The problem with ALL varieties of government issued Central Bank fiat currencies, physical or digital, is that they are ALL infinitely inflated over time, so whether they physically print more or increase the digital supply, all that does is to literally suck value out of the currency you and everyone else already holds, physical or digital. This will obviously be easier for them to do if they introduce a CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency) which would give them even greater control over what they let you do with (their) currency. Luckily, there is something anyone can use that has diminishing inflation over time, with a fixed, predictable supply, that no matter how much any government don't like it, there is nothing they can actually do to stop it. In fact they will eventually have to start buying it themselves because it will become (actually already is) a greater store of value than even gold.
