Powertrain screwed my buddy he went with them from Fordtekmakuloco liking them and got a bad 5.4 and his main complaint was dealing with them over the issues mainly Cam Phasers and told me to not use them. I am now considering using Jasper even though they have complaints they sell so many engines that the ratio is small for bad vs. good and Jasper is easy to deal with if you get a bad engine or need warranty work. I am also considering Dave;s Auto Center love his UA-cam channel. I need a 4.8l for a 2003 GMC Sierra soon. I am still un-decided as of now, but leaning towards Jasper because my mechanic recommends them and has never had a bad engine yet.
Same here, got my 5.4 from powertrain after watching Bryan (Fordtekmakuloko) recommending them. After 500 miles of installation the engine has a rattle noise coming from the chain.
Morning my fellow 5.4 owner, How are things going now with the engine? I’ve been doing research powertrain is probably the one I’m going to go with. Hopefully I can get the engine with all the upgrades that need to be installed, did you put stock exhaust manifolds back on and then new mufflers
What's up bruh! I'm searching for a new 5.4L to put in my Ford F-150 now. I just got off the phone with Jasper and they quoted me $5600 😳. But, Power Train Products has it listed for $3,299 online. How is the engine running now and have you had any issues with it. Also, how much did you pay? Thanks!
Hey.. fixing to to do an update..its now been about 6 months and I have had no problem. My truck is like a brand new truck and I have already put 6000 mile on it
I just bought a Powertrain Product motor for my 2003 Ford Ranger. My shop had the old engine out and new one in, only 2 days. As of today, I have 500 miles on it and it runs like a champ. I’m changing the oil today going to use Mobil 1 oil. What oil did you use when you changed it at 500 miles??? I highly recommend Powertrain Products.
@@renaissancemann8997 Hello, so how is the engine doing now?? Im very serious about getting one of Powertrain Products engines. Just curious if you are still happy with engine??
Renaissance Mann Hey, just like the others, I’m interested in getting one of these Powertrain engines for my truck. Would love to see a quick video update!

There is plenty of audio of engine running under the hood you just aren’t hearing it because you’re probably subconsciously listening to a clicking sound
@@dmpsix7417 yes I bought a five seven for my 2012 Ram 1500 paid extra $379 for the no-fault warranty after about six months the rear main seal got the leaking so I took it to the dealer in Somerset Kentucky they charged 8 hours book time to R&R the seal they charged me $97 for the seal powertrain only $40 and only paid 5.8 hours for doing it the dealer said the seal was put in crooked from the manufacturer so I really should have had to pay for none of it.
Gonna be getting a powertrain 5.4 3v soon seems like the best option love the 5.4 and plan on doing a lightning build with it or the closest i can.
Thank you im getting one for my dodge
Car Wizard stands by the Powertrain Products 5.4

I’ve heard from fordtechmakulocko and car wizard, UA-cam mechanics say they swear by powertrain products for ford modular engines

Ford Reman 3100 after tax for my 2003 f150 with the 5.4 3yr unlimited miles warranty

Jasper engines are the most expensive. My old truck has a Jasper engine that I had installed back in 2008 and 13 years later it's still going strong.

You’re lucky with that JOKER engine
Wtf kind of video is this a steering wheel video
Just kidding good to hear about engine. I've heard good things
And not one sec of the new engine running under tha hood

Don't buy from this company the rip off.
Why's that ? Have you had experience with the 5.4?

Understandable. It does seem very frustrating.
Other than that how does the engine run ?
@@dmpsix7417 it's been ok.
Are you referring to Powertrain Products in Maryland?
