I am not much sure about how to adjust valve clearance / adjustment on this engine. Do I need to buy extra special tool for them..
I am about to rent some Porsche factory tool for cam lock & crank lock,yet not so sure about valve adjustment tools.
@@vicky-nc3to No valve clearance adjustment needed on a 993 as it is hydraulic. Unless you have GT2 rocker arms!
I have installed engine back & completed timing with the proper Porsche tools, everything is ok..no leak..

I have used 574 locktite at most of the location, what do you recommend to use on crank seal, nose bearing ,cylinder head seal, timing case cover gasket & rocker cover gasket..?
Awesome video, thank you for putting an effort to capture this! Curious - what were the symptoms that forced the disassembling? Oil leaks from cam boxes? Anything else? Did pitted camshaft cause noticeable problems?

How do they clean the motors so well, before disassembly?
