Seminoma of Left Testicle

Seminoma: Seminoma's are a Germ Cell Tumor (tumor from reproductive cells) specifically in the seminiferous tubules (where sperm is produced) and are very malignant. These are very rare (less than 1% of male tumors). Their causes are not clearly defined, however genetics, environment, and other factors play a contributing role. Stages I and II have a 5 year survival rate greater than 95%, while Stage III has 73% survival. Seminomas are most commonly found in men 15-34.
