I remember several nights in Seoul walking at 3am and not having a single fear at all. I loved that. Mine you I was not crazy to walk in snow at 3am like our beloved Seoul walker here lol but respect man. There is a calmness to walking thru the snow tho.

I can only dream of walking around my city at 3am peacfully. I would be in constant fear of getting mugged or worse, but in Korea it doesn't seem that way. That's nice I wanna do that even if its just for a little while, I've always liked the night, it is a special kind of quiet calm.
I am a Korean and a woman. It is common to meet my friends in the evening and come home alone from 3 to 4 am. And when I can't sleep, I go jogging at 10 to 11 p.m. But I've never thought of it as dangerous. Korea is the safest country in the world.

Here in Medellin Colombia at 4am there are fireworks, loud cars, trams, loud music, motorcycles, motorcycles, and more motorcycles. It's very opposite of this calm and peaceful early hours of Korea.
