    Turning right before dropping into the quarter pipe was really awesome advice! I've been trying to build the confidence to drop in fakie for a long time and when you said that, it really clicked for me. Going to try this tomorrow morning (hopefully before the weed-wackers take over the park lol)

    I used to skate 15 years ago and just started again last week and haven’t stopped since! I was using substances up until couple years ago which I could never find a good enough replacement until I found this love again. Thanks for re introducing me !

    I fell on my face today trying to roll backwards and I find this in my recommended as soon as I left the skatepark. It’s like fate is screwing with me. 😂

      Also how to carve a bowl switch! Very different things. I can carve at high speed to the top on my dominant side, but struggling to go more than a couple feet up switch.

    Dude I’m learning so much! I’m a veteran rollerblader that just got back into skating and even tho there are many people that teach, you are the Best teacher by far in my opinion. I’m so stoked to practice everything I’m learning. Thank you again for the great videos.🙏

    Thanks for the tip! Gonna practice this evening. Damn weed whackers lol. I just got back to blading after an 18 year hiatus, now 32. I just started this channel if you want to keep track of my progression back. I’m so bad right now, but my goal is to encourage other skaters who aren’t great to put themselves out there and try.

    Note to myself: Try jumping onto 30cm wide curbs 180' fakie slowly first before attempting it high speed.
    But in general is full fakie skating on a skating (each trick has to start or end fakie) an awesome and challenging experience!

    Really feel like we are skipping a step here, do you have a tutorial specific to jumping in to the quarter that i missed >? The regular drop in (1 foot on coping and stepping in) i have and i'm pretty confident skating fakie. But no way am i ready to jump into a quarter like that (fakie or regular).

    Hey guys i got a problem here. I got some old Valo EB1 and the tongue of the boot is just solid plastic so it digs into my shin whenever push against it and it bruises me badly and makes it hard to skate. Any tips on that? I was thinking of either drilling holes in it to make it bendier or just using the tongue as a stress ball to make it softer.

    • @acostablades8138
      @acostablades8138  4 роки тому

      Man thats a bummer. When i skated valos i had a similar problem. I replaced/Upgraded the liner and it made all the difference. Some times with time the liners lose their comfort.

    I know obviously going backwards is unnatural but rolling backwards down a ramp... I can’t do it. My back skate always decides to just go on the toe stop or start to turn around. Struggle.
    Oh whoops: I’m on quads lol but the technicalities are the same I would say 😂

    I'm 31 and I really want to try to get back into aggressive inline! However, Every website I look at doesn't have skates in my size. My shoe size is a 10.5 So I've been looking for 10-10.5 sized skate. Has buying skates always been this difficult or is it due to COVID and the influx of people picking up old hobbies?

    Awesome. I was just learning this. Got the banks carnt bring myself to do the quarters yet. Is it easier to go to a small on e first or a medium one for a slower transition?

    • @bernsahr
      @bernsahr 4 роки тому +1

      Is it the fear which is holding you back or the technique?
      For less fear = smaller quarter, easier technique = medium quarter
      For me it help to roll up forward until i locked in on the coping, then skating backwards down. After that i started at the coping and let myself falling back (aka fakie drop in), then it is a short step to fakie jump in

    • @oldmanrolling3770
      @oldmanrolling3770 4 роки тому +1

      @@bernsahr definitely fear. I can roll up stall and back in front and back and 180 but carnt bring myself to throw myself backwards off the top.

    • @Sapfo26

      @@oldmanrolling3770 I feel you, scarry shit😖

    • @bernsahr
      @bernsahr 4 роки тому +1

      @@oldmanrolling3770 If you can roll up forwards, stall, then roll down backwards, you can also just standing on the coping and drop in backwards (literally the same movement). After doing that 5-6 times (for me more like 10 times) slowly roll onto the coping backwards (from the top), lock in on the coping and drop in backwards. After that you are ready to roll in backwards, and this will develope to jump in backwards.
      But each step will cost a huge amount of willpower and commitment of course.

    Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world. He died for the people that you hate, the people that are neglected daily, the people that are abusing drugs, he died for murderers, thieves, homosexuals, people that cheat on their partners, people that falsely accuse others, and more. Jesus is the only way to heaven. Anything else is a deception. With Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, He set an example for us. We now work out our salvation by changing the way that we live by imitating Christ. We are called to no longer live in sin, but fight against it for the rest of our lives with the help of Jesus
