I remember seeing the Night Music show that very night myself. I was 17 years old. I loved all of his recordings and albums I came in contact with ever since, and had the fortune of seeing him in concert in Ottawa, Ontario a few times and had the fortune of meeting him in person as well at the time. He will forever be remembered as a distinctive Canadian progressive artist that everyone young and old should get to know.
I saw him open for Gary Newman’s tour at the Waldorf in sf ! He got two standing ovations and he was the opening act! He is one of my main favorites friends while he was here with us and a very funny and intelligent person who was real old school electro and shook me to my very soul every time I watched him perform! I miss this one so much it hurts. Peace Christo 👽🐕🎶🛸☮️
Allow me to be very late to the party and say this is the first time seeing footage of Nash out of his wrappings! lol I'm an American that found him a handful of years prior to his passing. Loving the Residents, it was a no-brainer to like Nash too. And wow, this early work is super-I need to find this off youtube and more. Thank you for posting it!
I remember finding this EP at a record store when I was 12 years old. I already played violin and Nash's music motivated me to get a mandolin. I also remember there was an article on Nash in Heavy Metal magazine around the same time,
Thank you SO much for sharing this, Dave! I saw this show, as a young bassist, and it, and his music with FM, changed my life, and really broadened my horizons :)...RIP Nash the Slash :(
I had the fortune of watching that episode of Night Music on TVO myself. Loved his music ever since. I fortunately saw at least two of his concerts in Ottawa in the past, and had the fortune to meet him in person at the time too. And saw him as well on TVO when he belonged to FM before he went solo.
thanks for this- i was nashs tech- stage/sound for 10 years or so
Nash will always be my platonic love.

Wayne, I caught Nash once in Ottawa at Barrymore's, opening for Iggy Pop. Man, what a night.

Love NtS. Saw him a few times at a small club in Trenton, NJ.
I have been saying for years that Nash informed my musical sensibilities ever since seeing him on this show as well.
LOVE NASH! 💙💖😐💖 Thank you for posting.
Only saw him with FM, sorry there weren't more times. Great artist.

Thanx 4 Posting!
I've never seen anything with Nash unbandaged, amazing man.
Still addicted after all these years.

Crazy cool! As usual with nash! Peace Christo
Amazing! Thank you for sharing!
This is big fun
In typical humour, every part appears played on the wrong instrument! (Excepting the violin solo.) This album still an absolute fave!
I believe you’re supposed to play this while reading the Ray Bradbury story of the same name.
For those who've never seen Nash unbandaged, here's Cam and Nash back in 1976: ua-cam.com/video/4zose15iYVM/v-deo.html
