Would love to hear what you think about The Ordinary's new product launches! Have you tried any of the 6 products, and can you share your thoughts/experiences below?!

I bought both of the new moisturizers. I use the gel moisturizer for extra hydration before a heavier moisturizer. I use the rich one under high SPF or water resistant sunscreens, because they tend to dry out my skin.

Last week I bought the moisturizer photos and I really like it. It feels li the CT magic cream.

Good point - now that you mention it, the texture is quite similar!

Thanks for another excellent video beautiful Christa! Your skin is absolutely gorgeous! I haven't tried any of TO products ever since they were acquired by EL, but I'm adding the glycolipid cream cleanser, peptide eye serum (do you think this compares to the NIOD FECC?), and natural phytoceramides moisturizer to my wishlist. Oh and I also want to try the brow serum. I totally agree that everything has gotten so expensive these days but luckily, The Ordinary still affordable compare to other brands, including NIOD. I forgot to mention that the only TO product I'm currently using it's the amino acids +B5. I bought it during the November sale 1.5 years ago. This serum is legit! My dry skin loves it! Have a fabulous day and week ahead! ❤😘

I agree completely that their amino acid serum is largely underrated. I have been a long time fan of FECC, and oddly enough a family member that bought it (based on my recommendation) actually had eye irritation from it, and had to give it to me. So - just goes to show you it doesn't work for everyone! Personally - I think the new multi-peptide eye serum stands right along side it. I am going to go back to FECC again to see if my opinions change. I think you will love the glycolipid and phytoceramide products - excellent additions to their line up. Have a wonderful week 💖

I’m definitely going to try the eye serum. I recently had to stop using NIOD FECC after experiencing a reaction under my eyes, which is strange since it wasn’t the first bottle I’ve used, so I’ve been looking for a new product.

Thanks for sharing! A good reminder that some sensitivities can develop at any time and with any product! Did you change anything else in your routine that FECC might have started to interact with badly?

I don’t agree with their price increases. The name is Ordinary, because their products are basic and have very few ingredients in them. If someone has multiple skin concerns they want to address, they have to buy multiple different products from The Ordinary, which can get very expensive now. We may as well just buy a more expensive product, that has all the ingredients we need, right in one product, than dealing with 5-7 different bottles of the Ordinary. Their whole purpose of their low prices in the beginning was because their products were so simple and basic. So how can they increase their prices so drastically, but still keep the same “basic” and “ordinary” products? I think it was a marketing scam right from the start. Make it look cheap and simple in the beginning, then slowly start increasing the prices on those basic, easy to formulate products. 😠

In case you weren't aware, Estee Lauder bought Deciem which is the parent company for The Ordinary. The prices were always low until that merge took place 2 years ago I believe. It's unfortunate.
