PVA dries clear(ish). Try this technique with some clear varnish over it instead of paint?

Hi I'm looking for a crackle paste homemade that will crack plaster would you know of a homemade version for plaster please.
Can the base and top paint be the same colour and if so will you still see the cracks

What kinds of paint is it? Wall paint or wood paint.
Water base Stain might work also But definitely Latex! That's what i used when i was in Film!
It is vinyl matt paint. Wall paint
What do you mean when you say leave holidays on some areas?
A 'holiday' is a term used for a gap or break in the painted surface. i.e. 'not perfect'
