The new watch3 has less battery + bigger screen than older galaxy watch (472 vs 340MAh). Is the new Tizen + BT 5.0 will really give more battery lifetime than an old watch? The only reason why interested - its blood pressure, but this feature is not available on the launch. Sounds really disappointing :(
Lte is more expensive since it allows you to connect to a mobile network using esim, and make calls, messages, internet browsing and music and radio streaming without a phone.

bought the active 2 a few months ago and had the same problem with my p20 pro. now with the oppo find x2 pro everything works fine. maybe the watches dont work that good with bluetooth 4.2 on none-Samsung phones.
well the watches definitely work the best with Samsung devices but ive been thinkering with the app launch on my p20 since i thought the extreme battery saving on huawei devices could be the problem so i turned all the apps that control the watch such as the wearable app and the plugin to manage manually and left the wearable app running in the background and so far no disconnects
Samsung needs to bring back MST. Its the only reason why I haven't upgraded from my Gear S3. Samsung always has a nack of removing important features just cause they feel people aren't using it. I work in small areas a lot of times for my job and I've noticed at these small corner stores and even post offices, they don't have the upgraded pay terminals....with MST you can still tap to pay, even if it's an older system. Thanks again Samsung for making me have to carry around 2 devices when the lte should have made this a one and done device
Just to understand it correctly, I can go for a run with the watch only and listen to my spotify and keep tracking of the run. Or do I need to take my phone with me? Is it only possible with the LTE version?

From Italians reviews, I can tell you that it does 2 and a half days using GPS 1 hour/day
Talking about 45 mm version, without lte
Thank you for the video. Link for watch band please?? 😄
I just got mine yesterday its takes some time to get use to it. Only thing, im having Spotify connections issues between watch and phone... idk what do to I've tried reseting but nothing...ooo and all while using the galaxy buds. I have s20 ultra i shouldn't be having to deal with that.
Try contacting samsung about those issues
How is call audio quality when using it for phone calls?
I saw Spotify, does it support Pandora and UA-cam Music when you are not connected to the phone? When you are on LTE?
Thanks TK
Great. My wife cant tell Im talking to her through the watch. Very impressive

Thanks for the reply!
How can u install messenger & WhatsApp on your watch?
very useful and amazing device ❤️🔥
Thanks for nice video TK. What is your wrist size, pleaase?
The new watch3 has less battery + bigger screen than older galaxy watch (472 vs 340MAh). Is the new Tizen + BT 5.0 will really give more battery lifetime than an old watch? The only reason why interested - its blood pressure, but this feature is not available on the launch. Sounds really disappointing :(
With the always on face it's worst. The 2.5 days is with raise to wake option.
Please please help. Can i just go to Vodafone and pick up a prepaid sim and use this phone like a phone. Different number than my current phone?
So iphone’s messaging app will not work? neither will what’s app or viber?
Can you connect the LTE version for Bluetooth as well
Yes that is possible
I have a confusion which one is more expensive bt of lte
And whais difference between them
Lte is more expensive since it allows you to connect to a mobile network using esim, and make calls, messages, internet browsing and music and radio streaming without a phone.
I didn't like the leather band either. I used my original band from my Gear S3 watch.
I feel it's something you need to try to feel the need, i tried a cheap smartband and now i need that thing an it has not many features
It's one of those thing that you don't need it, but want it
what is the watch face you using on video?
Is using samsung galaxy watch 3 with samsung Note 20 ultra gives access to three numbers in the same time, I mean two from smartphone + one from the watch
I have the active 2 lte and I think watch 3 is the same, on my s20 ultra i use extra for my messaging app. I still get messages to my watch. i can even reply or send messages from my watch, a pop up comes up informing me that Samsung messaging is not my default messaging app and would I like to set Samsung as the default I just close this and it still sends receives.
You order this at amazon also is this unlock lte works with any carrier and how do you like it so far?
Can you add as many apps from the play store or tizent restricts it? I use apple music on my android phone. Can i listen if i buy the LTE version? Thanks for the video.
Only Spotify subscription. You can save to watch however up to 8 gigs
Link for watch band ?
Just ordered my LTE model with trade in and Father's day sale total $ 267.00😁
Sir.. Can I send and receive text messages when LTE enable...Pls guide
I have the gear frontier lte. Mostly so I can call 911 mountain biking without bringing my phone. Love my watch. Would upgrade for Apple style heart monitor otherwise, I'll keep what I have
Can bluetooth also make calls??
i just purchased the 42mm galaxy watch and im getting disconnects on my Huawei p20 but tbh im not sure if its my phone or the watch that is causing the problem other than that the watch is great
bought the active 2 a few months ago and had the same problem with my p20 pro. now with the oppo find x2 pro everything works fine. maybe the watches dont work that good with bluetooth 4.2 on none-Samsung phones.
well the watches definitely work the best with Samsung devices but ive been thinkering with the app launch on my p20 since i thought the extreme battery saving on huawei devices could be the problem so i turned all the apps that control the watch such as the wearable app and the plugin to manage manually and left the wearable app running in the background and so far no disconnects
Hi. At last video for LTE of GW3. Thanks. How does WhatsApp work? Call, messages, audio .. everything ok if I leave my phone for a few hours at home?
Samsung needs to bring back MST. Its the only reason why I haven't upgraded from my Gear S3. Samsung always has a nack of removing important features just cause they feel people aren't using it. I work in small areas a lot of times for my job and I've noticed at these small corner stores and even post offices, they don't have the upgraded pay terminals....with MST you can still tap to pay, even if it's an older system. Thanks again Samsung for making me have to carry around 2 devices when the lte should have made this a one and done device
Where did your find your silicone band?
Just to understand it correctly, I can go for a run with the watch only and listen to my spotify and keep tracking of the run. Or do I need to take my phone with me? Is it only possible with the LTE version?
No need for your phone
No mention of the LTE set up or functionality.
What watch face is that? Thanks
So as a non Samsung Android user, is this watch worth it or will I be locked out of most of the useful features
I am using the it on the V60 right now and it seems to definitely be lacking some features. I will receive the Note 20 tommorow. I will update after I receive it.
@@rl00821116 Can you name the missing features? How does receiving text messages work over lte? How about phone calls over lte?
You need a Samsung Galaxy to get used the full future's on this watch
Great review, thanks. I have a SGWA2 44mm and battery life is about 3 - 4 days. Now wonder If a take SGW3. If I used mostly with Bluetooth connection, and maybe 1-2 hours at LTE, will the battery last more than a day? I hope at least 2 days battery life?
What's the difference between lte or Bluetooth? With Bluetooth will it still shows call and can receive calls?
yes notifications transfer over the internet to the watch when you are far away. you need to make sure you service provider supports that feature
@@TKBay will it not work just with Bluetooth to make and receive calls?
Awesome review...does it support Amazon music?
I was surprised to see you are in Santa Clarita. I used to live there almost 2 years ago. Before that I was in Lancaster. Now I am in Simi Valley.
Small world
Where did you get the rubber band?... I'm getting the GW3 on Monday and don't want the leather band.
Hey pal I have an iPhone and Samsung phone. Can I connect both devices to this watch at a time? Sorry I'm a noob🙈
I would like to kno if anyone knows . Are the speakers and mics the same on both versions ? I feel on the Bluetooth version on a phone call is really low since having a Samsung gear 2 and it was louder
Will the notification settings be available for OnePlus devices .??
I'm thankful I don't pay taxes in my state. No state income tax or sales tax. It's the live Free or die state!
Watching this on a note 20 ultra with the Galaxy watch 3 top of the line(LTE,GPS and WI-FI)
I’ve enjoyed a few of your videos I just found, but I’m subscribing because of you obvious love of DBZ haha
I appreciate you being a fan of the #dbz Manga and thank you for the support
How much is your monthly payment for LTE? I ordered the LTR version by accident but i don't want to have to pay a lot extra for the LTE service
@@TheReal_Invictus ok so the watch is paid for and i only pay 40 a month through Tmobile so 50 a month all together isnt bad thank you!
Do you have to connect to LTE? Was thinking you could just use it as a Bluetooth watch if you wanted to.
@@KeithDII well ive had it for about 2 weeks now and haven't connected to LTE so im ok with just bluetooth i was thinking of the days when i just want to jog and not have a big phone in my shorts just my watch and ear buds ya know
@@dequince38 how are you liking it? I'm about to pull the trigger in one and can't decide between LTE or Bluetooth. It will be my first smart watch. Kinda leaning towards the LTE version.
@@KeithDII the only gripe i have is the battery life ...i upgraded from the active 2 so im used to not charging it as much but other than that im liking it there is really no difference between the LTE and the bluetooth version so if you're sold on the galaxy 3 i would just go with the bluetooth version...the next option would be the active 2 but once you get the feel and the look of the galaxy 3 with the added Bezel there's no going back lol..so it depends on your budget and style
...does that make sense? To be honest i forgot i had the LTE version lol
Currently have Galaxy watch. Have had samsung watches since Samsung's first watch. Every single one was great for first year or so. Then not so much. Right now mine went from registering 40 plus floors climbed while I'm in bed asleep?! To no floors at all any time. Alti baromoter will wildly go up or down thousands of feet again while I'm watching Netflix in my living room. So is 500 bucks for a watch that's only reliable in the warranty period? You tell me
I really wish if Samsung would have launched note 20 and note 20ultra with Snapdragon soc in India rather than the old exynos processor which really isn't upto the mark
they really should just move to an all QC SOC. I am with you on that
Try importing from Hong Kong via wonda mobile, that's what I'm considering. Absolutely agree Snapdragon all the way 😎👍
can we activate and deactivate the NFC easily ?
I know some health features have activated. Do they work?
Can you stream Spotify music/podcasts during the run? (without downloading it before)
Great question!
My Google messages notification work on my watch 3
I just bought the LTE 45 mm version in black
Does it support Amazon music by any chance?
Thank you for the info
What doesn't work if you don't use Samsung's messages? Confused at that
Does it have walkie talkie like apple watches?
