      FlamSparks I did see the film in Spain which was so cool. But LA Spanish is easier for me to understand.

      Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but if I'm not mistaken, the Spanish version of the song was used in both dubs.

      FlamSparks Yes, at least both versions used the same song, which was sang by Alex Ubago. I know that because I'm a big fan of this movie and of the singer. Besides, I'm mexican X)
      By the way, I love your translations

    Ho appena scoperto il tuo canale e stavo girando un po’ qua e là. Devo dire che per quanto io sia abituata alla versione (magnifica) in italiano, anche questa mi piace parecchio. La voce del cantante sembra anche più calzante per il personaggio di Jim che dopotutto è un ragazzino. Ottimo lavoro anche per la traduzione 😉

      Grazie mille ^^ Io non vado eccessivamente matta per la versione italiana e preferisco quella norvegese. Ma se vuoi un consiglio, le mie preferite sono la versione spagnola, quella finlandese e quella islandese. Se hai tempo da perdere, suggerisco un ascolto ;)

    Adoro il norvegese!*^* Sarà che io ho proprio un debole per le lingue germaniche, però questa versione -testo specialmente- fa concorrenza a quella meravigliosa che è la nostra

    • @FlamSparks
      @FlamSparks  7 років тому +1

      Anch'io vado matta per le lingue germaniche e anche a me il norvegese piace molto * ^ * Però questa versione non mi fa impazzire particolarmente, la trovo un po' piatta (e i norvegesi sanno fare di meglio) :/
      Grazie mille * ^ * Il programma che uso è _Sony Vegas pro 13_ ;)

    • @dianaelvendottir9593
      @dianaelvendottir9593 7 років тому +1

      Be' sì, sicuramente potevano fare di meglio, eppure il testo mi piace troppo XD E per quanto riguarda le lingue germaniche... ancora devo capacitarmi di come Notre Dame sia stato tradotto solo in inglese per quanto riguarda questo ceppo linguistico ahahahah!
      Comunque grazie a te :3

    • @FlamSparks
      @FlamSparks  7 років тому

      Eh, purtroppo i musical che non vengono da Broadway è difficile che abbiano una traduzione in lingue germaniche, soprattutto nordiche. Però devo dire che mi capacito poco del fatto che, tra tutti questi paesi, nemmeno l'Austria abbia mai prodotto una sua versione in tedesco :/

      Ok, warning: I made this quite in a rush, and there are a couple of passages I couldn't figure out :/
      Det er noe søtt og nesten fint - There’s something sweet and nearly fine
      Han var stygg og ganske grovt og litt forpint - He was ugly, quite rude and a bit scary
      Nå han er snilt, jeg undrer på - Now he’s kind, I wonder
      Om jeg var blind som ikke skjønte det før nå - If I could have been blind not to see it until now
      Hun så min vei, jeg synes jeg så - She looked my way, I think I saw
      En reaksjon jeg nesten ikke kan forstå - A reaction I could hardly understand
      Hun overså de stygge klør - She watched beyond the hideous claws
      Og jeg så noe ut som jeg ikke har sett før - And I saw something I had never seen before
      Pen er han sant nok ikke - It’s true, he is not good looking
      Ingen vakker prins og stor sjarmør - No sweet prince and big charms
      Men det er noe i blikket - But there’s something in his look
      Ja, det er må deg jeg ikke han har innsett før - Yes, [_couldn’t understand_] I hadn’t realized before
      Hvem kunne sett? Man sier det som! - [_didn’t understand this either_]
      Hvem kunne gjettet de fant frem på egen hånd?
      Det er så rart! - Who could have guessed they would have found each other’s hand? It’s so weird
      Vi får nok se, hva foregår - We just have to see what’s going to be
      Nå får vi vente litt å se hvordan det går - Now wait a little and see how this will go

    Do you only translate songs and not film acting scenes?

    • @FlamSparks
      @FlamSparks  6 років тому

      I have sometimes uploaded solely spoken parts, but I rather translate songs because their adaptation requires often changes in the lyrics that I find much interesting to explore, whereas spoken parts are usually more directly translated, no surprises.

    I assume havn is meant to mean form and not harbour.

    • @timothyluzon2645
      @timothyluzon2645 6 років тому

      Eddie one can assume that it does mean harbour, but the word itself in this context can mean home, or conclusion. A riddle with no defined answer so to speak.

    • @feliix628

      Hi, Norwegian here! Havn actually means harbour, but they may have used it to symbolize something, or used it as a metaphore.
