The Walther PPK and Smith and Wesson Model 29 are highly associated with 007 and Dirty Harry respectively. Making them instantly iconic by association. The Beretta 92 series are essentially the definitive action hero movie gun. I think the Colt Single Action Army is actually the most used gun in movie history and the most iconic handgun of all time. Glad to see it here. I’d say the Thompson and Uzi series are the most iconic submachine guns in movies and all time. The M60 is the most iconic belt-fed machine gun in movies. Especially because of the Rambo series. Cheater picks like the AR and AK rifles, 1911 and Glock pistols are of course all over movies since they are incredibly famous in real life to this day.

I don't know how many parts you're planning for iconic movie guns (there are so many), but the SPAS-12 deserves a spot.
Another candidate is the Tommy gun. It is instantly recognizable in any prohibition-era gangster flick.
I assume the PPK will make part 2.
I will _almost_ disagree with the comments calling for the M9/92. It's iconic, so I agree with its inclusion, but it's iconic for its ubiquity. It mostly serves the role of "generic pistol" and is seldom discussed by the characters.
edit to add the Steyr AUG. That's the "bad guy gun" I remember from Die Hard more than the MP5.

    • @stevenbobbybills

-Beretta 92 (Die Hard, Lethal Weapon and a bunch of other 80s, 90s and 2000s action movies)

I really wanna see if a EAA Witness 10mm barrel and spring would work in a Baby Eagle 45, cuz I'd love to have a 10mm Baby Eagle. As a bigtime Desert Eagle enthusiast I'd like to mention:
1: You missed a caliber. They also come in 429DE.
2: When using "revolver" cartridges, i.e. .357MAG and .44MAG you should make sure they're pretty "hot" load cartridges so they have enough power to cycle properly and consistently.
Also, although it applies with all variants and especially the 50AE, grip and handling is one of the most important aspects of firing that monster. Reliability is 95% of the time affected by underpowered ammunition or poor handling. It's gas operated. It isn't your grandpa's 1911.

I'm happy for you that you get to buy/test so many guns and review them all for us, just wish you would include more "budget' guns that most of us are limited to. I'm on disability and I save for over a year to afford a $350 gun and a single box of ammo to run through it. I haven't shot a thousand rounds of any caliber in the last 20 years! But I guess watching someone get to enjoy the high dollar stuff appeals to some, just not me.Of course, there is only one free range in the area, 25 miles away, state owned and very strict. NO rapid fire, NO drawing from a holster, and no picking up your brass! The next closest free range is 117 miles away, also owned by the state! There is one range, private membership, about 20 miles away, but membership is $1k a year! Oh, and be glad prices in Iowa are that affordable, the same guns here in NE Indiana are around $100 more per gun...
