"Last time I trusted someone I lost an eye." - Nick Fury. I don't think anybody guessed the backstory of that remark would turn out that way. 🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The movie takes place in 1995 because they said that the mission with Carol and Mar Vel flying that prototype jet was in 1989 and Carols best friends says it’s been 6 years.
The reaction to the Flerken reveal is awesome.
THAT was very unexpected 😂😂😂😂😂
I couldn't figure out why the Skrulls were so frightened of the cat 😂😂😂😂😂
@@KazzyCreates my reaction was pretty much the same lol.
LOVED your reaction. :)
Actually, that part of the movie just confirmed what I've always suspected about cats.
I love Vers' initial interactions with C-53 natives. The casual "Oh hey I'm Vers from Kree Starforce, here to track down some skrulls" is both hilarious and sweet.
I don't get the hate this movie and Brie Larson get. This is one of my favorite Marvel movies for the sheer fun of it and her performance. It's just a good buddy movie. I LLOOOVVEED your laugh when the Flerken ate the teseract.
don't let a vocal minority of entitled man-children fool you into thinking there's more of them than there really are.
I don't get it either. I personally loved this movie 😀✌🏼💛
Thank you for watching and for your kind words 💜. I was NOT expecting the cat to turn into that creature, the Flerken 😂😂😂
It's so annoying when a certain segment of fandom hates on the woman lead films.
@@henrytjernlund I refuse to consider those people as part of the fandom. A true MCU fan doesn't complain about a movie which isn't a good fit for his personal taste, but enjoys the ones he likes and allows others to have fun with the ones they like.
I find this a triumphant movie. Yeah, I don't get the hate.
This is important for knowing how powerful Captain Marvel is
Finally someone who appreciates Captain Marvel. It's a really good movie, very rewatchable. I saw it in the movie theatre when it came out, it was awesome. Loved your reaction.
Thank you so much, Teresa!! 💜💜💜
I deny having any resemblance to a Flerken.
YOU ARE ONE OF'EM 🐈
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That last scene explained how S.H.I.E.L.D. got their hands on the Tesseract.
I like that we have no idea when this takes place. Goose could have hacked that up right before The Avengers begins, haha.
@@jdolan74 OH I didn't even think about that 😂😂😂😂😂. So true 👍🏻😁💛
Got their hands back on the Tesseract at least. They had it from when Howard found it until Mar-vell took it up to her ship. Might explain why Fury was so interested in it though.
If you watched Agents of Shield, you’ll notice the similarities between the jet they used to get to the laboratory and the Quinjets Shield uses.
Makes sense... seeing as it's a prototype Quinjet.
I LOVE this movie!
It's a great twist for the shapeshifting alien lizard people to be the good guys. Especially since the Skrulls are a classic bad guy in the comics. It was also good to see Ronan back in his Kree Captain America days, and I'm a sucker for aliens setting up secretly on earth. I also really like the idea of making a new kind of FTL that doesn't rely on jump points as a way to reach safety for the Skrulls.
And Carol. Carol starting off as snarky star force officer and ranking up through the movie as she remembers her history right to Superman. It's great.
Fury was wise not to touch the Space Stone. Look what happened to Red Skull!
I’m holding out hope that out of Tony or Natasha, one of them will be brought back, with the explanation being that they were replaced by skrulls long ago, and the REAL person was found. 😂
@@BlackFlightNY I still don't understand how Gamora is back, but not Natasha. Doctor Strange couldve pulled her from the past like everyone else.
@@Usthereout Were all of you not paying attention? Some people died real deaths before or after the blip. Their deaths were not caused by the blip (all those that turned to dust), so they couldn't be brought back when Smart Hulk snapped his fingers to un-do the first snap. Tasha died a real death on an alien world. Strange can't just start bringing people back to life by time travel. That's the whole point of NOT using the Eye to muck with time, which the Old One explained during Endgame, and Wong explained during Strange's movie. Sheesh.
In this case the mucking was done by Thanos to jump forward in time to take the complete gauntlet from the Avengers. Since he was going to create a new universe, he couldn't care less about time streams or paradoxes.
@@Usthereout Dr. Strange didn't pull anyone from the past. He just teleported to Earth everyone who was brought back from the Blip by Hulk's use of the infinity stones. The only characters that came from the past were Gamora and Nebula along with Thanos, and it's more like they came from an alternate timeline into 'our' timeline. Once they entered our timeline, they left theirs. They weren't brought back to life, they just came from somewhere else.
@@Kai-fb1ol WAIT. Hulk's snap worked? Then wtf did Tony die for, was it just to dust Thanos and the Black order?
It was so nice watching you enjoy yourself so much watching this movie. People spend so much time and effort bashing it, but I went to the movies to see it and liked it a lot. Can't wait for that Far From Home, viewing. 💕
Film made over a billion dollars. The haters were just a very small group of selfish internet snobs trying to affect its pre release rotten tomatoes scores.
Thank you 😊✌🏼💛. I loved this movie 👍🏻🔥💜💯
"The last time i trust someone i lose an eye"
I liked this one a lot too. Not sure why it got so much hate. People said she didn't show enough emotion but I thought she was playing it kind of stoic and badass like Christopher Reeve's Superman. Only things I would change is maybe a couple of the song choices and I would have maybe added a little more backstory with Carol and Maria. But other than that it was great.
Yeah. She had the right level of emotion when it was needed. Vers being told repeatedly not to be emotional was a major plot element.
Yeah, her demeanor bothered me, but I reached the same conclusion you did. I just wish she was more sassy in the way she was with Fury.
I think they made her too powerful in the same way Superman is too powerful. That's why DC writers invented Kryptonite, to keep him from winning on page 1 all the time. the folks over on HISHE have nailed this point several times.
@@Caseytify You wanted the female lead to be "sassy?" Yeesh. And there are many other characters that are incredibly powerful too. No one complains 1/120th as much about them as they do this specific character. That can't be explained away.
@@Caseytify Thor at his full potential is as powerful as Carol, and he also has no weakness (aside from his pride).
One of my high re-watch MCU movies. I love it when others enjoy it as well.
Right after WandaVision ep 4 I booted up Disney+ to watch it again. Still very interested to see what the Monica - Carol connection might be about. My guess is it had a lot to do with Monica's mom.
I loved this movie 😀✌🏼💜
Captain Marvel is powerful enough to single-handed take Thanos with the infinity gauntlet and if she has Adam Warlock she is nearly invincible.
As a middle aged white male I can honestly say... I loved this movie. The de-aging on Sam Jackson was top tier, the 90s nostalgia, the flerken, and Captain Marvel kicking kree ass was a great watch.
Thank u. Someone who’s unbiased and not overly critical for the sake of it. This movie was solid IMO too.
Thank you....I appreciate that 😊✌🏼💜
It’s nice to finally watch a reactor to this movie who knows The Fonz and Blockbuster Video. Also, I thoroughly enjoyed how you edited this.
Great reaction to Captain Marvel Kazzy. I especially loved the Flerken reveal part😁
Thank you, Marc 😀✌🏼💛
That Flerken was VERY unexpected 😂😂😂😂😂
Love your reaction and gave me a chance to see this movie again and notice how good it is and now WandaVision you get a little backstory of Monica and her mother but I hope they will go into the time when her mother started SWORD in a possible Monica's movie.
Wow...I didn't know that. I hope they go into more of that back story as well 😊✌🏼💛
The mcu does not follow the comics 100% they are just based on and inspired by them, so while comic fans can predict some things they won't know everything.
Yep. The MCU is a separate universe to the 616 comic book universe. Similar events but played out differently.
In the comics, a man called Master Pandemonium is the main villain of this storyline but all I ever hear about is that either Mephisto or Nightmare will be the main villain of WandaVision, why?
@@dragonweyr44 Master Pandemonium was just somebody who was being manipulated and used by Mephisto.
@@alftuvik3820 But he was still a major plot of the original story from the 80s I believe
At one point in the storyline, MP's arms were Billy and Tommy their torsos replacing his hands
I never read the House of M story but I did read the original version in the 1980s
@@dragonweyr44 Yeah, just don't know how he would fit in WandaVision, his powers was just summoning demons and his goal was to recover the pieces of "his soul" after Mephisto lied and convinced him he needed to. While it's possible that somebody will play a similar role, it probably wouldn't be a major one as there has been no hints or anything pointing toward it. Mephisto's role was being the brain, manipulator and puppetmaster while Pandemonium was just a unfortunate guy who made a deal with Mephisto in order to survive after an accident and became a tool. (Watch me eat my words if I'm proven wrong in the new episode lol.)
I wasn't sure if you recognized Djimon Hounsou's character (Korath), but he was in Guardians of the Galaxy, too.
Yes, I did. He's an incredible actor. I loved him in Gladiator and Blood Diamond 💎❤😀👍🏻💯
@@KazzyCreates His breakout role was in Spielberg´s Amistad. Very underrated movie.

Sending love to Sweden 🇸🇪❤
In the comics Goose is named Chewie after Chewbacca.
@Where's Waldo??? ?
How would you know?
Are you siting on her lap and know everything she's interested in?
Dafuq outta here!
Yep!
And they used "Goose" instead as a nod to Iron Eagle and 1980's jet fighter movies.
@@Cbricklyne I _wish_ I were sitting on her lap! j/k
Actually, in the comics he was Carol's cat, and here she doesn't seem to recognize him.
I'm surprised no one picked up on Banner's line in the first Avengers movie: "What does he want me to do, swallow it?"
@@Caseytify
brie larson is actually allergic to cats, which is why she doesn't spend much time playing with it on-screen.
@@Caseytify Chewie is a flerken in the comics too. Takes time before Carol knows that though. marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Chewie_(Earth-58163)
“Higher, further, faster, baby!” 😎
This movie wasn't even bad. IMO I thought it was really good. I liked how it was in the past but important to the MCU timeline. I also don't get why people were saying she was cocky. I think that was the point, that she's extremely powerful. Like the MCUs Superman, why would you pretend to be weak. Ppl don't give this movie enough credit.
Thor is just as cocky but nobody cries about that.
It's only insecure manbabies that have an issue with Captain Marvel. It's not the best movie, but it's as good as Marvel films like Doctor Strange and Ant-Man.
@@eternalposer1955 fr. Like if I was the god of thunder or had the power of an infinity stone ofc I'd be cocky. Ppl just love to complain
@@ROArecords2 I laugh when someone tosses around insults like "insecure manbabies." It speaks volumes.
@@eternalposer1955 Thor got the cocky knocked out of him the first movie.
On the other hand, fighter jocks are cocky SOBs. That crack about the cockpit is typical, not sexist. There's an old joke: what's the difference between God and a fighter pilot? God doesn't tell you he's a fighter pilot.
It's funny how many Marvel movie reactions have people predicting things, but when they call a cat a Flerken like 7 times in Captain Marvel, everyone is like "no its a cat" :D
To be fair, if it looks like an Earth creature and has behaved like one the entire movie, it's reasonable for people to think "these are aliens who don't know what a cat is."
We have been spoiled Kazzy , two great reaction videos so soon , i enjoy them a lot , especially when you insert references to other movies . Look forward to your next video
Thank you so much, Douglas!! 😀✌🏼💛
What i like about your videos is that you put the media you reference in your videos. Thank you for that
Carol has a thing for blasting ships like in endgame
It should just be in Brie Larson’s contract that in every movie she has to blow up a lot of ships.
Lol... I just clicked on the link, but my reaction, as clicking was, "Yay, Kazzy gets to see a Flerken!".
I said it out loud. My dog stared.
Lol
Ahahahahaha!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
When she blasted Jude Law at the end, I was SURE you were going to flash "Indie" shooting "The Swordsman" in the market.
Oh that would have been a GREAT one!! 💯👍🏻🔥
This movie got better for me on a re-watch. The first 20 mins or so is hard to get thru but once Captain Marvel crashes into the Blockbuster, the movie shifts into high gear and gets comfortable with what it is.
This takes place in 1995. Stan Lee was practicing his line on the way to his shoot for Mallrats. That scene actually made Kevin Smith cry when he saw it.
Aaaaaawwwwwwww!!!!!!! 😭😭😭❤❤❤👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
10:09 -- he was rehearsing his lines for the movie "Mallrats," which means Kevin Smith exists in the MCU.
😂😂😂
I LOVE Mallrats 👍🏻💯
We really need Jay and Silent Bob in the MCU. Or would they be Bluntman and Chronic?
@@k5sss No... we don't need that.
On a related note, if Kevin Smith were to direct an episode or two of Ms. Marvel (if they make a 2nd season), fine.
Thanks Kazzy it's fun to watch movies with you. It's like we are friends in real life...all your comments :)

The surfer woman that Talos turns into on the beach with the pony tail has an identical twin sister that they used in the same scene so it wasn't a split screen or a digital double. It was just her twin who was cast instead
Oh VERY cool 😀✌🏼
Take the tesseract, leave the lunchbox is the new leave the gun, take the canoli lol
I'm so surprised more people didn't catch the reference.
I knew you would like it. You will probably get negative comments from people that hate it but I think it goes more to people who don't like Brie Larson and her personality promoting the move. Marvel purist also don't like the idea of Captain Marvel being made such a powerful character. You ask me it points to a misogynistic vein that still runs in comic culture. The movie was MCU formulaic but they know how to make it work. Not a Disney princess but a queen in my opinion
You were right, Nick....I loved it 😀✌🏼💜
Also I love the realness of your reactions. So innocent but righteous and at the same time super nerdy.
Ahahahaha!! Thank you so much Lord Rae 😀✌🏼💜
First there's a Captain America, and now Captain Marvel. One Captain is Male and the other Captain is Female. Brilliant. Also I can't believe Nick Fury lost his eye from a cat. Funny as hell.
a handful of people have bitched about the eye thing, but i love it. nick fury is the ultimate bullshit artist. it's so much more satisfying than any "bad-ass" explanation they could have come up with.
@@sirmoonslosthismind Yep, I agree 😁✌🏼

Awesome reaction!!!!! Love everything about this film. The tone, the pacing, the character development, and DEFINITELY the soundtrack, were all perfect imho. And your edits were a little too good...I made the mistake of taking a sip of coffee right before the Bon Jovi edit, and subsequently did a spit take that would make Danny Thomas proud.😂 And your reactions to Goose being Goose were EVERYTHING! 😂😝🤣 Pretty much the same reactions I had when I saw this in the theater.💛
Thank you SO MUCH for your kind words!! 😀✌🏼💜
Captain Marvel is badass!
I absolutely love how you put references to the movie like music or callback snippets on ur reaction 😂😂
It's really new and I dig it👌🏻
I used to work at Blockbuster Video. Great job!
Stan Lee is reading a script for Mallrats. He has a long cameo in that film.
Which means that's him as himself.
Which is why she gave him that look.
@Zach Jersey Cameos are credited all the time. For example Stan Lee is credited in Captain Marvel as Stan Lee playing Stan Lee.
Kevin Smith nearly shit himself when Marvel gave him the call to asked permission to do this for Stan's cameo
@@josearroyo8008 The easiest yes to say in his career, I bet.

This movie was not given the chance it deserved. It was a really fun movie with great jokes, great special effects and great actors, but still got so much unnecessary hate. I hope people are nicer with Captain Marvel 2

@@KazzyCreates so did i!! Your reaction was so refreshing!
I love how you just laugh between scenes😂
1) “Motha flerken!” - top 5 Nick Fury line!
2) As a 90’s kid who also worked at a Blockbuster Video in Southern California...I could have used more shin length cargo shorts and baggy shirts.
3) Carol going full anime hero during the ending set piece was so awesome.
Ahahahahahaha!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
I saw this movie on TV with my mother the other day (British network premiere, day before Easter, recorded it on a new Sky box, saw it on Tuesday night), and we both loved it. That scene when Carol learns to fly was way better than I was expecting (puts the one in Wonder Woman 1984 to shame, and that scream of delight was a chef's kiss) and I loved the soundtrack. Has the best 90s hits, just like GotG has the best 80s hits (I can't really say that because I hadn't heard of those before). The storyline, about her memory coming back to her, is a very different approach to previous MCU movies.
Because she spent most of the movie as a villain basically, and has only just started redeeming herself, I'm actually curious to see what's next for her.
I love your approach to these reactions, and I don't mean to be critical, but you missed an opportunity to refer to Independence Day during the Grand Canyon chase. As I saw that scene, I was like "Where's Will Smith when you need him?"
The movie : "This is Yon-Rogg, he's the bad guy"
Everyone : "Damn, Jude Law, why are you mean ?"
Hey Kazzy 😜, yes iam so glad you liked this one, it's one of my favorites!!! Great acting, great story on line, an cat 🐈 oh my God that was so unexpected but Awesome!! Good plot turns it's great, really glad you liked it too. Great reaction ☺️ lv ya mean it ❤️😘🍻

I think Brie Larson and Sam Jackson know each orther very well that's why they have great chemistry .but I think goose steals the film though .
They did a carpool karaoke together for apple tv, you can see the complete video here on UA-cam
They were both in Kong Skull Island.
@@mnguardianfan7128 As well as Tom Hiddleston
They first worked together on the movie Our Love Is Real and been friends. They had such great on screen chemistry, they should have made them love interests and would have made it one of the more unique romances in the MCU. But the apparently Marvel are going to make Captain Marvel an unspoken Lesbian.
@@Delboy0 I'm still wondering why Carol hasn't aged in 25 years
Does it have anything to do with her ability to fly through space? Relativistic travel slowing her aging process?
I remembered when Peter Parker (Tom Holland) asking Nick Fury (Sam Jackson) to get Captain Marvel, and Nick replied back don't mentioned that name......I guess she is classified.
