Thrilled to find this channel! I have two '85 XJ6 beauties, each needing a multitude of fixes! Hope you reply to questions asked as your time permits! Thanks. Don
Thank you for posting this video Sir. Please pardon me, but I'd like to throw in my Two Cents. I use this same method to start my XJ6 after it sits for a while. This does not prime the fuel pump. It pressurizes the fuel rail . In the spare tire compartment next to the fuel filter is a sort of check valve that maintains a residual pressure in the fuel rail which supplements the cold start injector during the eight second thermotime switch and auxiliary air valve operation. This check valve tends to bleed pressure over a period of time due to age, causing the fuel rail pressure to drop. If you have the Xj6 parts manual, it's on page 1J 03L, part number CAC2028. Thanks again. I enjoy your Videos.
Lovely 5hanks for this mate. I'll try this next time I'm inkering👍👍👍👍👍👍
