Reminds me of the one ring and Gollum.. Granting him unnaturally long life, leaving him a frail, mental broken creeper... I get those vibes off this dude!
"You take the blueprint, the story ends, you wake up in your bed feeling refreshed and stable. You take the steroids, you stay in the gym, and I show you how big those muscles can grow."
My name is Patrick Bateman. I’m 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I’ll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial masque which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.
Bryan Johnson is a fascinating example of a fundamentalist Christian who has replaced God with AI. He is the living embodiment of the age and views himself in prophetic terms. Absolutely terrifying.
I just saw one of Brian Johnson’s shorts and hella thought of you lol. I get his project. It’s actually incredibly unprecedented and I respect it. At the same time we have a lot of basic social psych 101 data that suggests the key to long term vitality is community and the arts. Having a sense of belonging as well as a craft to let the Boyo juice fly. I don’t think the guy is passionless and cold or boring. He’s actually reasonably charismatic and funny in many ways. He has a soul lol. However, I think the real Brian Johnson 2.0 project would be introducing art and culture into the conversation. Like I haven’t heard him discuss dancing a single time and outside of diet and formal exercise that is probably the most healthy thing one can do. Like this dude doesn’t even discuss psychology it feels like a very 18th century approach to wellness haha
You can keep both strong at once, there is no middle ground only a false dichotomy for those weak of will. Once you meet a man who breaks a dichotomy you are changed. I have seen a man who died past an age most would consider normal yet not from age, and whose mind and body remained sharp and powerful until darkness fell. He had no middle point he lived his life not as a man but as a will.

Being naturally jacked is already "vital" enough, no?
"profound mental weakness" as if being on gear isn't harder than being natural. When you're on gear, you have to worry about everything that a natural person has to worry about along with the added side effects that it brings and the management of said side effects. I think the pay off is well worth the risk that comes with the endeavor. Calling it childish is childish in of itself and only displays a close minded approach to a rather complex topic both logically and ethically
@@spencermunch5221 I think the amount of worry a person on steroid will endure is not sign of strenght, it's also a sign of weakness. They accept the dark effects of the forcing, in order to achieve the unnatural results. I can't think of it being worth when the result is the achievement of an impossible body that do not exists in the natural life of a human being. And this impossible body is desired because a natural strong body is not enough to make that person feel good with himself. We "hate" girls who go through a lot of surgery and end up looking like a mockery of a real woman, with all the sexual features extremized in an unnatural way. I see the same thing in males taking steroids in order to look like giants. If that's their weird way to create art, then I can't judge. But art is not the reason most of people take steroids, that's why I think it is childish

I don't know man, I think taking steroids is a sign of profound mental weakness and a childish shortcut to boost self-confidence unnaturally
Do you think there are any selfless reasons to use steroids?

Lmao. "Die of a heart attack in your 40s because your liver gives out or something." And don't "perspire" too early.
Thoughts on bio hacking for optimal brain function?
Good use of the interstellar music haha !

Nice video
Both Bryans have the same age as well...
I don't agree. Humans can live over 100 years and be almost as vital as 30 years old
