Your Parliament record is on my want list.. Somehow I have missed finding a good copy, might as well get a repress eventually. You have refined taste in quality records and artists, good to see all of these records that I know little about ! I buy from Jackpot and Drastic Plastic, although.. Have you ever heard McCoy Tyner’s live album ‘Atlantis’? The 18 minute opening track ‘Atlantis’ is about as good as it gets, it’s like a funky ‘A Love Supreme’

Great finds Fred! That Trident album is a favourite by Tyner. The harpsichord really makes it sound otherworldly. Tical has aged pretty well, was a daring mix at the time. Not heard that latest Ill Considered album. Their drummer Emre is an old mate. We played in 4 or 5 bands together years ago. Lovely guy and amazing drummer.. can play virtually anything or any style! I remember phoning him a while ago to get him in a new band ( just to play small clubs/pubs) and he said “sorry Ed, am working with Shakira at the moment”! 😂
