You have made me loved the watch more than ever before, especially with regards to the accuracy of health analyses. I just bought mine from Samsung here in the US for $470.49. It is the 45MM LTE Version. I'll be receiving mine on Thursday from FedEx according to Samsung. I can't just wait to receive mine. I'm impressed with the increased in storage and the Bluetooth version 5.0. This is the problem i used to have with the Active 2. I hope the LTE version isn't overheating or i hope there's an improvement in connectivity this time round.
so does LTE just mean you dont need to set up like a whole new phone line for the watch? sorry if im wording this wacky, just trying to understand..but with the LTE you can make calls and texts without your phone and without the need to set it up with your service provider or how does that work?

Really liked the review. This is how a review should be presented. Normally we need to see 2- 3 videos to understand this much information. But this review is really awesome, a detail report about all parameters. I feel even Samsung will not be able to explain this much about their product. This will give the viewer a solid conclusion whether to purchase or not, which one to purchase, will work with iOS or not etc. Kudos buddy. Keep rocking...

The LTE is not just for the internet. It is also convenient to make and receive calls, texts if you leave your phone at home or if the phone powered off because battery died. I have the Samsung watch LTE and it helps me when I leave my phone home when I workout outside or clean the garden.
So I decided to get this used instead of the watch 5 or 6 . This guy has all I need in it. I may upgrade in a year or two. I mostly want this for the tap to pay option. I'd also like this for productivity.

Hi, enjoyed the video mate. Can I suggest that turning off the lte on that version might not be pointless if you may only need to use it for calls and messages in very limited settings (obvious one taking a call while on the run). This leads to my other question. Not having owned a smartwatch it would seem natural to me to be able to pair it with Bluetooth headphones for calls and music- yet I never see this demonstrated in any reviews? I have an old iPhone 11 and older s9+ and ultimately I'm kind of split on what phone and watch pair to go with. Thoughts? Thanks for any help!
Incredibly disappointed that I cannot use my existing wireless chargers (for S3 Frontier/Classic), and WTF?! ...they dropped support for MST (Magnetic Secure Transaction), so Samsung Pay is now relegated to 'only' devices with NFC
We can only speculate@@whatsbestnow. With the inclusion of pulse-ox, ecg, and BP, they have packed a good deal of new features into this new watch, all while reducing weight and size by a bit. Add in the fact that NFC is now available in far more POS systems, and one could see where MST technology (however cool it may be) is less of a benefit.
Hey! Loved your honest reviews and i went for Galaxy watch 46mm. Its one of the best so far i have used wearOS & Amazfit watches. None can beat Samsung smartwatches as of now! At 20:25 sleep tracking is very much similar to my Mi bands. Mi bands 2,3,4 & 5 also record the sleep in this manner. Thanks

I too have the same watch. Earlier I could get notifications if I get calls over Whatsapp or Messenger on my watch, but I couldn't answer it on the watch and had to answer them on my android mobile. Now I see that I don't get notified of Whatsapp or Messenger calls. But through your unveiling of the watch, I saw you could even make a Whatsapp call from your watch. Could you comment and let me know why that functionality is no more on my Watch 3 Bluetooth version?

You can use any brand wrist strap on this watch. Silicone bands can last many years, they are durable and water resistant. So yes any 22mm wrist band found on eBay will fit.

Apparently they've added a feature where if you have your watch connected to wifi without your phone you can turn on access to things like messages, calls, emails, and find my phone which sounds crazy useful
I'm trying to decide between LTE or Bluetooth. I'm not worried about calls or text if I'm away from my phone. But can you add songs and podcasts to the BT version to use while running? And does it still track heart rate, distance if away from phone?

Had mine for a week now and have to say it is a great watch better than the other Samsung Watches I have had and I like it much more than the Garmin Fenix 5X I had and think that this one is much better than the Apple crap I had also. Only thing I did was get rid of that Leather Band and replaced it with a much more comfortable Cloth UAG Nato band, it was $40.00 more besides the watch but better than a leather band. Really a good watch well worth the money.
@@moe3754 Well let me just tell you. My first watch was a 46mm stainless BT and the battery life was amazing. I could be doing all kinds of stuff on my watch all day and the battery would always last all day and all night. I decided to return it after two weeks because I wanted to try the LTE and I read that the sensors were better on the Active2 so I went to Verizon and got the Active2 LTE. The battery life was horrible and the touch bezel was annoying. After two weeks I was increasingly depressed about the battery and touch bezel so I traded it in for the 46mm stainless LTE. It is fantastic because the battery always lasts all day and the physical bezel is so much better than the touch bezel. If the Watch3 has the same battery as the Active2 I don't think I would be happy with that. I want to be able to enjoy all of the features of the watch all day without having to charge it twice a day.
@@moe3754 I think I would enjoy the Garmin for exercising because I do a lot of mountain biking and the Galaxy Watch is very difficult to glance at my heart rate while exercising. I used to have a cheap Polar watch with a chest strap 20 years ago and it was perfect for viewing my heart rate while exercising. I'm disappointed I'm not able to do the same thing with my Galaxy Watch.
Can we download map data/route (after walking or trekking) from watch and view it on Google maps ? Or is there any option to download saved map data from watch in GPX Or XML format ?
I'm a bit underwhelmed. My watch didn't receive the update for the blood oxygen feature. And, it says I have the latest update when I try to manually update. I expect it will happen soon enough. Also, I purchased the LTE version and having T-Mobile troubles.
I see a problem...the charger of my Note 10 Plus comes with a usb-C to usb-C cable (and newer top samsung phones too) and the wireless charger of this Watch 3 and my Watch Active 2 use usb-A. I don´t want to carry 2 different chargers

Could you make a video on how to set relevant ECG alerting thresholds? Such thresholds are RR interval, ratio of RR intervals between adjacent cardiac cycles, altitude ratio of R/S waves, duration ratio of R/S waves, QTc (corrected QT), etc. They indicate time limit of the cardiac cycle, ventricular premature beats, atrial premature beats, chances of sudden cardiac death, etc. In addition, what's more important, vitally important, is what measures to be taken when such thresholds are triggered, especially when you are alerted without medical professional/s nearby. These timely emergency measures in time usually save lives.

Is this any good to use with the Iphone 11 pro? I really dont like the looks of the Apple series 5 and would want a replacement. What watch did you get bluetooth or lte because if you got the bluetooth of course it will disconnect and since its a smart watch it can't handle beats headphones

You can connect Galaxy Buds (or any Bluetooth headphones/speakers) to your Watch directly by going to the Bluetooth settings on the watch and pairing the buds there.

You need to have One your data plan plus u need to activate your watch to Verizon/T-Mobile etc.... Sprint to work your watch to work when the phone is off
I'm quite excited to see the live walking activitiy screen that shows 5 parameters: time, steps, duration, distance and heart rate! The active 2 watch can't do that! Any ideas whether active 2 watch will have a software update to do such?

Unless ur super important and reality a lot of people are glued to their phones more often. So Bluetooth is sufficient if ur around your yard.

Yes you can add music to the BT version and yes it does track heart rate and distance. There is a very good built in GPS.

@@ron9269 I am not a battery watcher so it is of no consequence I just charge it when it needs it. To me battery life is nothing that is important.
@@moe3754 Well let me just tell you. My first watch was a 46mm stainless BT and the battery life was amazing. I could be doing all kinds of stuff on my watch all day and the battery would always last all day and all night. I decided to return it after two weeks because I wanted to try the LTE and I read that the sensors were better on the Active2 so I went to Verizon and got the Active2 LTE. The battery life was horrible and the touch bezel was annoying. After two weeks I was increasingly depressed about the battery and touch bezel so I traded it in for the 46mm stainless LTE. It is fantastic because the battery always lasts all day and the physical bezel is so much better than the touch bezel. If the Watch3 has the same battery as the Active2 I don't think I would be happy with that. I want to be able to enjoy all of the features of the watch all day without having to charge it twice a day.

@@moe3754 I think I would enjoy the Garmin for exercising because I do a lot of mountain biking and the Galaxy Watch is very difficult to glance at my heart rate while exercising. I used to have a cheap Polar watch with a chest strap 20 years ago and it was perfect for viewing my heart rate while exercising. I'm disappointed I'm not able to do the same thing with my Galaxy Watch.
Can we download map data/route (after walking or trekking) from watch and view it on Google maps ? Or is there any option to download saved map data from watch in GPX Or XML format ?
can you help me know if the GPS accuracy , heart rate and SPO2 is as accurate as the Galaxy watch 4?

I'm a bit underwhelmed. My watch didn't receive the update for the blood oxygen feature. And, it says I have the latest update when I try to manually update. I expect it will happen soon enough. Also, I purchased the LTE version and having T-Mobile troubles.
I returned it and ordered the WiFi version.
I see a problem...the charger of my Note 10 Plus comes with a usb-C to usb-C cable (and newer top samsung phones too) and the wireless charger of this Watch 3 and my Watch Active 2 use usb-A. I don´t want to carry 2 different chargers
Use reverse wireless charging on ur note 10 plus. Have a wireless powerbank with u. The Samsung powerbank can charge wirelessly and with wire.

Can you use it as a GPS with maps? Also if you're in a Wi-Fi environment can you leave the phone in your locker and work the watch as a phone?

Could you make a video on how to set relevant ECG alerting thresholds? Such thresholds are RR interval, ratio of RR intervals between adjacent cardiac cycles, altitude ratio of R/S waves, duration ratio of R/S waves, QTc (corrected QT), etc. They indicate time limit of the cardiac cycle, ventricular premature beats, atrial premature beats, chances of sudden cardiac death, etc. In addition, what's more important, vitally important, is what measures to be taken when such thresholds are triggered, especially when you are alerted without medical professional/s nearby. These timely emergency measures in time usually save lives.
the important I have a watch and I can use it too for daily basis such as running measuring my pulse and customized my watch faces and using for important calls and messages and also for gps when I'm locating my nearest place and destination

Is this any good to use with the Iphone 11 pro? I really dont like the looks of the Apple series 5 and would want a replacement. I know I cant use some of the features like calling and replying to texts. That being said, would the galaxy watch 2 be more worthwhile to puchase compared to the watch 3 to be used along the Iphone 11 pro?
Wherever I connect my beats to my watch my music sounds weak. I tried to leave my phone in the car but it also kept disconnecting. I'm I doing something wrong?
What watch did you get bluetooth or lte because if you got the bluetooth of course it will disconnect and since its a smart watch it can't handle beats headphones

You can connect Galaxy Buds (or any Bluetooth headphones/speakers) to your Watch directly by going to the Bluetooth settings on the watch and pairing the buds there.

why not get a rotation counter?
You need to have One your data plan plus u need to activate your watch to Verizon/T-Mobile etc.... Sprint to work your watch to work when the phone is off
