      Can I ask...
      Many naturals insist on using heat to deep condition.
      I see you haven't and I, for my own reasons, can't use heat when conditioning.
      So, do deep conditioners need heat to work well???

    • @jallowlovette
      @jallowlovette  5 років тому

      Stella Zimbiti I dot think it’s a must to use heat. Oftentimes your own natural body heat is enough to open the cuticles and allow moisture retention. I have used heat and 7 times out of ten I don’t and I notice my hair is thriving more without using direct heat. 💕 just do what’s best for your hair because no one will know your hair better than you

    Hey beautiful, we have the same type of hair. Try rinsing in sections too. It helps me out, rinse, wide tooth comb, flax gel, twist and repeat. This way our hair type is getting all the moisture needed without being exposed to towels, linens etc.
    I hope my thoughts and comments are received in love, as love was and is in my intention.

      Jodiah it’s not really about money but more what your hair needs. My hair needs deep conditioning twice a month. I don’t spend a lot of money on it but use what I have at home from olive oil to grape seed oil. If your hair only needs it once a month or once every other month then that’s what you should follow for best hair health. Nothing on UA-cam is one size fits all, I only speak from my own hair perspective. And products listed last me a good 5 months

    After deep conditioning what are you supposed to do? Do you have to put oil to seal everything? When I deep conditioned, the next day my hair was dry so I think I did something wrong🤷🏾‍♀️but my hair is always dry no matter what

    • @weighingin1374
      @weighingin1374 5 років тому +7

      After you wash it out you just do your usual moisture routine and sealing it with oil is a good idea. If you don't have a routine you may want to find a video about a basic one and start there while you research. Have a great day!

    I’m so stupid.. I’ve always seen that white thing all over my house; both in the one I currently live in and the one in Norway...
    *I should’ve known that it was actually shea butter..*

    How often do you do this? And how long will the mixure last for (kept cool in the fridge)?

    • @jallowlovette
      @jallowlovette  5 років тому +2

      I only mix it when I need to deep condition. So once or once every two months. I don’t make too much at a time I just make enough for me and my partner to use in one day and otherwise due to the coconut milk added it will spoil in no time :)
