Here's an idea for a challenge. Deny supply (target depots, pylons, and overlords)
The plat players on your channel are surprisingly good. I was definitely above the metal leagues, but I would probably loose to most of the plat players I have seen on your channel.
how long ago were you above the metal leagues? players are getting better as the game becomes less popular and only the more serious players remain
Curious to see if zerg is going to do better than this.
My initial guess was that zerg would be the worst, cause hatcheries only give 6 supply compared to 15 for a Nexus.
But looking at this, needing to build warp prisms to power stuff (warp prisms themselves eating precious supply), and needing to fill your bases with nexuses that couldn't even build anything and had nothing to chronoboost seemed so inefficient. At least with a base full of hatcheries the hatcheries can build stuff you care about, and you can build stuff in every base.
And...honestly, the fact that your supply goes down when you morph a building as zerg will also probably be an upside for zerg--you frequently needed to kill probes in this challenge to free up supply, but morphing a building has got to be a much better way to free up supply.

This looks like a campaign where you are learning warp prism skills, finding a long lost expedition base without pylons and powering them up with prisms.

I also think observers are really strong mechanics. They cost little 1 supply but give you so much info all game long
Challenge suggestion: You have to build Mothership before 10mins and if you lose the Mothership, you lose the game.
Protoss swifting power between stargates, robos and cannons depending on the situation at 24:10 is the most satisfying thing ever, lore accurate like in real life wars

SC1 Nexus gives 9 supply. SC1 Zerg start with 9 supply, 1 from the Hatchery and 8 from the Overlord.
Actually, SC1 nexus gave 9 supply. meanwhile terran CC gave 10.

Eh..no? That pylon had no impact. The oracle would have attacked anyway and was out of energy when the Carriers arrived. The pylon was Bad for him, as stated in the video.

Suggestion: bonus prize for challengers that actually win too and guess the challenge correctly. That way if they kill you too quickly, they don't have enough scouting or info for the guess. But if they go too long, they risk losing.

I guess I don't understand rapid fire. I have it set to "C" and select the skill or action I want from any given unit, then hold down shift+C. I use it for everything with Zerg and toss. Phenix lift ups and fun with rapid fire.

You shouldn't be allowed to rebuild your pylon. It makes things more fun and interesting. Also provides an interesting weak point and handicap against lower ranked players. It's like if you're playing chess and the pylon is the king.

From what I understood most of these challenges are suggested by the community and I think it would be fair to give a shout out to the person who had the challenge idea at the beginning of the video.

I know a different challenge with an amusing loophole, but it requires you to play zerg. Can you beat grandmasters without building overlords? All you gotta do is make infestors and mind control a probe/scv and then build their buildings and supply.

the way to use artosis pylon is to fit 2 structure perfectly split next to a pylon. then expand it outward. u will see u can fit 2 cannons next to the pylon after u fill the structure

You should try cannon drops just rush warp prism with 3 zealots 2 probes and try to get up some cannons in the enemy base
The problem with the warp prisms you need more than 1 to power stuff. Otherwise, you end up in an Artosis pylon situation.

I would have figured one pylon only as well, but I've always loved the idea of only one pylon but was never good enough to win a game

How about a "workers are innocent" challenge where you're not allowed to destroy any buildings and can't kill workers unless those workers attack you? You can only kill combat units. Damaging buildings is fine, casualties of war exist, you're just not allowed to order your units to open fire on them (a-move still counts as ordering your units to do it, so does moving and letting them idle near buildings / workers).
Exception for defensive structures - you can destroy cannons, batteries, pylons (pylons are just floaty crystals, no workers inside), turrets, bunkers, spores, spines.
