All information about Bonds is with the SBI. Was it not meant to minimise black money usage in elections? Let the Apex court suggest a better solution to stop use of black money. Mrs IG had reportedly told Mr YB Chavan, who sought to unearth black money, 'don't you want to win elections, Mr Chavan?'

I think it's fair to say that the system (of electoral bonds) is better than what existed before that. The problem however, is of anonymity (which leads to unchecked corruption like tax evasion) and using ED and other authorities for extortion based on this data. They (the ruling party) can, and most likely will do this without the bonds as well. The benefit of the bonds is that they (the ruling party) can now track everyone's donation (since they indirectly own ED, SBI etc.) but others cannot.

She also does not utter a word about companies which donated huge money Rs 966 crs by MEIL. Also about the various amedment made in the companies act. I T act to act unrestricted donations.
