I saw Nash the Slash at my old college back in 1986 with a band called FM. He got locked off stage and he asked me to get back in. I led him through another entrance and he was grateful. Just a memory when I herd the name.
I also saw Nash when he opened for Numan so long ago. He was AMAZING. 💙 I still have the original tee shirt sold at the Boston show. MANY years later, my 5 year old son asked "Who's that guy on your shirt?"....I told him everything about Nash's appearance and performance in great detail and how Nash just ROCKED that stage. I'd never seen/heard anything so unbelievably cool. 5 years old my kid was wearing a Nash The Slash tee shirt to bed. Now 29, he finally got to see Nash on UA-cam...tears in his eyes with emotion. Even me....NASH touches your soul. One last thing...After we finished watching Nash's videos we both noticed that our entire living room felt...'full'... like a smile, or something 'soft' nothing negative. It lasted for about 15 minutes then faded. Anyone else ever felt this?
I saw Nash several times, but the best was in my home town at a really cool night club. I was sitting in an overstuffed arm chair 15 feet from the stage, dead center. It was his white CHiPs uniform show. Just so damn cool. Nothing else like Nash.
This show was the best Numan concert I have been to. It was BRILLIANT!!! Great to see the two of them perform together again! I first saw Gary 31 years ago - not tired of him yet.
Thank you so much for this video. I saw Nash the Slash open for Gary on the Pleasure Principle tour in 1980 (gulp), and wondered whether he was even still alive. I saw this year's show in Boston, and Nash, sadly, wasn't there. A real violin adds so much to these songs.
Thanks for this clip, must have been standing too close to the speakers to the right, and couldn't make out the violin as clearly as on this clip. Wicked show, def. my fav Numan gig of all. First North American GN gig & LOVED the line up that ran round the block & the packed venue! Gary really seemed to enjoy the whole show, really into the music esp. with synth out first half. LOVED IT!!
@fotomax65 Odd The people I was surrounded by were all clapping, singing along and cheering. Maybe you were at the back somewhere? But I saw lots of enthusiasm from the sold out crowd.
HAPPY CANADA DAY! Time to bust out the roto-toms, mandolin and mini-Moog to take a journey across time and space with Canada's original progressive rock band … FM! ua-cam.com/video/z0b0uTBbayY/v-deo.html
@fotomax65 Massimo, is that you? You must be kidding man. It was a sold out show and the crowd was really into it. Perhaps it is a cultural thing, tiffosi can be over the top sometimes ;-)
So sad...and he died shortly after. I was a personal friend. We exchanged hand written letters through the mail often, me in Tucson Arizona, he in Toronto.
@ hammersmith-one-'he gets the crowd he deserves'-listen up-it was sold out-and yes he deserves that-what do you have to offer ???-i mean other than your lame attack on gary two-why waste your valuable time watching the video just to attack gary ???-if you dont like him-dont watch-and leave your lame comments for your own videos the show was great-your comments lame-and im thinking that i love you- but i know its only lust-your kiss so sweet-your sweats so sour-yadda yadda yadda
Fantastic unbelievable concert, embarassing attendance... is Toronto people at live events always so cold? No pogo, no dance, no people screaming... it was terrible... I understand why no big names come in Canada...

Nash the Slash is the man, he can get his violin to sync with the keyboards prefectly, He is his own master when it comes to music.
I remember the Nash! I have been a fan of Gary Numan since I was 13!
This show was the best Numan concert I have been to. It was BRILLIANT!!! Great to see the two of them perform together again! I first saw Gary 31 years ago - not tired of him yet.

Why does Numan stand at that daft keyboard just twiddling knobs? As you know he aint playing nothing
I can't believe Nash has called it quits after just reading his website. Depressing...
So sad...and he died shortly after.
