LethalGarage Hello Friend i Have a petition going online for people so we can try to save the Chevrolet Camaro with the rear wheel drive platform and the V8 engine powertrain !!!
GM don't have to justify the price, they can sell them regardless as people know it's the last chance to buy a proper Camaro ever and will pay whatever they are marked up at...
Yeah the problem with Chevy is they don’t swing for the fence when their people deserve it. They need to stop being cheap and general and simply get to cranking out hp.
I've been in ur boat,I wasted 7 months and I was number 1 ,and they supposedly had an allocation, complete lies....Call multiple dealers and put multiple orders in ,I ordered 5 cars the first week of July and I just got my Allocation 10 days ago
I read in two different articles that the UAW strike only affects the Wentzville assembly plant (for GM) at this time. Other plants not affected. So, hopefully the Camaro production stays on track.
Yeah most don’t understand that the strike is not even remotely effecting the Camaro production. The plant on strike builds their cargo vans and some other car nobody buys from GM. The problem is, just like what was stated in the video, are the allocations. There simply aren’t any.
Put in an order for a 1ss 1le and It’s already been produced. Super excited, but just a little eager to see what’s gonna happen with the Michigan situation and how long it will take for it to get to the dealership!
I have a 2SS 1LE ,sharkskin metallic, m6 ,red seatbelts &PDR (Performance data recorder) I been trying for 7 months my 2023 was never picked up ,I was lied to about an allocation, BUT on sept 7 that all changed ,1 of the dealers ive been dealing with got the allocation, I made a couple of changes from my 23 order and gm accepted it on sept 7 ,Now to see how this strike affects my build
@@frankie072 That’s awesome man congrats! Crazy part is we basically got the same thing cat except the 1ss part for me and manual transmission, but everything else is the same😂
It would be a great idea for Chevy to have approached this final year with the same approach that brought us the Z28. At least it would justify a rediculous price
Best way to cope is mentally prepare that my 24 2SS ain’t gonna get built. At least I can say, I tried! Wish GM would have brought Riptide Blue out years ago, instead of the last freaking model year. 🙄 every color but Hyper has been mid at best.
Your allocation hasn’t been picked up yet? I saw a couple in inventory in transit. I thought one would be yours.. my black one should arrive at the dealership in the next few days.. fingers crossed for you
@@dixiesouthern5095 nope, not yet, :/ my dealership got 2 allocations and Riptide Blue was under constraint and I’m not willing to change the color, so, we have to wait longer :( Two of my three orders are at the largest dealerships in North Florida that never charge over MSRP, so, they will get one (their words) just when.
Looks nice, it does look like they attempted to replicate a Corvette owners personal paint style. I am torn, I want to like it, but the markups for a Camaro are ridiculous. It is still a Camaro. Luckily this has held my cars price only a few k below purchase.
is it possible to order the 1LE-style CF wing and front splitter as aftermarket parts anywhere for the 6th-gen ZL1? or are the constraints GM is facing something that the aftermarket industry as a whole is also dealing with currently?
You can order from 3rd party companies, but all those parts are next to impossible to get from GM currently unless you have a Vin’ed car that came with it.
chevy never releases cool things to the public, just like that camaro from transformers 4 and that concept sideswipe corvette, those would have been the killers for dodge and ford
Once again GM never loved the Camaro. They should have put 668hp Blackwing Motor in the Car. Just basically a Sticker Car. At least Dodge sent out the Challenger with a Bang...
This is what happens when you make two sportcars that does essentially the same thing. Give you some of the best track cars money can buy. But you are limited to what you can do with one of the cars because it's already stepping on the toes of the halo car. You can't make a lightweight Z28 with the Z06 engine. Because you'll have a lighter car producing the same amount of power for 20k less. Just take the SS curbweight take out the non-essential weight place the relatively same weight LT6 instead the LT1. And you have a 3300 or 3400 lbs Z28 that would be able to go toe to toe with the C8 Z06 for far less money. They should have made the Camaro more grand tourer capable of being slightly quicker than the 5th gen Camaro. instead of being the best bang for your buck track car. If they would have made it slightly larger with better visibility. It probably would be taking sales from both the Challenger and Mustang. Because obviously people didn't care too much about absolute track performance. If they do intend to make Corvette its own brand. Take the C8 and call it Stingray. So instead of it being Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 or Z06 lop off Chevrolet. Then they can make a cheaper not so performance oriented mid engine model below the Stingray. Call that Avista or Wildcat. Because a Camaro has to have a V8. Then install turbo only engines. You have the 309 hp 2.7t, the 360 hp or 400 hp 3.0tt, then the 3.6tt with 472 hp as the top of the line model. Price the 2.7t in between the 3.6 na Camaro and the LT1 Camaro. Price the 3.0tt in between the LT1 and 2SS Camaro. Then price the 3.6tt around the same price as the ZL1 when it first came out. So around 60k. The Corvette is selling really well for what it is. Capitalizing on the fact that cheap mid engine cars would give them more sales. Case in point the Corvette is able to sell more models while simultaneously having a higher cost to them. Adding a cheaper non-performance model with better interior quality than the Camaro would benefit them in sales. While also benefitiing some of the folks who can't afford a Corvette. Let the Corvette be the performance model and let the new lower price model be a GT model.
Not worth the price. Im pissed they just smashed shit on the car from my zl1 1le and tossed some badges on. I am a fan of the dive planes makes it look mean as fuck. Here in canada there is 30 coming here and 11 for western canada. Talked to a few dealers and they just ordered what they think would sell all with the auto and they basically said its up for auction.
ok ok stop cryin’ I sub’ed… haa, ya got me. cool channel and quite a collector car to have. but crazy money. it would look good next to my 19 ZR1 Corvette though lol!
Sadness 😢 love the look but not worth it. Plus the dealers are gonna abuse the hell out of the consumer. My stingray was $83000 and at my limit on msrp. Can't blame anything but market conditions. Would love to have one but not for this price.

Beautiful looking car, still can't believe it's the end of vehicles like this though...so sad...😢
I like the car but agree, too much for a sticker package with a few parts mixed in from the 1LE. Should of been atleast 700+ hp also.
2024 camaro zl1 collector's edition should of been at least 700+hp also.
Nice car but I don’t think the price is justified
Not at all.
It’s not… imma just keep my v6

Got a 2SS CE coming dealer markup $2500, I had my hands on 2 more with a 5g markup and a 15g markup
That Panther looks like the old Cougar logo, if I recall, so many years ago.
They should of did a special edition with the LT5 in it .
I guess we'll see what the lottery has to say about the situation,
Really hoping I get an allocation for my 2024 2SS, first on the list for my dealer but they just haven’t gotten anything yet.

Where are you I might have some information on two 2SS one coupe and a convertible. The dealer wants $5g over
In Canada price increase is close to 8K$ for a 2SS :-(
over 11k for a zl1 ...
If you switch over to the amsoil oil is it dexos approved also my Camaro uses a 0 w 40 oil
Amsoil exceeds dexos I & II ratings.
American muscle cars are the best! ❤
Good, im glad the camaro is done. Let's bump up the value of our Camaros.

Why would workers that are getting fired anyway going to strike? I’d worry more about shoddy work from people about to loose their jobs
I’m so glad I ordered a 2023 1LE

Ya anyone that bought that at 110k plus needs to examine their choices in life .
When they start changing colors and adding stripes its obvious they dont care.
F these guys and their prices.
The CE Camaro ZL1's look super badass. That said, I wished Chevy did much more with them, especially for the price they're asking...

Yea. Hard pass at almost 90k
