Also you said a” sensor tells the engine it’s spinning and that what’s get the fuel n spark going “ … is this sensor your talking about the crank sensor?

Question my alarm will not turn off. I hit a pot hole now the immo is not receiving the signal to turn the alarm off and crank the engine? (Turned the key in door won't turn off)Is there a relay for the immobilizer or is it a bad unit that it's not receiving signal from the key remote to switch the alarm off and crank the engine?

Hmmmm Given the fact that this started after you hit pot hole....I think that your car probably has a loose or broken "alarm contact"...(radio, doors, glovebox, etc).
However, you may have more than 1 problem and also have a defective immobilizer which can no longer receive signals from the remote.
We can check these components for your very easily when you send your ECU set to the office.
The next step is to send the ECU Set here after you fill out the Repair Form:
      www.ecudoctors.com/pages/repair-and-return-form
Call 954-652-1496 or email us to set you up with more infomation: info@ecudoctors.com

Howdy, is this system different for a 93? What's different? I have just been contacted with 93 Carrera with a no start situation, I've not gone there to check myself but I've been told no spark no fuel. The owner says the ECU has been toyed with and I've worked on my own 997 before, not so sure about the electronics of the 993, can you tell me next steps to take and if we have t change parts to narrow it down to the right parts

The 1993 models should be 964 which do not use key fobs to start the car and don't have immobilizer either.
They do have an ECU of course which could be bad. It is however MUCH simpler to remedy than a 993.
Call us to discuss 954-652-1496 or info@ecudoctors.com

I know how to use mine. You do not explain how the system works correctly. Thanks but no thanks.
