebörden av WHITEWASHING de borde aldrig ha valt en vit person och raderat Natalies etnicitet då hon förtrycks även pga av det och sin funktionsnedsättning. Titta på videon i sin helhet innan du skriver så kan vi ha en diskussion på lika grunder.

Har själv en funktionsnedsättning och det har hindrat mig från att få de jobben jag har utbildat mig för. AF har väldigt dålig kunskap kring allt detta.

En fråga, du menar på att Therese 100% fick se bilden innan pga kontraket. Hade inte Natalie skrivit på ett kontrakt? Innebar inte även den då att hon skulle få se den innan?
Jag vill verkligen få förklarat hur detta är whitewashing. Om det är både hennes ansikte och kropp (bortsett från. Fötter och armar), och det ska föreställa THERESE. Varför skulle man ”ändra” hennes hudton?
Hej Diana, Natalie fick ingen avtal. Och fick inte godkänna hela kampanjen eller delen hon var med i och utformningen. Dock kan jag säga att jag i kampanjer alltid förhandlar min avtal så jag får se slutresultatet då det har skett skeva misstag innan.
Att ändra en persons etnicitet från svart till vit är lika illa som blackface. Hade Natalie varit vit och inte själv en influencer hade denna kampanj gått, men även då är det skevt eftersom en person utan funktionsnedsättning kan inte ta platsen av en målgrupp som redan inte ges plats i samhället.
Personligen tucker jag att arbetsförmedlingen missade bollen i hela kampanjen. En möjlighet att synliggöra personer med funktionsnedsättningar som har lyckats ändå vore bättre.
Problemet med Therese är att hon avsa all ansvar och försökte sätta över det på Natalie vilket inte är rätt. Och igår och idag har både Therese och hennes följare vänt allt mot mig istället så jag får hat och inte en enda ursäkt har dimpat i min dm. Tvärtom Hr Therese skrivit ganska hårt och attackerat mig i skrift när jag har lagt ned mycket tid på samtal med henne och gett henne information. Men men
