My version of how Chive handled the tree wars :D
After war was announced, Chive fled to a nearby remote island, knowing that, being a hybrid, it wouldn't work out very well for him. He disliked staying in one place all the time so he basically explored the whole island, he knew every cave, biome, beach, anything and everything that was on the island. He discovered a few new plants and animals that way as well. He made sure to take notes on everything he saw knowing that when he was able to go home, he would be able to boast about it to his friends! The thought of seeing his friends again always cheered him up, and meanwhile, he tamed an animal he called "Honey" It was an orange cat-like animal With black stripes. (Yes, he tamed a Tiger, don't ask how. Also I'm just assuming they don't know what tigers are soooo yeah) He found that it was carnivorous and enjoyed being pet. He spent the rest of the tree wars caring for Honey and exploring the island.
I will make a version of when the tree wars is over and he returns to pantala when I get 15 likes! :D

After the tree wars, Chive flew home. It took a while to find where everybody went, and he was devastated to find that the trees were burnt down. What about his leafwing friends? Where did they go? After searching for a while, he found more dragons, who... let's just say weren't the nicest.. They threatened him, and took him to the hives to be imprisoned for being a hybrid. Why..? Why had Pantala changed so much? Did he come home just to find that everybody hated each other now? That he couldn't travel anymore? It was miserable. At least Honey was with him. The guard wanted to take Honey away and kill them! How dare they! Anyways, Chive didn't let that happen, and instead Honey stayed with him. He spent long days, circling around his prison cell, petting Honey, eating, Feeding honey, anything and everything to entertain himself. Until one day, he woke up to find chaos, guards panicking, dragons running everywhere. What happened? Was someone hurt?(Apparently Queen wasp was hurt, when pineapple used venom to melt her face off XD) All the noise and running caused the lock on his cell to break. He escaped once there was nobody around anymore. Then he flew, he flew until he was tired, and sheltered in a cave. After a few days, he discovered that [insert a summary of arc 3]. He rejoiced. It meant that he could finally travel again, see his friends again! Share all the information he collected! Life could finally return to normal, he could finally spread his wings and fly.

YALL WE REACHED 30 LIKES!
The first place he flew to was the LeafSilk Village. Apparently most of his friends and even his mother and father lived there now. It took a while to get there, especially while transporting Honey as well. When he finally got there, he searched for his friends, excited to see them again. He was recognized almost instantly, and a few minutes later, all his friends (and a few family members) were crowded around him, asking him questions, where he went, if he was okay, and other stuff. Eventually they all calmed down enough for him to explain everything that happened. The island, his discoveries, Honey, prison, hiding in the cave, and finding the LeafSilk village. Most of his friends sat back, having nothing more to say. Others, kept asking questions until they were at the topic of the tree wars. Suddenly everybody went quiet. And when Chive asked what was the matter, he noticed some of his friends were missing. His heart dropped, and eventually, somebody broke the news to him that the friends that were missing died during the tree wars. Chive was devastated. Everybody was quiet for a while, until somebody broke the silence and suggested they have a 'welcome back party' for Chive because that's what his fallen friends' would have wanted. Chive wasn't in the mood for a party, but agreed anyways, wanting to lighten the mood. And it worked! Everybody started cheering up a bit and started planning the party. Meanwhile his parents took care of him, providing water, food, and creating a place for him to rest. He got in his bed and drifted off into a peaceful, happy, sleep...

One of his friends woke him up, saying that the party was ready. Chive took his time waking up though, still drowsy and tired, he went to go get ready for the party. Knowing his friends, they most definitely threw a HUGE party for him, so may as well get ready for the games and all the yelling. At the party, Chive was instantly taken to the game area, where all his friends had set up a few of his favorite games. Chive laughed and played with his companions until they were tired. After the games, his friends led him to a table. On the table, was almost all of chives favorite foods and snacks. That was where they all ate and played a nice game of charades. Everybody was having a blast, even when they held a small funeral for their dead friends, there was a feeling of peace in the air. Everything was perfect. While they were all resting, he thought back to where he met Honey and remembered something: He hadn't shown his notes and discoveries to the Leaf-Silk government yet! Not even a scientist! So at the end of the day, he told his friends what he was going to do, and asked them if some of them would show him to the authorities the next day. A few of his friends willingly volunteered to help him, and so the next day, they went to tell the government about Chive's interesting discoveries, bringing Honey with them as proof. As they reached a large building made of some type of stone and a few branches, Chive took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

Chive was greeted by a important-looking leafwing...or.. well.. They looked like any other leafwing, but their accessories made them look more important than the average dragon. Chive's friends introduced Chive to Hazel (Which he really didn't expect her to be a princess, considering he was away for so long) Hazel greeted Chive and then asked what his little... Companion(Honey) was. Chive explained that Honey was his pet and that she (yes, Honey is a she) was one of his discoveries. Chive filled Hazel in on what he did during the tree wars, showed her a few of his notes, and let her examine Honey (Tigers should be about the size of a cat considering dragons are so big compared to scavengers) Hazel then led chive (his friends had to go do stuff so they left him with Hazel) to a room. The room happened to have some scientists experimenting on something until Hazel entered the room. She introduced Chive and honey and then asked chive to show the scientists his notes. The scientists gasped, surprised that such a small island could hold so many undiscovered things. They asked for examine his notes more and he lended them a copy of his notes (he prepared beforehand, knowing they might do exactly what they did) Hazel then said that he might want to see somebody else if even the scientists were so surprised. They chatted for a while until they reached a room. Hazel opened the doors. There, the government sat. Chive looked around the room, so many important dragons! Then he gasped when he saw the dragon in the middle of the room, because the dragon in the middle of all the important dragons... Was *Queen Sequoia.*

New video idea! Please design fanmade children for each of the canon cross-tribe couples! (Clay and Peril, Qibli and Moon, Turtle and Kinkajou, etc. [you coulddd do Deathbringer and Glory, but that would probably be less cool because she’s already been designed😅]). This would make for a really cool hybrid character design challenge!
YES! And maybe the mother gives off the more prominent looks? Like more of a Nightwing than Sandwing for Moon's and Qibli's dragonet, for example.

@@osheridan It's not "half canon"- it's just not canon. It could become canon, but right now it's about as canon as Winter and Moon or Qibli and Umber

Dude Chive is like a Trybrid, like a Silk/MudWing Hybrid and a HiveWing offspring. But that’s just my opinion. Chive looks great!

I love the point of view with Chive being in between tribes and never really fitting in but finding his own way. As a TCK, third culture kid, I can relate to this and I think it’s cool seeing it in a WOF OC. I would think that Chive would only really fit in with a gang of traveling hybrids, but he might not even stay for that too long. Maybe he would come and go but always have a group to come back to. Food for thought

Some interesting variation you could add to a hybrid oc silkwing-hivewing is whith the wings. there could be a chance for the dragon to have two silk wing wings(no second pair),translucent wings (which would be really pretty)or four hive wing shaped silk wing wings (just some ideas I thought of as I was watching this )
At first I was skeptical about the mood board thing, but after finding one on google...
I just created an entire appearance, personality, and backstory for one of my ocs within 20 seconds of looking at it 😭
So yes, can confirm that mood boards work.

@@LucidCrowWcue Well, for the appearance I look at exactly what the pictures are- The colours, the places, etc. It probably helps that the mood board I found had words on it, which is what helped with the lore- So I'd suggest aiming for those types of mood boards :] And I also look into what kinda vibes the board gives off for the personality- Does it appear kind of sad? Happy? Angry? The words can also help with the personality! So yea that's pretty much how I do it :]

new video idea you could make a sky -night hybrid called Dawn .Dawn 's design is mostly Skywing but was born under one moon so she came see the future as well as Clearsight . Dawn's mother is a Skywing general so Dawn started training to be solider at a young age .When Dawn was five though she was banished to a village on the outskirts that where she met her father .Dawn's farther was sent to look for the dod when he met his unknown daughter.
i have an idea for a series you could do: giving feedback on peoples art, or, showing small or inconsistent creators/artists with talent. i think it would be a great way to interact with the general audience a bit more. god bless, cyprus

The hives were made during the tree, wars and silk wings, and hive wings weren’t allowed to have children either because remember lady scarab Said that her grandmother had forbid it and some really old hive wings are three generations from the nearest hive wing silk wing hybrid

My version of the Tree Wars Afterstory:
Chive was not very happy. Since he had grown up with the tribes getting along, he didn’t like the way they all the sudden hated each other. When the HiveWings burnt the trees down, he was shocked and angry about it. He, as a hybrid, was kicked out of the Hives. Normally, he’d be fine with that. But he wasn’t allowed to travel anymore, as the SilkWings lived in the Hives now too. He thought he could explore Pantala with some LeafWing friends, but the LeafWings were nowhere to be found. When he did find a lone LeafWing, he was told to never speak to the tribe again due to his heritage. He started to find out about Princess Wasp’s mind control powers, now Queen Wasp. He lived out on the savanna, hunting the occasional gazelle or elephant that wandered by and wasn’t already hunted by a HiveWing hunting party. He grew thin, despite his usually meaty frame, and became bored with life on Pantala. He went to the Poison Jungle and was never seen again. Rumors say that he tried to cross the ocean to find Pyrrhia.

What if Arctic had gotten captured instead of Foeslayer
What if the nightwings lived underground instead of on the volcano (because that was one of Qibli’s ideas of where they lived)
What if ochre was a big wings (my theory is that he isn’t and that’s why the alternates hate each other)

What if Burn and blister had fought on the night that oasis died

What if The ice-wing sea-wing hybrid (I forgot his name) got to the ice kingdom in time to save Glacier
What if Queen Wasp died in battle in the tree wars
What if The leaf wings Won the tree wars
What if Sequoia had Poisoned wasp instead of trying to Mind control her
What if When Hawthorn tried to Mind control wasp it worked
What if Artic Didn’t kill the ice wing guards in their escape
What if Coral and the sea wing army successfully Rescued Gill
What if Turtle Used his animus power to stop the orca statue
What if sunny had a Barb tail
What if sunny had been born under moonlight and got A different power (because fatespeaker is an Empath and was almost born under moonlight, so maybe sunny could have a small power)
What if sunny was an animus
What if There was an ice wing in the prophecy
