Yep. I was impressed that almost everything was running and most still had power. Seoul reminds me of Tagucigalpha Honduras where my wife's family lives. It's in a valley so low areas get the worst of floods. It also has a river running through it.
@@JohnCiaccio There is a huge river in the middle of the city, and the outskirts are a mixture of mountainous basins and plains, and Seoul has a large annual temperature difference and has a very distinct seasonal climate during the year

Not used to a place where a river is so well developed for the public. Thanks to Nathan and the others I have learned much more. Mostly I will need a much longer visit next time!

So much rain - I am pleased you are safe and you didn’t get your car flooded. Here in the UK we are experiencing the hottest weather for a long time. This past 2 weeks have been particularly hot. However next week thunderstorms are predicted but I for one don’t mind as we need the rain as some parts are experiencing drought. 😞Thank you for this vlog - it’s very calming listening to the rain on your umbrella and taking in the scenery at the same time. 💕
This district was my favourite place for an evening walk when I used to live in Seoul. It's crazy how things have changed yet remained the same at the same time. My favourite scene is a personal one--the coffee shop that is next to the Ehwa Girls Highschool, which I used to go every so often as a treat for myself.

Favorite scenes: 4:53 - 5.45 It was as if you entered a new atmosphere where things felt a little eerily. Not in a bad way but definitely different. The contrast in lighting does so much I see now. 1:30:05 I just loved this location 😍 This was very soothing to watch. So soothing at 1 point I almost fell asleep 😅 but i did not! I hope I can have more than one favorite! My top 2 started with the left turn at the green arrow at 27:40-29:15. That whole area of the Living Garden was just stunning! 🤩 I went from “oh, that’s pretty to WOW, that’s gorgeous” 😍 Next was after the Sejong Performing Arts Center from 1:30:10 to the end. That closing shot made watching this on my lunch break all worthwhile. Honorable mention goes to Gwanghwamun Square just past the news station at 1:26:09-1:26:30. Thank you, Nathan 💜
